Satellite A60-174: system32\drivers\isapnp.sys error
Hello
after many nights and using the recovery CD nd trying everything my Satellite A60 do not want to work. Even after I cleaned and formt everything new.
I got this error: system32\drivers\isapnp.sys
I installed the HDD in another laptop and works fine. If I bring the HDD back to to the Satellite A60 I still get this error.
OR the Toshi stays at Debugger DLL when I try to install another version of win XP Pro.
I think the RAM or something in the motherboard is broken. Can I change the Motherboard RAM?
Would it help if I add some ram in the extra RAM slot?
(I use only the stock ram as it is on the motherboard.
anyother idea what this system32\drivers\isapnp.sys can be.
It says to start the laptop with the original Win XP cd and try with an R.
Well this dos NOT work in this laptop.
I can not come to the WinXP screen. The laptop will break the instalation before that!

Hi
It seems youre right. Have investigated a little bit and it seems that this notebook was delivered with a 256MB internal memory.
I dont think that you will be able to remove the memory or to solve this issue yourself.
I really recommend contacting the Toshiba service partner. The guys have more experience with such reparation procedures.
If you will open the notebook and will try to remove something so I think its possible that you will damage something more on the motherboard.

Windows Boot Manager Windiws\system32\drivers\rsteachci.sys error
Hi,
We are using SCCM 2012 R2 SP2, CU3. When I boot up from PXE and after loading files, I get this message:
File:\Windows\system32\drivers\rsteahci.sys
Status 0xc000035a
I already recreated my boot.wim but to no avail. What do I do?This is clearly an issue with the drivers in your boot image. Yes, for boot image driver issues you must update the boot image and ensure it's been updated on the DPs for it to be effective.
It happens before you get a change to select a TS because its an issue with the boot image itself which must fully load for anything task sequence wise to actually happen.
When testing boot image image issues, always make sure that you know which boot image you are updating and which one was downloaded to the system as its possible they are two different things.
Also, for SP1 CU3, the boot images are based on Win 8 so make sure that you are using Win 8 compatible drivers in the boot image itself.

After installing version 5.1.1 of the Flexmotion driver, and installing f5 update, I got the following message after rebooting the system: The \System Root\System32\drivers\NatMotion.sys device could not locate the entry point IoSetDeviceInterfaceState in driver ntoskernal.exe. OS is Win NT. I see device in MAX , but can not initialise it, and cannot make firmware update.
I do not se device from NT system menager. The instructions on the f5 update are not 100% explicit about what to do for NT. The NatMotion.sys file should not be replaced on NT systems, only on the specifically listed OSes. Uninstall and reinstall the 5.1.1 driver along with the f5 update, however only install the components that do not specifically mention a particular OS.

I can't get past the opening page. If i F8 and select any of the safe mode options, it gives a status of 0xc0000221 and asks for installation discs. I haven't got any. Where can I download to a disc then transfer it to the notebook? Can't remember what windows is loaded (either vista or windows 7) but even XP would be an improvement.
Hi:
Accroding to the product specs for your notebook, it came with Vista Home Basic.
If you can read all 25 characters of the Vista product key on the bottom of your notebook, you can make your own Vista installation disk.
Here's how:
If you're up to a slight but rewarding challenge you can make your own if you can read your 25 character Vista product key on the PC.
Just download the 3 files you need at the link below, and read all of the instructions to create a bootable DVD installation disk using imageburn.
Disregard the part of the text under the first screen shot about "extract the files to the Vista folder."
The files were already extracted to that folder when you ran the X14.exe file by reading the text on top of the first screen shot.
The other thing I noticed is on the 4th screen shot, where it shows Developer ID Microsoft Corporation. I had to type Microsoft Corporation in myself, and then the other codes automatically populated.
When I went to compile the ISO file, ImageBurn gave a message that about a WIM file and ISO, and if I wanted to burn it in a different format.
I selected No, make the ISO file.
It was not that hard to do. I burned both the 64 bit disk and the 32 bit disk in case I ever need them.
I tested both of them on my hp dc7100 CMT desktop PC, they worked perfectly.
When you enter the product key, it knows what version of Vista you have.
http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/software-os/w/microsoft_os/3317.2-3-microsoft-windows-v....
After you successfully install Vista, you can then install the drivers from your PC's support and driver page.

