Satellite C650 - graphics driver update

Hi all i'm new to this forum and i've been trying to update my graphics but i'm not having any luck, can someone tell me how to do this please, the version i have is 8.15.10.2086.
I've had my laptop for awhile now but never done an update of the graphics drivers.

Generally speaking you should use Toshiba drivers only and drivers for upgrade/update you can find on Toshiba support page - http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp
Is there some reason for driver update? Are you not satisfied with graphic performance?

I have the same question. Cant find any answers from NVidia or from Apple websites or forums.
I am running 10.8.5 and not at all happy with the performance.
It seems like Apple may not be supporting updates for this Graphics cards? Since it is not that old, this would be pretty negligent on their part.

Snow Leopard is no longer being updated, 10.6.8, was the last update. So, a "really long time," will be forever.
Yes, ML has graphic driver updates, but since there is no way to guess whether it impacts your unmentioned hardware, there is no way your question can be answered.

Satellite C660 Graphics Driver Won't Update

I currently have the 8.15.10.2189 version of the Intel HD Graphics Driver and want to update to 8.15.10.2353 Driver but every time I download, unzip the file and open the file, it will Extract and asks "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer" I click "Yes" and then it just disappears and nothing happens at all. I have waited a long time to see if anything comes up but nothing happens.
Any info on why it isn't updating would be great.
I have also noticed that the same Driver Version on different Toshiba Satellite models has a different file size, I was wondering if I should download and try to install these on my C660 as I presume they would all the the same Driver Update. I just don't know why they would be a different file size.

As I can see only version 8.15.10.2189 is available for your notebook.
Where did you find 8.15.10.2353 version for your notebook model?
With RAM is everything OK.

Satellite Pro L300: x3100 and Intel 965 chipset graphics driver update

Has anyone else installed the Intel 7.15.10.1666 driver, dated 26/02/2009 for the Mobile 965 chipset? Here's their web page for getting to the download:

For some reason unknown to me, Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 doesn't work with the Intel auto driver update (the download with the exe file). Therefore I followed their instructions for a manual install (the download with the zip file).
My laptop is working just fine with this new driver, and there is a definite improvement in the transitions between images when using the Windows presentation option (slideshow).
This new driver also installs 3 graphics programs from Intel:
Hotkeys for display management
System tray access
TV wizard
I used Windows Defender to remove these 3 from programs that automatically load at system startup to keep a fast boot time and not load unnecessary programs into memory. This hasn't caused me any problems.

Who knows maybe it has not been checked, approved and tested by Toshiba?
As far as I know every notebook manufacturers test and approve the drivers before they will be released on the driver pages

Are there any graphic driver updates for Satellite L850-162

Are there any driver updates available for the L850-162?
I'm just running with the ones that came installed with the laptop but the display is pixellated and jumpy when watching video.
Any help/advice would be much appreciated

Sat L850-162 is a part of the PSKDGE and it has been equipped with an Intel HD (INTEL HM76) Express chipset (graphic chip)
There are more Toshiba series which use the same chipset so you could also use the drivers released for such notebook models.
For example:
C850 PSKC8E
C855 PSKC8E
C870 PSC8EE
L830 PSK84E
L870 PSKBGE
P850 PSPKBE
and others
At least you could also try to use the Intel HD HM76 driver from the Intel page.

Satellite C660-23M - graphic driver update issue

New to this forum so dont know if this problem has been covered.
Have installed Photoshop elements 11 and premier elements 11.
The elements program runs ok but cannot get get premier elements to open new project. Adobe advised trying to update drivers which I have tried without success.
When running driver update on laptop it says latest driver installed. 8.15.10.2189
On checking Toshiba update site it shows later version 8.15.10.2353.
Have downloaded this ,I then unzipped it and it says will start automatic installation when finished but nothing happens.
Have tried several times but once unzipped it will not install.
Any help would be appreciated and infact confirmation of latest driver.

Satellite C660 - 1F1 Graphic Driver Update?

I've been trying to get a game called Football Manager 2008 to work on this laptop for a long time. I've trawled the Internet for a solution to my problems running it, but I haven't found anything that works for me. In fact, the majority of the time, the problem seems to be solved by the person updating their graphics driver.
I've been trying to find an update that works for me, but I've not found anything so far.
Anyone shed any light on this?

From my knowledge the notebook supports the Intel HD graphic card (IntelHM55)
So latest driver can be downloaded from Intel page directly.

For a machine that is still being sold, albeit with Optimus now instead of the switchable unit that Im guessing someone in Lenovo figured out was mega faulty with overheating etc.
Even so, whilst I wait for a solution to get this laptop swapped out, be nice if we got some new drivers for it.
I know this is a community forum, so this is not a direct ask to Lenovo staff, I'm just putting it out there for other users to either agree with or disagree with.

now it's nearly 1 year ago that the Switchable driver was updated. The Optmus driver on the download site is almost new but cannot be used for the switchable models (why that?).
So please Lenovo, I received my new machine 1 week ago and the only complaint so far is the graphics driver (and at least power consumption on battery with integrated graphics).

