Normally after ordering you get a confirmation email and I think it takes some days until you receive the recovery disk. Maybe you must wait some days more

Satellite M70 - Can't install from recovery disk

Hi,
I had to remove the HDD from Toshiba Satellite M70 to use it on my Compaq laptop (Compaq HDD crashed). I had to install XP and other stuff after creating 2 partions and used it with Compaq Laptop without any problem. Now I got a new HDD for compaq and fixed the Toshiba HDD back in.
Using the recovery CD I wanted to restore the Toshiba to its original state.
I have the Product recovery DVD-rom. F12 abd selecting cd/dvd would not do the recovery.
Error loading operating system is the message I get.
I can even install with my other original XP pro cd.
Once I put the HDD back to Compaq its working fine, I can even install XP.
What is the cause. Is it has to do anything with MBR?
I am very familiar with computers so please give me a way out of this!

In my opinion the case is clear. If you can install the notebook with a normal Microsoft installation disk and the HDD works properly in another computer its something wrong with the Toshiba recovery disk, maybe its scratched.
What you can do is to install the notebook using the Microsoft disk. Then download and install all drivers from the Toshiba website.
Alternative you order a new recovery disk from an authorized service provider.
Its your choice what you do. ;)

Looking for Recovery disk for my Satellite A355D-S6921

I can't start win7 anymore on my Satellite A355D-S6921, it reboots automatically before login screen. I tried to press the "0"(zero) Key, but no recovery options, nothing happens. I also tried to restore the drive to an earlier point using F8 options, but an error message comes up before finalization. I've pretty much tried anything I could find on forums, but it stills restart. I believe my solution is to use a recovery CD, but I don't have one, and I can't run windows to create one.
Please I would be really happy if someone could create one from his/her Satellite A355D, and Megaupload a Disk IMG !
Here are the steps to create a recovery Disk:
1 Click Start, All Programs, Toshiba, Recovery, and then
Recovery Disc Creator.
2 Select DVD (to create Recovery media on DVDs).
3 Select the items you want to copy by clicking the check box
next to the items Namerecovery files, applications (original
bundled drivers and applications), or both the recovery files
and applications.
4 Click Create.
5 Insert the first blank DVD into your writable optical drive
when prompted.
6 Follow the on-screen prompts for completing the copy process.

I agree with the previous user. If HDD recovery doesnt work you have to use the Toshiba recovery disk. Now its too late for creating this disk and you it would be better posting this in US forum. I think in US forum are more people with US notebooks.
If you dont want to wait for somebodys help get in contact with an authorized service provider in your country. The guys can help you to order such a disk.

Satellite A660-047 - Missing drivers for WAN Miniport

I have a Toshiba Satellite A660-047 PSAW3C-047017 running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.
I just downloaded the ISO for Norton Ghost 15, created the installation CD, installed Ghost, and ran the driver validation from the installation CD. I got the following message:

From a bit of googling, it seems it is more of a higher level interface than an actual hardware device. I'm not really sure what it's used for, or how likely I will miss it in the event of a recovery. Is this something I should spend time worrying about right away?

I deinstalled the Programm "Recovery Disc Creator" accidentally. But the Folder with the Win Vista Recovery Disc Informations are still in my Computer. Now i want you to help me in creating a Recovery Disc. My System is very unstable. So i want to re install it. I hope you can help me.

Sorry but why did you uninstall the recovery disk creator?
However, now you can’t create the recovery disk because you have uninstalled the program for creating the disk.
The only way I know is you use the HDD recovery option to reinstall your notebook. You can use this if you go to the advanced boot menu (F8 before Windows is booting), choose repair my computer and then select the Toshiba HDD recovery function.
Normally you get this message if you start your notebook at the first time:

+your system is equipped with hard disk recovery system. if you need to repair+
+your computer by restoring it to original factory state, you can do it directly+
+from harddisk (press F8 when you boot your computer, choose "Repair your computer"+

Material staging should be allowed following the Release of the Production Order.
Then, as an example, you could have your first operation in the order (OP10) to Consume Materials. This will then backflush the materials in the PSA (Production Supply Area) that the staged materials were taken to. Ensure that the materials are set for Backflushing in the material master in MRP2.
If the OP10 is confirmed before materials have been staged then they will not appear in the LP12 staging report.
It's all about timing

Order Status for Order Rel. Billing

Hi All,
I am trying to create an Order relevant billing doc (proforma invoice) which should update the Sales order status in the Document Flow after Billing is created. I mean the Sales should get completed after billing.
I have maintained the Item category as relevant for billing with billing relevance as D (Relevant for Proforma Inv.) but the order status is Open after creating a Proforma Invoice.
Please let me know the solution so that I can implement the same if ok. Though I am using a proforma invoice I can also use another billing doc type if this can help which gets released to accounting.

