Satellite A305D-S6848 - Cannot find XP drivers

Ive Satellite A305D-S6848 model of your notebook.
But I cant setup general drivers (sound, video etc.) on my XP OS instead after I remove Vista OS.
Can anybody help plzz how can i get those drivers
Can anybody send me a link that u uploaded ur drivers or can anybody upload to me those because i cant find drivers at official web site.

This is a Toshiba US notebook and you have to search on the Toshiba US driver page.
If there are no XP drivers then you will have to collect the drivers at your own hand.
The A305 is very similar to the A300 European series so try some single XP driver released for the A300 notebook models on the Toshiba European driver website.

Need info about memory for Satellite A305D-S6848

I'm looking to upgrade my system memory from 3GB to 4GB. I am not able to find the required specs anywhere, including in the product's supposed "detailed specifications", where the memory description is woefully inadequate. It doesn't even specify that it needs SODIMM! How can I find out the exact specs that I need?
I'm also curious if faster memory (such as PC2-6400) will work, but just run at the system's 5300 speed?

I cannot find the drivers on the website for Qosmio x300-15h

I have used my toshiba qosmio x300-15h for many years but it has been in russian , the user has been fine with this but now i need to sell it and have installed english windows 7 32bit home premium on it , but it seems the nvidia graphics cards are not working, but everything else seems to be and i cannot sell it like this .
i cannot find the drivers on the website as this is a russian model
does anyone know where i can get these drivers ?

I just did a quik look at uk Toshiba drivers for Qosmio X300 and they seem to be all there. I think those drivers should be suitable for your laptop regardless of the language used.

Since months I had problem with my VGA driver this case become noisy and I cant do an main things on my jo. My laptop model is Satellite A305D-S6848 with Windows 7 64bit
I tried the driver from CSD support and isnt working driver version is 8.634.1

That means the fan is running on high level or what you mean exactly?
And if so, why its related to VGA driver?
If your fan is running on high level I think there is another reason Generally speaking high CPU usage means high fan activity so if you run a lot of programs high fan activity is normal.
Furthermore its recommendable to clean the cooling system from time to time using compressed air spray as described here:

Satellite A305D-S6848 - Upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 32bit

I started the upgrading process, but it giving me a message that, I need to uninstall ATI CATALYST Install Manager, ATI Catalyst Control Center. My laptop is model A305D-S6848 Vista 32 bit. I don't know where to start to get that so can somebody point me to right direction to get that?
My laptop use ATI Radeon X1250 Graphic Card.

Hi buddy,
I think you have to uninstall the ATI Catalyst driver (display driver) because the version is too old and not compatible with Vista. You can uninstall the display driver in control panel > uninstall software. There you should find a list with all installed programs and drivers.

Cannot find ANY drivers for my model please help!!!

Hello, i recently had to replace the hard drive for my Toshiba Satellite A200. now the trouble im facing is that i had to use a full clean copy of windows to install on this laptop thinking that the toshiba website will have the drivers that i am looking for. well it turns out they dont... i cannot even find the display adapter driver for this laptop let alone the network driver, mass storage driver or anything really.
So please, here is the info for the laptop and if anyone can point me in the right direction for finding these drivers it would be greatly appreciated.

Satellite L300D-11V cannot find a WLAN network

Ok,
I have 2 x Satellite L300D-11V series laptop and both are having the same problem: they are not detecting my wireless network in my house but I have proved the wireless hub by using a third PC (HP) and works perfectly,
Ive checked the wireless switch is on and done the FN+F8 key but it still cannot find a network. I've checked the devices in the Network adaptors and it finds Realtek RTL8102E Family PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC but this is a LAN card isn't it?
Other devices show an Unknown Device but where would I find the Wireless device?

I don't know what kind of stories you heard in both shops but the fact is that Toshiba offers notebooks with WLAN card inside. All these notebooks are delivered with preinstalled operating system (recovery image) and have factory settings.
This recovery image contains operating system, all necessary drivers (including WLAN driver), Toshiba designed tools and utilities and some additional software. So if you buy new notebook with preinstalled OS the WLAN driver is there.
The statement from both shops is either misinformation or there is some misunderstanding.

Satellite L770 - I cannot find an adobepdf.dll

I've just taken delivery of a L770 laptop and am now busy installing my programs.
Adobe Acrobat Professional v8.00 asks for adobepdf.dll to be installed from the Windows Vista CD-Rom, which I don't have because this laptop has Windows 7 Home edition 64 bit installed.
I cannot find an adobepdf.dll on this computer, nor rather worryingly can I find any cab files. I did not receive a windows cd as I did with my first Toshiba laptop many years ago - am I now stuck?
I thought that all computers had to have the windows files supplied?