OpenGL3.3+ Update? Edit: Radeon HD6490M switchable graphics driver update Windows 7?

So I recently purchased a game that requires me to run OpenGL3.3 or more. Currently I can do OpenGL3.1, and after poking around some I see no reason why my graphics cards couldn't support it. Do I need to download something for OpenGL, or do my drivers need to be updated? (HP Support says they don't but I'm skeptical). Any help/advice is appreciated. Also, I was poking around this old question, but couldn't do squat with it... quite new at all this after all... Edit: I've been looking more, and it seems that the answer would be an updated graphics driver. The problem is, I'm not sure if there is one (Again, HP Support, etc. says I don't need one...). I have a dv6t-6100, with Radeon HD 6490M switchable graphics on Windows 7, 64-bit. It sounds like others have had luck updating their drivers just by the virtue of running on Windows 8 rather than 7. Any suggestions, work-arounds, other drivers that might similarly work for me?

So after updating to Windows 10, what I was trying to do originally works now that my video drivers have finally updated. Doesn't solve the original problem exactly, and I continue to wonder why HP kept me in the dark on these updates...

Premiere Elements 10 - HD Graphics Driver Update - Error Message

I recently got an error message advising me to update my intel HD graphics driver; I updated 5 months ago - all worked well; now I'm getting the message again, however windows says my drivers are up to date and cannot be updated - but Premiere Elements keeps asking for an updated driver; now, the edit sytem performance is horrible and I get a white screen everytime I attempt to playback video from the edit timeline. Any Solutions?

Thanks for the reply. The deletion of the BadDrivers.txt file is your best opportunity for a resolution. So, let us pursue that.
If you have Premiere Elements 10 on Windows 7 64 bit, the BadDrivers.txt file is there. But....in your attachments, you show
Program Files
Program Files (x86)
and no signs of Program Data where you must start in the path to the BadDrivers.txt file.
a. Could you be using Windows 7 32 bit?
or
b. Are you working with Folder Options Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives active so that you can see the complete path cited.
In Windows 7 64 bit,
Click on Start
In the Search field that appears above Start, type in Folder Options.
Folder Options text will appear at the top of that left column for you to click on.
Clicking on Folder Options will bring up its dialog.
Click on the View Tab of the Folder Options dialog.
Then scroll down the list of options under View until you reach Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives,
and make sure that it is selected.
Program Data should appear in the lineup which includes Program Files and Program Files (x86).
Please let us know the outcome.

Intel HD Graphics Driver Update

I have an HP Pavillion g7 Notebook with Radeon HD 6470M graphics. I was prompted to udate the graphics driver through HP assistant. I have downloaded it 3 times and each time it will not install. When it gets to the install part it gives me a warning that my internet security is shut off and then gives me an installation failure. If I go to the AMD website to get the update it says I have to do it through the manufacturer of my laptop. Anyone know why I cannot install this update?

Hi:
You should ignore any Microsoft updates or ANY update (from HP, Microsoft or AMD) for the Intel video in your PC.
The only driver you can install in your notebook is the AMD driver from your notebook's support and driver page, which also installs the Intel video driver.
The problem is happening because these auto updates don't know that you have switchable graphics and it is detecting an older version of the Intel video driver and wants to install a newer version.
The problem is the AMD driver on your PC's support and driver page only supports the older Intel video driver and trying to install it will either not work or will mess up your video.
Nor can you use any driver directly from AMD. None of those have the Intel driver needed for the switchable graphics to work.
So, you can hide the update, ignore the update, whatever setting you need to select to not see or install it.
If you see an HP update specifically for the AMD/Intel switchable graphics in your notebook, you can install that.

Graphics driver update for HP Pavillion DV6 - 2157wm

I am new to this community and i really need help guys. I need an updated driver for my laptop DV6-2157wm. Its having intel hd graphics builtin in laptop and on hp site, the driver is still of 2009. No new driver update has been provided by HP. What the heck they are doing? Why are they not updating the driver? Any guidance regarding this problem will be really appreciated from you guys

AG270-02QC040US 970m graphics driver update??

I just received the above mentioned computer and there doesn't seem to be any updates for the graphics driver? it's currently on 344.11. My laptop is up to 347.88 and I've also tried to manually download and install newer drivers?? anyone else having an issue with this?

Graphics Driver update for TravelMateP653-M not available?

I have an Intel(r) HD Graphics 4000, and I need to update it but everytime I download from Intel directly it says 'you have a modified version please ask your equipment manufacturer for updated drivers'. I need the update to continue to play a few games, but no matter what I do or where I go I can't seem to find current graphic card updates that will actually install. The website has no driver downloads for graphics cards on this model and it's getting a bit frustrating, does anyone have a solution?

prior to install Intel VGA drivers, you need to uninstall the Acer Intel VGA drivers. you can check if they are available to uninstall on Programs and features or going to Device manager, click on Display adapters, right click on Intel VGA and choose to uninstall (if it asks about uninstall software, say OK to this option).Once done, you can install the Intel drivers from Intel website.
