Satellite L300/L300D starts to be very hot when I'm playing games

Hello I have a notebook Toshiba Satellite L300/L300D
Turion dual core Rm-74
2048mb ram 800 mhz/ +2048mb
250gb Hdd 5400rpm Sata
15Wxga trubrite tft screen
dvd super multi drive 2 layer
w-lan 802.11b/g
web camera bought from Spain , Lanzarote and has one year and i didn't had problems until now but in the last 2 months i had this problem
the computer start to heat very much when i am playing a game and after it stops completely , and i need to let it cool down a little bit before i can start again .
What do you think is the problem ?

It is not easy to say for sure what the problem is but first step for you should be notebook clean up.
Maybe is a lot of dust inside and dust blocks cooling grill.
When the notebook cannot be cooled down properly hardware temperature reaches critical level pretty soon and notebook will switch down without any warning or message.

I just bought a macbook pro 2.3 GHZ i7 with retina display. It gets very hot when running just about anything of substance. When I run a game like candy crush, the temperature can get to 167 or more. I installed istat menus and started monitoring it. I did notice that the fans never went on but after istats I was able to make them come on. Without having a game going, the temperatures hover around 100. Once the game starts, it goes crazy.
I don't really know what the problem could be or if this is normal (it really can't be....This is way too hot). I have owned the computer for about 2 months and I need to know what to do.

The CPU and GPU generate a lot of heat when you are playing graphic intensive games.
Remove the casing/sleeve if possible.

I'm on a page, click a link it goes to the site but then nothing. I have to refresh in order to see or do anything. Annoying when playing a game and worrying when trying to purchase something or pay bills.

The files listed are: cookies.sqlite cookies.sqlite.bak cookies.sqlite.bak-rebuild. I tried deleting the cookies.sqlite file but I think the cookies.sqlite.bak-rebuild rebuilds it. In any case when I reopened firefox It was the same I still have to sign in all the time.

MBP's just run vicious hot. i have woken up too many nights with mine burning my crotch. has to be some long term effects from that... you need to just manage the problem by keeping it raised on a cooling platform. i have gone as far as filling a ziplock baggie with crushed ice, and running the machine on the ice pack. best to be sure there is air that can pass below the machine when operating.

The heat generated by the system is directly related to the load put on the system and the speed of the fans.
The former (high CPU load) generates heat, the latter (fan speed) dissipates it.
If your machine is getting hot then either some process is consuming lots of CPU power, causing more heat to be generated, or your fans are not working properly to dissipate whatever heat is being generated.
So the first question is whether your fans speeds kick into high gear or not? if they don't then it could indicate a hardware problem, either with broken fans, or with broken temperature sensors that control the fan speed.
If the fans do come on but the system is still getting hot then I'd look for a software issue - some process that's running rampant. It should be easy to spot with something like /Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor. There should be a lot of processes listed, but most should use just a few percentage points of CPU power. If any process is using a lot of CPU power then it warrants some investigation - what is that process? should it be running? Is it failing in some way. Post the results of your Activity Montor report and I'm sure someone can chime in.

It is normal to an extent for the iPhone to get warm during charging. If your iPhone is currently in a case, you may want to try charging it without one and see if the issue occurs, as the design of the iPhone uses the exterior of the device as a cooling surface. Are you saying that your machine does or is it an enquiry before buying ? I use a 2011 server model - well, it does get hot over a period of time, but I've very rarely heard the fan kick in, its a surprise when it does. As far as I know the casing has been specifically designed to conduct heat, rather than having any fancy grilles and so on, being so small in size. I haven't found it to be cause for concern, if that's any help.
