Satellite A105 boot up only from HDD not from Floppy or CD-ROM

Even after C-MOS Set up, system is booting only from HDD not from Floppy or CD-ROM.
Is there any sepcific setting to set these controls in Satellite A-105 Model ?

Do you mean an external floppy drive and external CD-ROM drive or a one which is built-in?
If you want to boot from the internal CD-rom drive so you have 3 possibilities.
1. Changing the booting order in the BIOS to CD drive
2. pressing the C button immediately after notebook starting
3. pressing the F12 button immediately after notebook starting and choosing the CD drive
I think you should also be sure that you want to boot from the bootable CD.
If the CD is not bootable you will be not able to boot from the drive.
PS: If you want to boot from the floppy drive you can press instead of C button the U button

You don't really delete app that way, that way to stop backup for that app in icloud.
You need to delete it from your home screen and then while it still will look like download from icloud - app will start fresh.
However if app uses any account sign in the stuff that is attached to sign in will come back, so if you do not want to you need to use
fresh account as well.

We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple. We won't know what terms that iTunes Support think that you violated, but the most common reason is probably trying to use another country's store - you are in the same country as you have listed on your iTunes account ?

Satellite A105-s4344 shuts down after EXACTLY 60 seconds. The mobo has been removed from bezels and all un-needed devices removed (DVD, HDD, WiFI etc.). Swapped CPU and RAM with known good ones. Swapped AC adapter and battery with known good. Does the same on AC or DC only inputs.
I have not yet flashed the BIOS (with 60 seconds this would be foolish). But, I am looking into replacing or reflashing with an EEPROM burner. Currently has V 2.0
I am not sure what genration heat detecting this system uses, but it is a possible cause if it is one of the later generations (visit http://www.topbits.com/how-to-monitor-cpu-temperature.html if you do not know that I am refering to).
Prior to reballing the north and south bridge, and flashing I figured I would get some input from you folks. Just to cover all bases ;)

I am not technician but here just my opinion about all this. The fact is that after switching your notebook ON CPU in just few seconds reaches very high temperature. You can switch your notebook ON and just enter BIOS settings and the same should happen again.
I cannot say for sure if this is 100% thermal issue or not but what else can be responsible for switching off? CPU will be hot in few seconds only. Material change structure with temperature change and I can just imagine some contact will be interrupted.
On this forum we had many similar reports like when cold notebook starts and runs well but after short time switches off for no reason. Maybe I am wrong but for me it sounds like thermal or bad contacts issue. Lets see what other people have to say about it.

Satellite A105-4384: Vista Print Spooler will not keep running

I upgraded my Satellite A105-4384 to Windows Vista professional. I downloaded all of the driver updates from Toshiba's website and ever since....my print spooler service will not run.
It starts with no error but immediately dies. Please advise of a fix for this. FYI. It dies w/no printer installed.

I do not know what happen exactly but I am wondering if print spooler service has something to do with Toshiba directly or maybe you should ask Microsoft what is wrong there.
I use Vista Ultimate on older Satellite M70 and I can print all my Word documents.

A is the centralized purchasing plant.
Others are manufacturing and sales plant.
So all my Purchase requisitions should be generated by plant A only. (Not from other plants) How can I make this?

You can restrict PR creation in other plants by using authorisation object M_BANF_WRK.
Activate this object via SU24 for transactions ME51 or ME51N and then create a role in PFCG with this object or add this object in your existing roles and then assign users to this role.
Keep in mind do not link plants to this role which you dont want to used for PR.

DTD lookup from jar, not from web

I need to have DTD lookup from jar file, as most DTD's are already in the jars, but also do not have internet access to look up dtd.
I have seen this done once, but cannot replicate it. In a jboss-profiler.jar, when deployed, its log file shows the following:

V3-5727105 will not boot up from HDD or from Recovery CD.

4 weeks ago when I switched on my laptop I got a blue screen message during start-up saying a problem had been encountered and it needed to restart to try to fix the problem, then just a dark grey screen and nothing.Laptop is only 7 months old. Contacted Tech Support and they stated I needed Recovery CDs and provided me with a set after I paid £60.Tried to boot from Recovery CD and got Acer Recovery Management to load, but after selecting restore to factory settings the laptop entered into a never ending cycle of 'analysing HDD' , attempting to fix HDD'.Left the laptop running for 12 hours and that was the only two messages I saw on the screen.No option to 'exit as problem encountered' so I had to power down my laptop to escape the 'loop'.Tech Support now wants me to try to format my HDD by taking my laptop to a local PC repair shop.Why am I being asked to do all the diagnosis work on a 7 month old PC? Surely it should be fixed under the manufacturers warranty?Could someone please explain what trying to format my HDD will show?Thanks

Update ..... My laptop would not boot up from the recovery disc as it turned out the hard drive required to be re-formatted to clear the fault. I was told by the PC Repair company that no matter what I tried I would not have been able to fix/clear the fault. Given it appears to have been a software corruption issue, after reading the Acer Warranty I have found out that I have to pay for the repair as the machine hardware remains in g.w.o. and the laptop is back in full working order once again. The PC Repair man did say however that if I had phoned him first instead of Acer Technical Support, I would not have needed to pay Acer for the set of Recovery discs as he would have provided a fresh installation of Win 8.1. at a fraction of the price! Lesson learned.