Satellite A60-160: OS loses some files - isapnp.sys, Ntfs.sys
Hello, my name is Daniela.
I'm italian girl and I don't speak english very well.
I have a Toshiba Satellite A-60-160.
Operating system is corrupted because it is lost some files : system32/drivers/isapnp.sys - system32/drivers/Ntfs.sys
I have used the The Recovery Console from dvd-rom toshiba but the problem is here!
Help me ,please!!!Hi Daniela
I dont know how you are familiar with operating system functionality and troubleshooting but if you have no much experience I recommend you to preinstall OS from recovery media again. After that you will have factory settings again and everything will work again (note please that on this way all data will be removed from the HDD).
If you dont want to do these try please to obtain Microsoft full version WXP CD. Put it in DVD drive and boot the unit. After that choose repair option (it starts using R button). I hope that someone can help you about that if you can not do this alone. -
Satellite Pro A60: Windows XP cannot start missing or corrupt driver isapnp.sys
I have had a Satellite Pro A60 for about 3 years without problems.
Last week the Toshiba in Touch screen developed bleeding vertical lines and I got error message 'Windows XP cannot start because of missing or corrupt driver isapnp.sys'. I have tried using recovery disk but this loads OK but then fails to make any difference. Hard disk appears to work OK as slave to another computer.
Any suggestions wil be much appreciated!

Satellite A300-276 - nvraid.sys error on Windows start
Good evening,
I am recently trying to install Windows 7 in my Satellite A300-276. I actually install it but when I want to start it apears a message saying:
"Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix (...)"
and then, in the same page:
"File:\Windows\system32\Drivers\nvraid.sys"
"Status:0xc0000098"
"Info: Windows failed to load because a critical system driver is missing, or corrupt"
Could someone help me with this?
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
AndrI have installed Win7 32bit on my Satellite A300-1LI and on P300D successfully and it runs perfectly.
I don't have time to read the whole thread but what I sugesst you is to install Win7 32bit again and all other stuff following my installations order. It worked for me so I think it should be ok for you too.
Here we go:
Satellite A300 (PSAG8E) and clean Win7
-Win7
-chipset driver
-storage manager
-display driver
-sound driver
-modem driver
-supervisor utility
-infrared
-patches
-configfree
-VAP
-toshiba hardware setup
-HDMI control
-WLAN driver
Everything runs well but some Win7 drivers were missing so I have installed follow Vista stuff.
Added Vista stuff:
-Toshiba assist - work properly
-Card reader - installed properly
-Webcam driver for A500 - tested with Skype - work properly.
-Synaptics driver -
Satellite L300 - Disk.sys error on Windows start up
I got my recovery disk today inserted and after a couple of reboots I managed to to get the Advanced menu F8. I selected option for Safe Mode with command prompt. The window started to load various windows drivers etc. It has now stopped at the line of code with a please wait and has been like this for over 2hours.
Loaded: \windows\system32\drivers\disk.sys
I booted up in VGA mode same
I tried last known good configuration no joy.
what's left for me to do it is obvious that I have a bad driver how do I interrupt the command prompt and run chdisk or check for corrupt drivers etc.
If I have to reload the OS can this be downloaded from microsoft or is it chargeable.
If anyone has any new ideas I would be very grateful need to get this sorted.
thanks
FrancoHi TwoLags,
as you can see from the paper trail I originally could not get into advanced mode the forum suggested I purchased a recovery disk . The disk now allows me to get into F8 and advanced mode if I choose safe mode it scrolls through all the drivers but halts at \windows\system32\drivers\disk.sys with a please wait message in the windows bar.
I have tried booting up in safe mode with cmd prompt same, last known good config dark screen?.
My question is what happens next am I looking at a complete OS reinstall which I don't have windows vista home premium edition 32 bit.
Surely there must be a way of intreput the safe mose cmd and run a disk check to repair any corrupted files etc.
cheers

Bug Check 0xED: UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
When you restart your computer or upgrade to Windows XP, you receive the "STOP 0x000000ED UNMOUNTABL...
Don, this situation can often be repaired by booting to the Recovery Console and running..
chkdsk /r
It runs for a long time.
If you don't have an XP installation CD, you may need a floppy drive.