Of course you cannot be happy with that but adobepdf.dll is not a part of the Windows OS and the Acrobat Pro was not a part of the image so I assume the Acrobat Pro has to be installed once again in order to include this

Satellite L500-1XD - cannot find an update for PC health monitor

This TBS advises updates to PC health monitor and HDD/SDD alert.
HDD/SDD alert has a published update in the relevant downloads section but I cannot find an update for PC health monitor.
Any one got any bright ideas ?
Otherwise this seems quite a balanced system.

I would like to download ver 1.5.6.0 but it does not seem to be listed on the download list (Two and a quarter pages long) for the L500-1XD on the Toshiba-Europe website. I am using I.E.8
Where are you seeing this listed ? Could you give me a URL please ?
It is an important update as it resolves a conflict between video streaming from HD and SMART HD messages as described in the TSB.
The only upgrade that is tagged as 1.5.6.0 is the Bullitin Board and this does not sound like the correct type of application. There was obviously a major update on 21/6/2010 there are 30 odd updates with that date.

Satellite A65-S126: Cannot find the RTC battery

I have my machine turn down but cannot find the batteries to replace them. Based on Toshiba support the P/N are P000444350 but there is no such item in the case that I can see. Any ideas..?
Even the disassembly manuals online do not show them.
I know there must be something in here.
Also according to the operation manual these batteries take power from the main battery.
Since my main battery is completely dead, would this account for the time snyc issue I'm having with the RTC batteries; since they are not getting power to recharge??

This is not exactly right.
The RTC battery provides power to the motherboard therewith the internal clock and the BIOS can run 24/7.
It does no matter if the main battery is empty. The RTC should provide the power to motherboard for several times also if the main battery is empty.
If the RTC battery is empty the motherboard cannot be provided with power and the internal clock, BIOS will be reset.
In such case you have to connect the main battery and the AC adaptor to the notebook and let the battery charge for about 12 hours.

You have to use the Volume control dial at the notebook front side!!!

Satellite L550-18M - Cannot find any Touchpad Drivers

I just bought a Toshiba Satellite L550-18M and I can`t seem to locate any drivers for the full use of my touchpad (can`t use scrolling, nor zooming functions).
I tried installing some synaptics from the our sugestions official website and some synaptics drivers from a Toshiba Satellite L500D, but it didn`t help.

I dont know what Windows OS you have but I assume you are using Win 7 64bit. Right?
The L550-18M belongs to PSLNEE series.
It seems that there are no many drivers published for this series.
But there are touchpad drivers for other Satellite L550 series.
The Alps Electric and Synaptics touchpad drivers are released.
In driver download form choose;
- Satellite
- Satellite L series
- Satellite L550
- All (short model)
- All (operating system)
- Touchpad driver
Then you will get all drivers for touchpad.
PS: be sure that the touchpad settigns are configured in control panel -> mouse -> device settigns

Satellite Pro 6000: Cannot find correct WLAN driver

I have re-installed Windows Xp on my notebook Satellite Pro 6000. All is working except for the wireless connectivity.
When looking in the device manager, I see that the WLAN driver has not (or incorrectly) been installed.
So looked at the Toshiba site for the corresponding drivers, but I am not able to find the correct one. I did found some drivers, which seems to be the one, but unfortunately after installing the drivers, the wireless connectivity is still not available.
Any help would be appreciated.

I dont believe that you cannot install the Wlan driver.
Go to the device manger and find out which Wlan card was installed. (check properties)
If the WLan card is placed under network adapters so the driver was installed properly.
But if you see a unknown device in device manager so you need the WLan driver.
Then download the WLan driver from the Toshiba site. Be sure that you use the right driver for the right OS!
You can try firstly to uninstall the old driver and then to install the new one.

I'm unable to find the video drivers for Satellite A500-1C0, P/N: PSAR3E for the Windows 7 x86.
I tried on the Nvidia website, they recommended the manufacturer's website....

Normally you can get all drivers here:

I have checked this and it seems that at the moment are no 32bit Windows 7 drivers available.
What you can do now is searching for other display drivers. Maybe another Toshiba notebook has the same graphic card and there are Windows 7 drivers released.
Otherwise you could try the Vista 32bit drivers. Normally they also work on Windows 7.

I have a Satellite U400-17R model PC.
Long ago i accessed the support page of my PC.
At that time i could UPGRADE my Vista to a Windows 7 BUT at that time i didn`t have a valid "Credit Card/Visa".

I think the upgrade is finished now as Akuma wrote. This option was only available for a certain period and this time is over now.
If you want to upgrade to Windows 7 you have to buy a copy from Microsoft. With this disk you can upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 too.
