Satellite L300 - I can't turn up the volume for a low battery

My english is not very well.
I have a Toshiba notebook L300 Satellite
My problem is that i can't turn up the volume for a low battery
Is there any one who knows how i can resolve it?

I think you want to enable the sound notification when battery gets empty.
Is it right?
Well, you can do this in Vista Power settings
I assume you are using the Vista OS and therefore this battery notification can be enabled in Vista Power settings.

There you can find the settings for battery. Its called Low battery level
Check it.

Satellite A660 How can i turn off the lighting of the power button?

Hello, I recently bought a new Toshiba A660-1FL.
However bothers me is the lighting of the multimedia keys, if I work in the dark.
In Bios I could turn off the led illumination, but the power on/off button is still lighting,that distracts me when i am working.
This notebook has two power LED, so the power on lighting is in my opinion, unnecessary.
My question is: How can i turn off the lighting of the power button?

Yes in fact, the difference is color, design, but also location and brightness of the LED.

I was today at a local electronics store, and saw that Toshiba has the brightest Power LED on A660, but why it must be placed under the LCD and not in the front as in my old notebook Toshiba A210.
I also had the idea with a tape, but it would look ugly, and it must be removable without residue.
P.S. Also the fingerprints on the glossy keyboard do not look nice.

How can I turn up the volume of music on my ipod? how about with I-trip?

I have certain songs that just do not get loud enough to hear and I am not sure why. They come out just fine if I put them on a cd and play them that way. Hi Kat, welcome to the fourms.
Have you tryed turing up the volume on your iPod itself? Or turning up the volume in the car?
There is another way to adjust the volume. If you go into iTunes. Right click on a song. Then you can select "get info". When that pops up, select "Options", then you can adjust the volume there.
If you want to do it to your entire library, or a ig ammount of songs. Select the entire list of songs that you want, then right click and get info. A box should pop up saying something like "You are about to edit info for multiple songs. Do you want to continue", then click yes, and you can adjust multiple songs that way.

HT5622 On Itunes when I listen to my music I can't turn up the volume at all it's on but only at a certain level I turn it up any higher. On my computer i can turn up the volume but not on i tunes even if I click it to be higher i goes back.

the volume for i tunes wont change it stays at a constant volume it wont let me turn it up or down. I can pause though.

How are you trying to play them, in the iTunes store or the Music and Videos apps ? Downloaded and synced music and videos should be in the Music and Videos apps, and you can stop content that is only in the cloud from showing in them via Settings > iTunes & App Store > Music and Videos 'off' (under the 'show all' heading).
If you don't have your music and films/TV shows in those two apps then you should be able to download them into those apps via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app.

Can I turn off the monitor for Mac Mini and use it as a music server?

I am in the process of upgrading my PC most likely to a Mac product. With the non-server version of Mac OS X, can I turn off the monitor connected to a Mac Mini and use it as a streaming server? Or I have to get the server version of OS X to do that?

I plan to run Logitech Media Server on the Mac to stream music to players. Each player interacts with the Logitech Media Server to select songs to stream. When I turn on a player, it will wake up the computer from the sleep mode.
Currently, this Logitech Media Server runs on a Windows Vista machine and it will keep the PC from entering sleep mode while playing the songs. After I play the last song, the PC will start the idle count down and then enter into sleep mode.

Hello, please can you tell me how to turn off the volume limiotr on my ipod nano? I want to play it on a docking station and it just isn't as loud as I want it to be. An old ipod is much louder.

I tend to select things from left to right and every time I am moving in a downward right diagonal motion during lasso selection I am missing a clear view and I am tending to have a more sloppy selection. All this does is slow me down since I need to go back and hit those areas again. The big arrowhead just get's in the way. The original lasso tool with the thin line and small active point at it's lower left was far better for me.
I don't like turning the cursors to precise because I like to see the active tool icon where my cursor is and as the icon changes as I hold modifier keys down. If I am forced to get comfortable with using pricise cursors I guess I will, but man, I've never had to do this in my 15 years of photoshop use...
I would absolutely LOVE to find a way to get the old lasso icon -- without the arrowhead above it.
Is there any chance this option could be inlcuded in cursor preferences? I'd give much thanks, Adobe.

You can assign a silent ringtone to that one person. Google to find such a ringtone, sync it to the phone, assign the custom ringtone to this person and when they call, the phone will appear not to ring.

Ahh, think about it a moment. It's called "maximum" for a reason.
If you want louder sound connect a set of powered external speakers.
