Satellite L755D-14C doesn't detect Bluetooth after Win 7 installation

I have Toshiba Satellite L755D-14C laptop, and I used to use my internal Bluetooth in my old 64-bit Windows 7 operating system, then I reinstalled Windows 7 and suddenly the Bluetooth is gone
I tried to installed the driver but nothing happened, like the device wasn't there at all,
Now I have Windows 8 64bit on my laptop.
Can you help me with my problem?

Beside the mentioned tools you forgot to install the [Toshiba Bluetooth Stack v9.10.00 for Win 8|http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_driver_details.jsp?service=EU&selCategory =2&selFamily=2&selSeries=178&selProduct=6465&selSh ortMod=null&language=13&selOS=42&selType=all&yearu pload=&monthupload=&dayupload=&useDate=null&mode=a llMachines&search=&action=search&macId=&country=al l&selectedLanguage=13&type=all&page=1&ID=84288&OSI D=42&driverLanguage=42]

As far as I know there is no download resource for older Macromedia programs and it is highly unlikely that one as old as version 3 of Fireworks will be able to work on a Windows 8.1 system.  I was unable to get a Studio 8 version installation on a Vista system, and likely even an XP system (cannot remember that far back).

  • Re: Satellite L755d - Every browser except IE8 crashes after a few minutes

    Hi,
i own a Toshiba l755d since a month. Everything works fine except firefox, chrome and opera.
IE8 works. t first i thought it was just firefox because i just tested firefox.
SO i wrote a thread in my own language forum for firefox. nobody was able to help me with that problem of crashes. Then i was like test some others browsers which finally doesn't work too.
So finally after updating everything and no change in anything i decided to reinstall windows so atm there is nothing on my harddrive except windows 7 home premium(64bit), the drivers, recently updatet java, flashplayer, firefox, opera and chrome.
    Short:
-every browser except IE8 crashes after a few minutes
    -firefox forum couldn't help me
    -the laptop is new
-everything is updatet to the recent version
    Any ideas?
    cheers!

IE8 isn't the recent? Shame on me i use the ie9
I did the recovery (set to delivered status) several times.
opera crashes too fast, chrome doesn't show anything and firefox shoes this
A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.
    Script: chrome://browser/content/tabbrowser.xml:469
i can choose between -> continue and stop. :D actually this doens't make any difference but ok. At
the firefox forum they said this useually is caused by plugins. SO i deactivated and deinstalled everything and started firefox in safemode. still no change.
i heard this COULD be caused by java script errors.

  • Satellite Pro L300D doesn't power down after Windows XP shuts down.

Hi... Wondering if anyone can help me!
I have a Satellite ProL300D and it's just over a year old. I've had shut down problems with it pretty much since I got it, but after re-loading XP four or five times I decided to stick with restarting the laptop before shutting it down... But now that uni is finished for the year I thought I'd have a go at sorting it out again.
It basically shuts down Windows fine, although it does seem to take quite some time, then the screen goes black but the laptop hasn't powered off. The green light is still on, and the screen is still lit. As I said above, if I restart before shutting down, then it shuts down no problem, also if I watch DVDs and don't go online, it will shut down no problem. If it goes into Stand By mode (which it only does on a critical battery, about 3%, as I've set it to 'never' in the power settings, a possible cure read in another forum), then it won't do anything and has to be turned off by holding down the button. It gets stuck in whatever it was doing and won't restart etc. The laptop came with Vista and an XP downgrade.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Did you have problem with Vista before downgrading to XP? It can be OS/drivers or hardware issue. I have found something interesting about shutdown an restart troubleshooting. Not sure if it helps you:

    Hello.
Do you have any security passwords set for your hard drives?
There was a user that reported a similar problem with his machine a couple of weeks
ago, and it turned out to be tied to the HD password he had set. When he turned the
password off, the machine booted normally.

  • HP nc8430 doesn't detect Bluetooth module

I just purchased and installed the Bluetooth module for my nc8430, but it will not recognize that the module is even installed.  This is the stock bluetooth module for the laptop, it fit the plug and slot just fine.
I have installed the drivers, the HP Wireless Assistant and checked the BIOS (there is no option for enable/disable bluetooth), but it just doesn't show up.
When I right-click on the bluetooth icon in the system tray, it gives me the error: "Bluetooth Device Not Found. Please verify that your Bluetooth device is properly connected and turned on."
Drivers are installed, HP Wireless assistant is installed, I pressed the wireless button on the keyboard and the blue light is on and it's connected properly ... but, apparently, it thinks it's "off".  How do I turn this dang on?!
It doesn't show up the HP Wireless Assistant or in the Windows device manager.  Clicking on the "Bluetooth Configuration"  icon in the control panel causes the same error.

C'mon, nobody knows? I've seen this problem posted elsewhere, but no solution.

  • It doesn't detect Bluetooth device

Haven't been able to paired with any Bluetooth device since I got my ipad2.

I use this BT device to connect my favorite Zagg audiophones to my iPad 2 while traveling, as well as Creative self-powered speakers when I am listening to music or watching video on my iPad 2 in bed. I get beautiful stereo from both kinds of audio devices.

The audiophones that come with this device are crappy, but you can turn any wired audio device with a mini plug into BT with this device.

