Satellite A130 PSAD3U - Need nVidia Vista driver - slow gaming

Satellite A130 with geForce 7600 Go (Vista) which drivers are bad. Games plays so slow.
I try to update drivers but I don't find correct drivers.
Where are drivers for my notebook?

Hi
I found this Toshiba US document about a similar issue.
The solution is --- BIOS and nVidia graphic driver update.
[Video 'stutter' during game play Windows Vista|http://209.167.114.38/support/techsupport/tsbs/all/-TSB001442.htm]
[New video driver and BIOS eliminates video 'stutter' during game play (Windows Vista)|http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_dtlView.jsp?soid=1924764 ]
Maybe it helps

  • Satellite Pro A200 - Need Windows 7 driver for flash card reader

I have changed from Vista to Windows 7 on my Satellite A200-20N, and now I can't use the flash card reader in it. I have already looked for drivers, but I only find one for vista, also tried to install it, but was not successful.
How could I use my flash card reader under Windows 7?

    Hi
Unfortunately I think you can only use the Vista driver and normally they also work on Windows 7.
Maybe you can explain what not successful means exactly
Furthermore you can try a newer card reader driver from another notebook model, e. g. Satellite A300.
    Check this!!!

  • Satellite Pro A100-080: NVidia display driver crashing during 3D Games

    Hello,
i have some problems with the display driver since i've bought the notebook 9 month ago. I've tried to install every new driver published on the toshiba homepage but no driver is running stable on my system.
The problem is that my notebook is crashing with bluescreen during playing 3d games and my windows vista tells me its the display driver causing the crashes.
I had the previous version of the driver installed several month ago and i feel it was more stable than the current version. But unfortunately i've lost the files for that one, but i would prefer any functional driver for this notebook.

  • Satellite A200-1YW - Need storage card driver for Windows 7

    Hello.
I have problem with installation storage card driver on Windows 7. I can't find the appropriate driver for this model. Pls give me link to this driver.

    Hi
I assume you mean the Flash Card reader on your notebook?
The Satellite A200-1YW belongs to the PSAE3 series I think and therefore you can get all drivers here:
    http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > Support & Downloads > Download Drivers
I have founded driver for Vista 32bit. If you use Windows 7 32bit you should try this driver. Normally it should work.

  • Satellite A100-768 - need video card driver for Win 8

    Hi everybody,
I cannot find any driver suitable for my Satellite A100-768 where I just installed Win8, my graphic card should be Ati x1400 but nothing work even with Ati and/or toshiba drivers.
    Please help me!

    Hi
The old Satellite A100-768 isnt Win 8 supported notebook model.
The notebook was equipped with an ATI X1600 (code: M54P 128MB DDR RAM)graphic chip.
I dont think that ATI has developed an Win 8 compatible driver for this old graphic chip.
In my opinion you can use only an standard graphic driver which is part of Win 8 system

  • Satellite P100-324: Need 64bit VISTA drivers

Especialy, I have problems with Connexant audio and card reader driver.
Maybe you know what EXACTLY is inside this lap?
    Best regards,

We will see in the future what drivers and what notebook series will be supported

  • Satellite A100-1k7:Need Atheros 5007eg driver for Ubuntu 7.10 Linux

    Hi
I'm the proud owner of an A100-1k7 laptop upgraded to a total of 2Gb Ram.
I tried to install my new discovery, Ubuntu 7.10 onto it. I succeeded of course:)
However I do have on issue which I can't figure out myself.
My wifi adapter is not running. It's one of those atheros 5007eg's.
I tried to find a driver but couldn't find one.
Madwifi doesn't support it yet and ndiswrapper, well that's a bit out of my league I suppose.
I tried different tutorials but all of them didn't work for me.
    I got this far:
When i give ndiswrapper the driver install command (i'm using a winxp 32bit driver) it shouts driver already installed.
But when i try to see if it works i get the message wrong driver.
Could anyone please give me a good working tutorial on how to install drivers for this wifi adapter?
And please bare in mind i'm an absolute new regarding linux based operating systems.... so a tutorial which i could simply copy and paste into my terminal would be a gift of the gods to me:)
Please forgive me for my poor English since it is not my native language.
    Kind regards,
    Bas

    Hello Martyna
    >because it's not good answer that Linux is not recommended for Toshiba.
In my opinion you have misunderstand something here. I really do not know where you have founded info that Linux is not recommended for Toshiba notebooks. Believe me it is definitely wrong. There are many different Linux distributions and versions that you can use with Toshiba notebooks.
I see there just one problem and it is official Linux support. As you know Toshiba does not support Linux and at the moment you are on your own. Linux OS is very popular and I hope that more and more notebook manufacturers will start with official Linux support.
    Bye and good luck!

  • Satellite A105-S1013: Need CDW/DVD drive original firmware?

I flashed the wrong firmware model of my CDW/DVD optical drive and now the drive is not being recognized by WinXP. It simply vanished...
I would like to re-flash the correct original firmware for this drive.
The drive is a TSST model TS-L462C TO10.
Can anybody help me locate the original firmware for this drive model?
I know the firmware are very model specific and are not interchangeable.
I searched all Toshiba/Samsung sites to no avail.
Tks in advance for any help...

Thanks, but unfortunately none of these sites offers a TS-L462C TO10 firmware - they offer other models.
I am under the impression this is a rather new firmware code which has not been widely divulged yet. My computer is rather new ( 3 months since I bought it).
Anybody has or knows who has this firmware ??
    Thanks

  • Satellite L655-19H - Need graphic card driver for Windows 8

    Hello!
I have a problem with VGA drivers on my L655-19H in Windows 8. Last drivers on Toshiba site only for windows 7 and don't work with my W8.
I instal drivers manually, but some games tell me "bad video card drivers". Microsoft drivers dont work too.
    Sry for my english.

