Satellite L450D - Need Wireless driver for Linux system

Hi,
I have a satellite L450D, with a Realtek RTL8191SE wireless card (windows 7). I use Linux for college and i can't get on the internet when i use linux cause the oporating system dose not find my wireless card.
When i check from command line for wireless cards, it shows that there are non.
I know other people that had this problem and basically i need a driver for it.
Can any one let me know what driver i need or where to get it? I would really appriciate this as i need to use Linux for college.

I googled a little bit and found some tips in the internet.
It seems that there is no Linux driver for Realtek WLan card rtl8191se and rtl8192se.
Bu someone has managed the WLan installation by installing ndiswrapper from synaptic in Ubuntu + GUI. He downloaded the W2K driver net8192se.sys and net8192se.inf.
The W2k driver work but the combination driver W2Kxp or the xp or vista doesnt work.
After that you can use WPA because WEP encryption is not supported

The notebook seems to support Realtek Wlan card RTL8191SE.
You can find the drivers here:
http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/?page=downloads
In order to install this you have firstly download the driver package, then unzip the package.
In the driver package the exe file should be available. Execute this exe file and the installation should proceeds.

I have a Satelite Pro U400, PSU413. It recently died a blue screen death and has since had to be formated and reinstalled.
I am having a problem installing the wireless drivers.
The ones listed under the downloads section for this model do not work and the user of the laptop will be lost without wireless.

so i bought i new laptop and I cant find a wireless driver. I tryed toshibas driver but it wouldnt work, please help me. My wireless card is 802.11b/g/n i beleve.

WLAN card inside is ATHEROS B/G/N(1X1)WB225 W/BT(NON AMT).
Have you tested it with right Atheros WLAN driver?

Hi: Please do the following steps so I can figure out what model wireless card your notebook has, and I will then post the link to the driver you need for it... Go to the device manager and click on the device labeled Network Controller that needs the drivers. Then click on the Details tab at the top of the network controller window. Now you see a Property drop down list and it is defaulted to Device Description. Drop down on that and select the 3rd item on the list (Hardware ID's). Post the top string of characters that begin with PCI\VEN. Then I will post the link to the driver you need.

Need wireless driver for Satellite P70-A-129

Hello to the Community.
I have reached a dead-end and after hours of efforts I need your input.
I have installed Windows 7 x64 on my Satellite P70-A-129 and although
I have downloaded all relevant drivers from the official support page,
and tried them all (Atheros/Qualcomm, Intel, Realtek)
the Wireless adapter is not functional as none of the drivers seems to be
the one needed.
All other subsystems/drivers are fully functional. I would enormously appreciate any
input as to where to look/what to do next.

Yes, BT installed without problems.
Intel driver, Intel Proset application, Realtek driver, all installed without problems.
The Atheros driver completed the installation but reported that it cannot find the adapter.
In ALL of the above cases the wireless adapter appears with the yellow exclamation point, just as
when there are no drivers at all.
At this point I must mention that the wireless adapter was fully functional right out of the box (Windows 8.1),
so there is no hardware problem (the laptop is two days old).
Right now I am re-installing W7 (after so many trials and since I am not going to proceed with
s/w installations unless all hardware components are fully functional) I figured what the h*** let's
try fresh......

Your notebook was equipped with an *Broadcom BCM94313 802.11b/g/n + BT* WLan card
All the drivers are available on the Toshiba EU driver page but you have to choose the right WLan driver because different Satellite L655 were equipped with different WLan modules.

Satellite P850 - Need WLAN Driver for Windows 8.1 64bit

I have Satellite P850 - I renewed my Kaspersky Internet Security and did Windows update for 8.1 64bit. Now I have no Wireless LAN driver. I can only connect to internet with ethernet cable.
I have searched high and low for 2 days looking for a solution. I want to keep everything Toshiba authentic so not wanting to stray to other dodgy diagnostic sites. Toshiba only has Realtek WLAN for Windows 8 version 2.00.0020 available for download - which is already installed on my computer but it is not working - I did reinstall to see if that fixed the problem but no.

What OS do you use???
If you use the XP you will not find the LAN driver on the recommended driver site!
I can not give you any advices where to find such driver because I dont know what LAN card is installed in your oldie.
But why you dont check this yourself? Try to find out what LAN card you use and googel a little bit for compatible applications ;)

According to Apple Support's list of supported printers, yours is supported in Mountain Lion.
How is it connected to your Mac, Lena? If it's connected via USB (and I know nothing about this printer) you should be able to go to System Preferences --> Printers and Fax and click on the "+" button. It should pop up in the left hand pane, where all you'd then have to do is select it and add it. It would then load the appropriate drivers.
Some people have reported they have to reboot their Mac in order to get their printer to show up in the list.