RDR_FILE_SYSTEM Ksecdd.sys error BSOD
After upgrading PC from Windows 8.1 then to 8.1 updated I receive a BSOD RDR_FILE_SYSTEM KSECDD.SYS only when I log onto Domain, I can Log onto the local PC OK and I can log on to the domain OK if I disconnect the network cable first, sign into domain and
reconnect cable and all is well until I reboot again, and once again I need to disconnect for the LAN sign and reconnect, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated I have included crash dump report.
Probably caused by : ksecdd.sys ( ksecdd+a0f1 )

RDR_FILE_SYSTEM (27)
If you see RxExceptionFilter on the stack then the 2nd and 3rd parameters are the
exception record and context record. Do a .cxr on the 3rd parameter and then kb to
obtain a more informative stack trace.
The high 16 bits of the first parameter is the RDBSS bugcheck code, which is defined
as follows:
RDBSS_BUG_CHECK_CACHESUP = 0xca550000,
RDBSS_BUG_CHECK_CLEANUP = 0xc1ee0000,
RDBSS_BUG_CHECK_CLOSE = 0xc10e0000,
RDBSS_BUG_CHECK_NTEXCEPT = 0xbaad0000,

*** Type referenced: nt!_KPRCB ***Hi,
Did you mean you have installed Windows 8.1 update 1?
But in your dump file, my analyzed results is that rdbss.sys give out the BSOD. Please also noticed that the rdbss.sys version of your computer is 6.3.9600.16384, but if you really installed Update 1 successfully, the version should be 6.3.9600.16493.
At this point, I suggest you restore the system back to the point before Update 1, and then re-get the updates again to check the results.

Satellite A60 crashes and reboot cycle - system32\DRIVERS\Ntfs missing or corrupt
I have a Toshiba Satellite A60 which has recently developed a serious problem and is currently stuck in a crash reboot cycle. It began with the message "system32\DRIVERS\Ntfs missing or corrupt", I have read about this problem on message boards but still am unable to find a fix.
Currently on start up various error messages are displayed stating a driver is missing or corrupt, the Toshiba start up page has vertical lines of missing data and on the few occasions it will fully boot after a short period of time vertical lines appear through the display and it crashes.
I have tried a number of fixes:
* Re installed windows XP pro (formatting the hard drive and renewing the partitions)
* Updating the bios from the toshiba site to version 1.90 (I believe the update also flashes the bios, though would need this confirming?)
* Swapping the hard drive with another laptop, still will not boot and HD works fine in the other laptop, ruling out the missing or corrupt files posibility.
I realise this could be a problem with the RAM and believe the laptop has 512 fixed to the motherboard, inaccesible without stripping down, but am not sure how to determine if RAM is the problem. Whilst trying these fixes I am getting problems with booting from the CD drive and can only get the drive to spin up and recognise the CD about 1 in 10 times.
Could anyone suggest a remedy or fix I may try? or suggest how they fixed a similar problem. Many thanksYou description ssounds not very good ;(
The hardware malfunction seems to be responsible for the vertical lines on the screen
If the vertical lines appear also an external display the board could be wrong.
Youre right, I have googled and it seems the Sat A60 supports an internal memory.
As far as I know such memory cannot be removed and only a electronics technician could solve such internal memory problem.
But are you sure that the internal memory is corrupt. The unit supports only 256MB of internal memory and other modules are removable
So you could try to replace it -
Satellite A60 Power Saver error
Hi all,I have a Satellite A60 and I am getting the following error at start up;"Power Saver A fatal error has occured this program will be terminated code ox2". At various times whilst logged on my notebook turns off and to continue I have to log in again as from start up.Can anyone please help with a solution.Thank you,Mark.
Hi Mark
The only thing that you can try is to remove power saver and try to install it again. It is also possible that this will not help because there are some entries in the registry. If there is no problem for you the best way is to reinstall the unit with recovery CD. After that it will work again properly.
In my opinion it is not easy to repair some specific tools like power saver. -
Toshiba Satellite A60-S156 Drivers
I've recently reinstalled windows on a Toshiba Satellite A60-S156. This computer was a gift and I do not know if it came with a CD for the drivers. I've checked the main site for driver downloads, but I did not see the model number for this laptop.
Are there drivers out there for this model of laptop? (The laptop is running Windows XP Service Pack 2)Click on the Product Support link at the top of this page
Click on the BLUE TEXT LINK that states Show All Models to display older systems
Enter in your information (and I verified that yours is there)
Click on the Download Tab

If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time. -

Hi I've been asked to create a CD ROM Presentation in Flash/Director which allows the user to select pages from the full version to re-package as a cut-down version that can be shown to target audiences. (They don't need to be able to edit text etc.
