Satellite L350 overheating - cleaned out, new paste but still overheating (70C)

Hi, I have a Satellite L350 with Pentium Dual core T3200. I have an overheating problem. I stripped it down, removed motherboard, cleaned fan and heatsink, reapplied paste (Artic silver ceramique) but still getting temps of about 67 to 70C with virtually no load on processor. Any ideas what should I do, please?
All suggestions gratefully accepted.

If the shop you bought it from is a bestbuy or future shop they will charge $450+ for that kind of service. But if they have a reputable repair shop like Newegg, NCIX or memoryexpress then they hopefully can do it in 1 hr and charge $50/hr or even better.. do it under your warranty!

What exactly dod you have and have you done?
What version of iPhoto did you have and what version do you now have? Of the OS? If you are upgrading from iphoto '08 or earlier did you download and RUN the iphoto library upgrader?

What is "it" and what is "windows"?

- I would start with
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- Then do the other actions of:

paying special attention to item #5
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

You may want to try this.
Solution A
Start up your MBP while pressing Option (alt)|, Command, P, R until your hear 3 chimes rather than 2 as indicated by apple. This worked for me the first time.
Solution B
Start your MBP while pressing Option (alt), Command, S
Hold until you see the computer automatic routine. When it finally stops type the following followed by "return":
fsck -fy
It will probably indicate some problem related to "pcscd.pub" (should be 16 instead of 17). I haven't figured out what this means but somewhere in the Internet i read it is related to scan cards...
More importantly this routine will fix any problems with your HDD similarily to disk repair. When it ends, it will tell you if it has fixed/modified anything. If it has, run the routine again by typing again "fsck -fy"
Lastly, reboot by typing "reboot" (followed by "return")
Solution C
Start up your MBP while pressing option (alt), command, S
hold keys until you see computer commands scrolling
when the routine stops type the following, each line followed by the "return" key:
mount -uw /
chmod 775 /
chmod 1775 /
reboot
After which your computer should reboot on it's own.
Each of the above has worked for me at one time or another. Once your computer has rebooted from the DVD you can reinstall OS X. If your problems started after installing 10.5.6, then I don't suggest updating until 10.5.5.
I'm very very disappointed with my 2007 MBP, it started to give me problems after 1 year. had to change the HDD and lately when I isntalled 10.5.6 it suddenly refused to start up., My previous Mac laptop (2003 866Mhz) worked for 4 years without a hitch. Ironically I've had to use it to access the internet and find solutions for my current MBP.

I have the 4s. I have recently restored my settings and cleaned out the ports. I still cannot hear my audio for music or videos. My volume on the side of the phone does not work either. Everything workds in the setting menu. It is not a speaker issue because the ringtone works when people are calling and I can listen to the different ringtones as well. My notifications and text message audio does not work. My phone does not say that it is on a dock. When I try listening to music, the volume adjustment appears, but it is gray and unusable. Everything works when headphones are in plugged in and when it is on the dock. This started with the last iPhone update. What else can I do... this is becoming very frustrating.

Really strange problem you have there. I have a few questions though.
Please try again and try to make the phone as a new without restoringen with you iCloud-data or backup-data from iTunes. Maybe it is something wrong with the data (strange).
Anyway, i think you should call Apple Support or visit an Apple Store, don't forgot to make a Genius Bar reservation.

Satellite L350 - Doesn't ready CD's but DVD's

I've got a problem with my Satellite L350. It does not read any CD`s but DVD`s work fine.
Anybody have any ideas?

Forget these filters.
Remove optical disc drive from device manager and restart your notebook.
The drive will be recognized and installed again.
Test the functionality with original medias. Be sure you don't use some not readable copy protected music CDs. If the situation is the same contact nearest authorized service provider and ask for help.
Of course as last step you can test functionality with factory settings but at first you must reinstall OS.

Satellite L350-277 - Update of new BIOS and Wifi driver

TEMPRO has given me 2 new drivers but neither has instructions.
BIOS installation used to be an operation involving copying the driver to a disc and then changing the boot-up order to start with that disc.
However I think the new BIOS drivers are installed with Windows running - as a normal program. Anyone know for sure ?
I assume the wifi driver is a normal install, with wifi switched on or off ?

Is a WLan driver update and BIOS update necessary?
I mean; do you have any problems with your notebook where such update would be required?
You should not update this if everything is OK. in most case the Tempro notifies you about drivers and tools which are uploaded to the driver page but this is not a recommendation for an update you know what I mean???
I follow always this tip; never change a running system.

Users moved out of POWL but still it is running and consume memory.

We are on SRM6.0 and we have issues with POWL session close. Some users runs POWL w/o any selection which inturns run the POWL forever. While users logoff from the system but still the POWL is running in system and consume lots of memory in system. I am looking the ways to kills the session automatically once the users logoff or close the portal. Do let me know if you have any inputs.

regarding your BBP_DOCUMENT_tab- invoice entry - leave as it is . it may harm your business object. you can delete it after some 2 years. Even SAP dont recommend to delete. some accident happen during that time. SRM system is very robust in this matter. CLean job verifies the docuemnt .if any changes happened by the enduser before running the clean job. it makes the entry. Indeed it is not SAP problem. whenever enduser /procurement department made mistake , this entries are sticked permanently. This is my opinion.
regarding your new UOM query
SMOF_DOWNLOAD report helps to transfer ..
whenever you change any UOM on Material master and immediately updates in SRM by CRM*table settings.
