Satellite L500-12t: FN buttons issue after Win7 64bit upgrade

Hi
i have L500-12T and i upgrade to WIN 7 64 bit.
After the upgrade the FN key not working and i can't turn on the wireless card .
So i can't surf with the wireless.
I download all the driver that i found on the site of toshiba and it's still not working.
What i can do ?

I think you didnt install or update the Toshiba tools I agree with MasterG.
It has nothing to do with the device drivers (e. g. WLAN card) because you need Value Added Package and Flash Cards Support Utility. Both tools are necessary for using FN key combinations.

You mean all buttons work properly when Windows Media Player is running. Only play button doesnt start the media player?
Hmm I dont think that this is a issue or a problem with the buttons because on I cannot start the WMP pressing the play button my notebook too
I have to start firstly the WMP or other app like Winamp and then I can use the play and other buttons
So in my opinion everything is ok

IPhone 5 Power button issues after recent update.

After this most recent update, my power button is not working as it normally does. It takes two or three attempts to turn the phone off and more than once to turn it. Sometimes it turns on and immediately turns off. This is happening only after this update.

Yes 7.1.2 I had a 7.1 backup, and no issues with that... but then I did a clean DL of 7.1.2 and once again with NO apps on the iphone power button issues... as mentioned. So it is not the apps, nor songs, nor anything else...just 7.1.2 I am now running 7.1 no issues.

Lock button issue after update

So I updated my iPhone 5 to the 7.0.2 update this past Sunday and now my lock botton is not responding when I press it. I have to hit it a few times to get it to respond now.
It is NOT a hardware issue since I did not have that issue since ownership. It only started with this issue after I did the update to the 7.0.2 software. 7.0 it was completely fine. (It was an OTA update from 7.0 to 7.0.2)
I have not done the, "erase settings and reset" yet so everything can be reinstalled. But I am wondering if anyone has come across this issue and found a solution without doing the factory reset.

Just quickly pointing out that you said "It is NOT a hardware issue", yet, you post this under "iPhone Hardware". Nice!
Check for any and all debrie that could cause such a thing to happen. Other than that, best bet is to backup via iTunes AND iCloud, then do a full restore via iTunes.

Has any seen collection issues after 11g database upgrade?

We do have an SR open.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced collection issues after upgrading the db to 11g? Our technical folks are hoping it is something else but for the past few weeks we have seen random issues stemming from collections. We run a full collections 5 nights a week. There are material transactions occurring during the two plus hours of collections. This seems to be randomly skewing on hand snapshots in collections as well as missing supply i.e. work orders. Only impacts a fraction of the records in material transactions and they are different every night.
Reason I believe it has to do with transactions during collections is one collection run out of the five is generally pretty good...Sunday evening for there is very limited transactions taking place on this evening.

Having read the 24th December update of note 761570.1 - 'Database Preparation Guidelines for an Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.1 Upgrade' I have decided to upgrade the database to 11.2.0.x by following the Path C option.
Unfortunately as the 11.2.0.x upgrade isn't covered by MWIZ yet I will have to follow the manual steps.

IPhone User Guide Format Issue After 4.3 Upgrade

The iPhone User Guide is no longer formatted properly since I upgraded to iOS 4.3. Although the info is there, the top third of the screen remains stationary, while the rest sometimes scrolls. On some screens, it's not possible to scroll down enough to see all the info. Has anyone else had this issue after upgrading? If so, what did you do to resolve it? I'd appreciate any suggestions. Have taken to downloading the PDF but it's not nearly as quick and easy to use.
You need to restore your phone in iTunes, first using a backup, and if needed as a new iPhone, without using a backup. All is explained in the User Guide.
Starting to question why I did't go android. I thought apple products err just supposed to work!
No one here cares if you go androgynous. I'm sure they all work perfectly all the time.

Exporting issues after 4.2 upgrade

Has anyone else experienced exporting issues after installing the 4.2 upgrade? It used to be a breeze but now I keep getting the message that a destination folder has not been specified even though I've done that. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Are you using an Export preset, or setting the Export up manually each time?

Button issues after deployment

We are having a problem with some buttons after importing an application from another workspace. The issue that we are seeing is that some of our processes and branches that are conditional based on "When Button Pressed" are being changed from a named button to an object id, such as "38008732888312434".
Consequently, these buttons will not trigger the process or branch and must be manually corrected. We have seen these on some of our previous/next processes along with our custom button processes, however, it is interesting that this doesn't seem to happen on the APEX built-in processes of SAVE, CANCEL or DELETE.
Has anyone seen this behavior? If so, what is the fix/workaround?

I also got this issue many times, but didn't got any workarround for that, doing all those changes manually was the only solution I had.
most of the times I found that if there are any processes or any branches which are not used(disabled) are there in between other working processes or branches this thing happens.

Home button issues after iOS 8 update

Has anyone experienced problems with their home button after the iOS 8 update? When I am trying to exit an app using the home button I press it once, but then the iPhone acts as if I have pressed it twice quickly and brings me to the "multitasking screen". It doesn't always do this error, but it is not uncommon and it is very annoying. It never did this before the iOS 8 update. I may try to just restore the iPhone but first I want to see if anyone else is having the same problems or has any suggestions how to fix it. Thanks!!

Not sure if you remember, but on previous iPhones you can reset your home button by doing this:
     >Open your Stocks App
     >while there, press & hold the power button as if you're about to turn the device off
     >once the "slide to power off" screen pops up, stop pressing the power button and press & hold the home button. Your screen may flash a couple times but it should return to your apps screen (or home screen, w/e screen you were at before) and the Stocks App should close. Supposedly this resets the home button
OR
go into your Accessibility setting under General and set your "Home-click speed" to default. That setting may have changed when you updated.
Let me know if this works...

Satellite L500-19E - Microphone stops working after few words

Hi,
About 2 weeks I have a new L500-19E with Windows 7 and it worked fine. But since a few days I have trouble with my microphone, no matter if I use the internal or an external headset/mic. The issue is that it seem to work for a few seconds only, e.g. trying a call via skype, teamspeak etc. but people only hear my hello and a few more words, then they only hear me very quite. The settings all seem to be fine and I already downloaded/installed the newest realtek drivers but nothing helps.
Does anyone has an idea what the issue can be and how to fix?

Really strange, stammann. Have you also tried to update the webcam driver? I ask this because the microphone is a part of the webcam so you should also update this driver. Just check the Toshiba page for an update:

Have you also activated Microphone boost? You can check this in Windows sound settings.

Email Submit button issue after distrbution

I am trying to distribute and collect forms at work using the email submit button. I am able to successfully submit the form when in preview mode, however something happens when I use the distribute function. I distributed the email to my office as a test and when they click Submit they get a Check Names window that says: Microsoft Outlook does not recognize "1. Double-click the attachment."
I also attempted to use my home computer (where I do not have Outlook) to submit the email and had no problems submitting (using gmail).
What is going on, and how do I fix it?

I didn't so much resolve the issue, as found a way around it. Since the problem only arose when using the email distribute button, I just didn't use it and emailed the survey as an attachment through outlook.
I suspect the problem comes from upgrading Adobe Acrobat, but no one seems to know.

Satellite A200 - strange issue after graphic driver upgrade

The problem concerns the driver for Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family. System: Vindows VISTA 32bit Home Premium Service Pack 1. Laptop: Satellite A200.
I installed the new driver from this source (suggestion by Toshiba TEMPO):

After switching on of the computer, the system is constantly asking me ("warning about securities"), whether to run (open) 3 files: C:\Windows\System32\igfxtray.exe / ...hkcmd.exe / ...igfxpers.exe. Disabling of option "Always ask before opening of the file" doesn't help. I have to choose option "Open / Cancel / Close" to continue switching on of the Windows (any option allows switching on). Please mind that I have translated above mentioned communications from Polish.

When you install drivers, you should Right-click the EXE file and choose "Run as Administrator".
You should also temporarily disable your security software or reconfigure it to allow the system file.
Spyware removal tools such as AdAware and Spybot (or the spyware tool in your Internet Security package) may be blocking the system file.

Major Audio Problems on Satellite X205-S7483 after Win7 Ultimate Upgrade

Last night I finished my upgrade to Windows 7, Ran the Official "Toshiba Software Installer for WIndows 7" and was initially pleased to see that nearly all my original Laptop funcaionality, from my Card Reader, to my Fingerprint scanner worked without an issue.
This joy though was soon crushed the momment I went on youtube, and experianced my computers "New" audio fidelity.
My Laptop came with built in Harman Kardon 4.1 speakers, and I have always been complimented by friends at how rich my sound quality was compared to other laptops they had seen.
Now it seems that the currently most updated Realtek Audio Drivers for WIndows 7 (And for that matter Vista and XP aswell, I've tried everything) do not seem to be able to do more than just basic stero sound.
Both my surround speakers and my Subwoofer seem to be completly ignored, and my computer now has a tinny sound to it that is rather offputting when compaired to it's previous preformance.
Can SOMEONE please give me a solution to this, because it's rather maddening to constantly be reminded of the capability I've lost when ever I so much as try and watch a movie, let alone play a video game...

Same trouble has been giving me headaches for some time and i came across interesting thing on two forums, can't remember which one.
Two guys have been able to fix the problem just by installing new drivers from Realtek and then they copied old vista installed files (if i saw good the ones in c:\program files\realtek dir) over the new installed files.
Old audio Vista drivers were original from the beginning 'couse they had same problem with new drivers even on Vista.
That said, I would really appreciate if someone who reads this thread would post link to packed dir i mentioned earlier with original audio files.

Satellite Pro C650 - missing Hotkey Utility after Win7 64-bit installation

I've just installed Win7 64 bit on a C650 laptop but I don't see the Hotkey utilities for wireless on/off or touchpad (Fn F8 &F9) on the Toshiba list of drivers.
Do these utlilies exist? Where would I get them from?

You must install Toshiba value added package. This package contains several tools and utilities.