Infact,billing is created as per the "Billing relevance" value (order realted,delivery related etc) in the Item category of Sales document.
If the item is relevant for delivery(i.e, item category, billing relevance is delivery related),then once you deliver the order completely, then only the status of the Sales order gets completed which you can see in the document flow also.
Similarly, Delivery gets completed status when Billing document is created with reference to this Delivery.
If the item category is relevant for order related billing like in services, there is no physical delivery created. Here the subsequent process of Sales order is Billing.
So, in this case when the order is billed completely then the order will get completed status.
But,irrespective of the "Billing relevance"(order related or delivery related), creation of Proforma Invoice does not update the status of the reference document.This is controlled from copy control as I have already mentioned in my earlier post.
Proforma Invoice is a dummy invoice.

Satellite L350D - WLAN not working after recovery disk

Hello there
I just got a L350D. I ran the Recovery Disk tool, without any other programm running. It was on a good way of finishing the second disk and than: BAM! blue screen. Since the start up, my LAN and WLAN is not working.
It always says "WLAN 2.0 bg Adapter" to which no driver is found. The correct driver is a Realtek for both WLAN and LAN.
Do you think the crash busted the WLAN and LAN module?
Things i tried:
System reset
Driver reinstall
but nothing worked.
Has anyone any hints?

I dont know what the reason is for this BSOD during the installation but can you post the BSOD code? So you can search on the Microsoft Knowledge Base for this code.
Furthermore I would try to update the BIOS of your notebook that you can find on the Toshiba website:
http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com => Support & Downloads => Download Drivers
After you have updated the BIOS try to update the driver of WLAN and LAN card or try to reinstall Windows again using the Toshiba recovery disk.

No Order Status For 12 Hours

I placed an order of Xbox One Assassin's Creed Bundle with Extra Controller and I used paypal to pay. But my paypal had the old billing address, I updated it to new billing address after buying the xbox one.
My paypal has been pending for 12hours at least, it is still not processed I think. And I can't find my order status even with my order number.
Can someone check if my order is processing or not?

Blue hp circle on black screen, can\'t access boot options for recovery disk

I installed Symantec full disk encryption and encrypted the hard drive. Then I restarted the pc. I get a black screen with a blue HP logo in the center. Message at the bottom right sysa press the ESC key for startup menu, but no key works. Every key pressed gets a beeping sound. If I turn power off and then on and press the different f keys, I get different messages but still no response from any keys.
Symantec sent me a recover disk to deencrypt the drive but I can't get the pc to load from the drive. Any thoughts?. I have hard reset the pc twice ( battery and power cord out, hold power button for 30 seconds)

I would remove the hard disk and then power up the notebook to see what response the BIOS has.
From your description of the problem, it sounds as if you may have encrypted the entire disk instead of just the C: volume or the BIOS ROM file is corrupt.
You should be able to get past the HP screen to enter the BIOS.
The BIOS should give complain that it cannot find a drive with a bootable OS.
If that does happen, and you have the recovery disk set or usb recovery media, life is good and you will need to take a look at the Symantek forum to see how to proceed with your encrypted disk.
If it does not then, the problem lies with the BIOS on the system board.
Pressing the Esc key and having the startup menu appear is conditional on the BIOS being in good condition. Yours may be corrupt. Try downloading a BIOS softpaq on another PC, extracting the BIOS ROM file and putting it on the root of a usb thumbdrive. Put the thumbdrive in a USB port in the notebook. Press the power button and immediately hold down the Windows key and begin tapping the B key. If this works and you see an led flash, release the keys and wait. the process should load a clean BIOS file to replace the corrupted one. This takes time, so be patient if you see a flashing led or no reaction from the notebook for a couple of minutes.
Post your results here and we can move on to the next steps you can take.