As Silas wrote, the Win 8 system isnt supported for this notebook model.
I found on Toshiba page an Win 8 supported model matrix and this series isnt listed.
This means that Win 8 drivers will not be available.
If you need Win 8 graphic drivers, you will need to search at your own hand on some 3rd party websites like omegadrivers.net or similar.
As Im not mistaken the notebook uses the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphic chip.

  • Xorg fails to restart with nvidia propertiary driver

    Hi!
Dear fellow archers, I've got this little problem which is driving me crazy: after first successful start of xorg while booting  ("kdm" is in the DAEMONS list in rc.conf), i can't get to start it once again (for example with "/etc/rc.d/kdm restart"). When I try to do this screen goes blank (+ single underscore in top-left corner) for ~10 seconds, then nvidia logo shows up for half a second, and finally it failbacks to terminal.
I use thinkpad T61 with nvidia quadro nvs 140m and nvidia driver version 190.42 (from extra repo).
Thanks in advance for all suggestions.

I don't think the 190 driver is intended for the quadro M series. As per the nvidia site, the 100 or 169 drivers support your video card.
edit: You might also try the nouveau driver.
Well, this quadro is almost identical to geforce 8400GS, so I don't think nvidia site is up to date in this respect. Besides, other than this issue everything works just fine. It is just annoying to be forced to reboot everytime I have to restart X. And I need nvidia propertiary driver, because I use opencl.
Thats odd then. I have an 8400gs and am using the beta driver without any issues. Give the legacy driver a try once.
    Exit the gui (ctrl+alt+f1)
    Remove the current driver
    pacman -Rd nvidia nvidia-utils
(replace with nvidia-beta nvidia-utils-beta if you switched to the beta driver)
    Now install the legacy driver
    pacman -S nvidia-173xx nvidia-173xx-utils
    Reboot
    Hope this helps.

  • Need NVIDIA WXP display driver for Satellite P200

    Hello
I have a problem with installing Display Drivers on Setellite P200-10C.
I install OS Windows XP and can't find drivers for NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600.
On this site there is only windows vista driver. On nVidia official site I have'n found any drivers for this device.
    Can you help me?

http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/sb/CS-020683.htm has working xp video drivers, Intel 945 express chip set family is the video processor in the Satellite P200. Just for reference the intel video driver worked on my Satellite P200-RT5 part number pspboc-rt508c
The drivers you downloaded from nvidia are likely not working for you because instead of a nvidia or ati, you have an Intel graphics card. You have to try drivers for all three till one of them works.

  • URxvt getting slower with use - is it xft or nvidia binary driver?

    Hi,
I started using URxvt recently and I love it, especially the tabbed add-on. There's just one problem - with intensive use, after an hour or two it gets very slow in refreshing when switching between tabs or just using it. I mean the text redraw takes a while, like half a second, which is annoying when switching between many tabs.
Now I know xft is supposted to be slow and I'm using it, but I have a core 2 duo 2.33GHz CPU so I thought maybe it can handle xft... And it does, just after restart it works just faaaaast. But after an hour or so it's slow, and later it's even slower.
What is also interesting is that sometimes just resizing the window helps, like making it just a tad smaller, or even bigger. But after a couple resizes even that doesn't help.
So, is it xft that's getting slower and slower with use?
I also use the nvidia proprietary driver and I heard that causes problems, so could that be it?
Apart from that, I use kde 4.4. URxvt is 9.07 and nvidia is 195.36.03.
As for disabling xft: I'm currently using Code Envy R font and I love it, so if I can just keep using it without xft (can i?) then that's okay, otherwise I'd like to stick to xft if at all possible....
Does that happen to anybody else? What do you think may be the problem?
    Thanks!

Thanks everybody for all the suggestions. I have checked htop, atop and iotop to ensure nothing is eating my resources. The CPU is free, disk is free and most of memory is as well (I have 3gig so it's plenty). I'm not running in daemon mode and the slowing down is mostly visible when switching tabs so maybe that's it.
I'm familiar with tmux, thanks for the suggestion too, but I still can't get used to it's shortcuts. I like urxvt simple shift-left and shift-right to switch tabs. Maybe I can just reconfigure tmux hotkeys... I'll certainly go that way if I fail with getting urxvt to work properly but there's still a couple of things to try.
I'll try the daemon/client mode of urxvt and I'm also currently trying mrxvt with UTF-8 patch from aur, so far it works good but I need to put it to much more use before I can say it's really fast.
I understand urxvt should run fine on my machine, that's why I was really surprised when I noticed the slow downs. I suspected nvidia because they had some issues in the past with anti-aliased fonts, but seems like it was in the past. One thing's for sure - it made konsole really slow in some configurations. So I thought maybe urxvt is affected by that as well, but if it works for other people then I guess it's something else.
Thanks for all the suggestions everybody!

  • Satellite A210-16G Mass Storage Controller driver for Windows Vista 32-bit

Hello, I need Toshiba Satellite A210-16G Mass Storage Controller driver for Windows Vista 32-bit. If you have setup file, please redirect me, if you have any other file, please explain me where to install it.

If I were you I would take look to the Drivers Download site of the Toshiba mainpage, because there you can find everything you need.
The mass storage controller can either be the HDD controller or the SD-card controller. I would download both of them.
Heres a direct link to the Drivers page: http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp
