Satellite C640-i4010 - warranty for purchase from online store

Hi there,
I had to purchase a laptop Satellite C640-i4010 from flipkart.com.
Site states that 1 year carry-in warranty will be provided.
Then i talked to toshiba customer care but the executive told me that toshiba has not authorised any online reseller.
Flipkart .com personels every time say that they have agrement with toshiba but that is confidential and i have believe their verbal assurance.
I am confused now. No one is able to solve my dillema.

But fact is that you can purchase a additional warranty directly from Toshiba and i would recommend doing that.

I have a toshiba satellite c640-i4010.

Dc 19v 3.42A
Serial no XXXXXXXXX
The problem is i can't do anything with this. My laptop starts with a loud beep noice. After that nothing happens. Windows is not loading. I checked bios and set it to default. Also checked boot priority. I cant even install any other os. It ends up with beep sound and blank screen. But i can install any os and load the os installed if i press 'c' after showing toshiba logo(i saw in toshiba support discuss) . But every time doing this really sucks. If i load my os using above mentioned method, when i restart same thing is to be repeated. Also my bios always shows help when i enter to it (Haven't seen it before.). Windows also shows 'help and support' every time i logon. Please help me out. Thanks in advance.

That doesn't appear to be a US model, and this is the forums for Toshiba USA. You may want to contact Toshiba in your region. If it's a European model, you could check the Toshiba Europe forums.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.

All my itunes library has disappeared except for songs I purchased from itunes store. My playlists have also disappeared.

Thanks, varjak, it is too easy to fall into use of jargon assuming everyone understands what it means.
One additional point in all of this, not all "iDevice" apps run on every "iDevice". Some are customized for a specific device, or class of devices such as the iPod/iPhone with their smaller screen. Others for just the iPads for their larger screens. So the user needs to be sure they are getting an app that will work on their specific device.
And to Phoneboone, you do need to purchase the app again if it is for a different class of equipment. When you are looking at apps such as iWorks for the Mac and iWorks components for the iPad, the iPad versions are very inexpensive. Pages is only $10 (US) which is really cheap for such a good word processor that reads and saves in the MS Word format.
Anyway, search for what you need and just enjoy the convenience of so many options for apps.

If you are looking at the front page of the App Store and you are seeing the "downloading" message on the right under Quick Links.
Try this... Go into the "Purchases" section in the top bar of the App Store find ML in the list you are presented with. Does it say Resume? If so click the button and it will change to Pause. You may have paused it previously and forgot.
If not then do as Csound1 suggested and simply wait for it to finish

If the tracks were not in your iTunes library on your computer when you subscribed to match, I am afraid that they are lost. Do you have a separate back up of this music?

You don't have a contract with AT&T for an iPad. If you signed up for an AT&T data plan (only possible from the iPad itself, to the best of my knowledge) AT&T's iPad plan is a month-to-month and can be cancelled at any time through the same settings you used to sign up.

I bought my macbook at Turkey but now I live in UK, when I want to purchase smt from Itunes store, it says I could only make purchases from Turkish store, is there a way I could change the store? There are stuff I want to buy but I can't because of my Apple ID and the purchase restriction

Yes, as Lanny says, accounts are specific to the country. You would need to open a UK account to use the UK app store which would also mean you would need a UK residential address for billing purposes and a credit card supported by a UK bank.
Remember, too. Any apps purchased through your Turkish account can only be updated using the details from that account. Apps are not transferable and Apple does not allow accounts to be merged.