10.6.3 ran from install, not from power on boot, yes from safe boot

Installed 10.6.3 from retail disk to FW external HD. Migrated everything from 10.5.8 internal boot drive. 10.6.3 ran fine until I shut down overnight. Power up the following morning gave login screen, then blue screen. Rebooted to safe mode; is now running fine. Repaired permissions more than once. (Log shows exactly the same items found and "repaired.")
Would appreciate a systematic way to determine what's keeping the normal boot from completing.

Here's what I think verbose mode produced in the log. The first messages (11:17 to 11:19) seem to be one set; the others (12:06 to 12:10) may be from the Safe Boot.

Boot older G3/9.1 not from hard drive or CD?

I have an old ibook G3 w/ OS 9 whose hard drive crashed and the CD drive doesn't work, so can't book from a CD. I want to use my ibook g4 (w/ Mac OS X 10.3.9) to try to read and get files off of the hard drive. (Either boot the old computer using my newer ibook or just try to read the older hard drive from the newer ibook.) The G3 ibook doesn't have firewire of course - I can't connect via ethernet and boot could I?
Any other options? Could I boot from a flash drive (would be older USB 1)? Could I boot from an ipod over USB?

Sorry, but you lost me on the rational of using another computer to read a crashed drive? Doesn't dead mean dead?
You need some recovery service for the crashed drive not another computer. Also monkeying with a bad drive makes it less likely for successful recovery.
You didn't mention the "order" of failures with the CD and HD. If they both went at the same time there could be other mechanical issues such as the ATA controller that interfaces the 2 may of went bad. That may mean the possibility of a bad logic board.
I think you would be better helped by some professional that can get a hands on look to see what exactly is bad. I also would refrain from trying to interface a bad computer with a good one, as you may end up with 2 dead computers in the process.

Database mail only works from SSMS not from a job

I have a script that returns its results via DB mail. When I run it from SSMS I get email, when I run it from a job I don't get email

I've already enabled mail in SQL server agent.
1. Went into object-explorer, right-clicked on the SQL Server Agent, and selected properties. Then
went to the Alert System page, and enabled the mail profile for the server agent. (you may already have this).
2. Then, went to "Database mail", right-clicked and selected "Configure
Database mail." Selected "Manage profile security" and made sure my profile was set to public. THEN, and this is the kicker, clicked on the "Default Profile" field and set it to "yes".

Hey , Welcome to the HP Support Forum. I see that you're unable to use ePrint or enable webservices with your HP ENVY 7640 e-All-in-One Printer. I would like to help. Have you tried the basic ePrint/webservices setup method as recommended by HP? If not, give that a shot first. If this is not new to you please read on, I have some more suggestions that might enable this feature for you. I recommend you set a Manual DNS on your printer. Here's how: Click on the HP ENVY 7640 icon on your PC desktop (note that I've used screenshots for a different printer, but the steps are essentially identical) to access the HP Printer Assistant. How can I put logic 9 onto my new ssd, will it not allow me as i ONLY get three download of it (using the logic studio from disc, not from the app store)

So, working on the basis you have a Mac Pro, and you've installed your SSD. Clone your main drive (Startup Disk).
Once you've done that, go to
System Preferences>Startup Disk and select the SSD.
You now have a faster boot up and quicker system and also an internal back up, so if it didn't work you just go back to using the original Startup disk.

Thanks for your help, I looked around and didn't find anything with that name. But I did find a seeting under preferences, a checkbox, that said "metadata" but that was already ticked.
I ticked the box from Supports XMP though, and did the show hidden files setting in Bridge, but nothing changed.
Files that bridge identifies as untagged still load their various embedded colour profiles in Illustrator etc. which is good. - The files behaving as they should is more imporant than Bridge's ability to display information about the files correctly. So I guess I just won't use Bridge, so I can't get annoyed by it! An interesting solution....!

Problem with DNS and/or Virtual Host (works from inside, not from outside)

I am running several web sites (as virtual hosts) successfully on one Xserve (192.168.200), which are accessible internally and from the Internet (via forwarding port 80 on our firewall).
Now I am trying to add another web site (newmini.domain.com), which however is running on a Mac mini (also on the same subnet as the Xserve) at 192.168.100. What I did is make an additional entry under the Xserve's DNS for the domain (domain.com) (+ Machine..., pointing to 192.168.0.100). (I also made the necessary changes to the Mac mini's httpd and hosts configuration--no problem there).
Now, here's the strange thing: All computers on the subnet, whose DNS points to the Xserve, can see and browse newmini.domain.com fine. No problem. The computers ask the Xserve for the IP of the host in question, the Xserve says, "192.168.100", the request goes to the Mac mini, and it serves the web site as expected.
But this doesn't happen if the request comes from the Internet. Instead of seeing the Mac mini, the client sees the default web site of the Xserve... So it appears that somewhere, the virtual host part of the HTTP request is lost between our firewall and the Xserve.

You say you've setup port forwarding on the firewall. Port forwarding only cares about the port number (80). It knows nothing about the nature of the request (e.g. the hostname that the web request is for). Therefore all extenal connections on port 80 get sent to the XServe. The newmini doesn't see the traffic at all.
If you only have a single public IP address you can only forward port 80 traffic to a single machine. Your options are to either use a different port number, or configure the XServe to proxy the connection to the mini (so now the traffic goes router -> XServe -> Mini -> XServe -> router), although that might not do what you want since it still places load and dependencies on the XServe.