  • Satellite L750: WLan LED is OFF / Bluetooth driver not installable

Hi, can anyone tell if this is known issue or not.
    This is "Out-of-the-box" condition.
    1) the rightmost wireless communication indicator lamp is always off regardless the status of internet connection. Typically, wireless internet connection is not detected upon boot-up, therefore FN+F8 and "All-on" step is required till I get internet connection be established.
    2) In this situation, if I try to switch on Bluetooth (for me to be able to use Bluetooth mouse), it starts installing Bluetooth driver but is terminated in the half way saying that "Bluetooth can not be powered on, turn on button on the side of the unit"- obviously there is no physical button or switch on my laptop corresponding to this statement.
To make matters worse, if I try to update BIOS to the latest version, the file contains trojan horse virus (as of 3 Dec 2012, 10pm, New Zealand time) and I was unable to update.
I updated the third party wireless lan driver (64 bit) but it doesn't seem to fix the problems.
    Thank you
    Please can anyone help me?

    Hi
What system are you using? Win 7 or Win 8?
Using Fn + F8 switches the Wlan and BT on and off.
Using Win 7 you can enable and disable WLan or BT but using Win 8 the FN + F8 would disable Wlan and BT at the one and the same time.
I have no idea what WLan card you have but I think that one module contains WLan and BT functionality. So if you want to install BT stack you have to install firstly the Bluetooth filter (i.e if you have Atheros Wlan card you have to install Atheros BT filter BEFORE BT stack).
It looks like the unit is from Australian so I recommend checking the Toshiba AU driver page to get all the drivers

  • Satellite A205 - SD Card reader stopped working after Win 7 upgrade

    Satellite A205-SP5818
I recently upgraded to Windows 7, and, among other things, the SD Card reader stopped working. I already downloaded and installed the driver offered in this site: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=2190493& rpn=PSAE3U&modelFilter=&selCategory=3&selFamily=10 73768663 (it's the next-to-last driver shown) but it went from not working all together to making funny noices when I insert the SD card... and then not working.
Any ideas of other drivers that might work, or any kind of other solution?
    Thanks.

    Hi
Try to remove eh SD card controller from the device list.
    Then reboot the unit.
After that windows will ask you for an driver.
    You can download this driver:
    [SD Driver, Flash Memory v2.0.0.7|http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/content/support/downloads/driver_cardreader_ti_25844A.exe]
You should unzip this package and has to point the driver files in this folder
This should helps to get the SD card reader working again

  • Preview app doesn't open anymore after Maverick installation

Since Maverick installation, I can't open my pictures in Preview. The Preview application doesn't open anymore. Neither does the App Store, nor the 'software update'
    Any idea what to do?

Go to your Finder "Go" menu hold the option key to choose "Library", then go to Containers folder and com.apple.Preview and delete container plist. Now relaunch Preview and test.
EDIT: Oops, 10.7... it may be in ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Preview.plist. I'm not running 10.7 right now.

  • Zen Vision:M doesn't detect on my win

    Hi Guys,
I have trouble with my zen vision:m. I already installed the software, but when i plugged my player, my windows can not search the driver for my player. My computer is win xp sp2, AMD ,8 Ghz, with chipset nvidia for the USB
Please help me to solve this problem

    Kyman73,
This is true of the majority of our recent players. If the min requirements state Windows XP SP and above, then it is most likely MTP based. Zen Micro Photo, Sleek, Sleek Photo, Vision, Vision:M. The Zen Micro, Touch, and Xtra had firmware updates to give MTP support.
MTP is Media Transfer Protocol. Should be similar to a standard Mass Storage driver used with memory sticks, but is geared more to media files / processes. Microsoft started deploying support for it in WMP0 beta and then there were several updates in SP2. Usually, it is just a matter of making sure WMP0 / SP2 are installed, and that the user has permissions to the system to use it. Some systems will have the registry permissions set to deny for some odd reason, and cannot access the device after it shows properly in device manager. There are many threads here regarding it.

  • Qosmio X875 - ECO mode doesn't work right after Win 8 upgrade

I used Toshiba upgrade assistant to upgrade to Win 8. It did a good job uninstalling the non-compatible software before upgrading, and installing the new Toshiba and driver versions after the upgraded was completed.
I activated ECO mode and to my surprise, it isn't working as before (in Win 7):
*Now, it just works with brightness in level 1*... very dim. Before, ECO mode allowed me to go up to level 4 and still was considered to be in Eco mode..
If I increase brightness, the message "eco Mode is turned Off" immediately pops up.
How to contact Toshiba to let them know of this problem and other problem I found with the new BIOS?
    BTW, I own a Qosmio X875

Contact your Toshiba authorized service provider in your country.
    Read this:

    > It changes the display brightness to Level-4, changes the dimmed display brightness to Level-1 (*4),
_The *4 means Only on models with Windows7 installed_
I assume the previous configuration was related to Win 7 only.
The Win 8 was made for mobile (tablet usage) too the battery power consumption is very important factory using Win 8. The battery consumption needs to be hold on lowest level as possible.
So I assume now using Win 8 and ECO mode means to save max power and to extended battery working time to a max level.

  • Since updating to iOS 8.1 my Bluetooth doesn't detect any devices

Since updating to iOS 8.1 my Bluetooth doesn't detect any devices

    Good Morning Denise -
Sorry to hear you are having issues connecting to your Wi-Fi network.  I'll include a few more things that you can try to troubleshoot this below.  The first thing that I'm wondering is if you cannot connect to your Wi-Fi at home -- are you able to connect to a different Wi-Fi network (at work, a local coffee shop, etc.)?  That would be one of the first things to try.
Turning the modem and router in your house of and then on is also a common step as it "reinitializes" everything.  Hopefully, one of the steps below will help you with this.
If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204051
    Restart.
For more help, try restarting your device, router, or cable/DSL modem. After each step, check to see if you fixed the issue.
      • Restart your iOS device.
      • Unplug your router and plug it back in.
      • Unplug your cable or DSL modem and plug it back in.
    Still can’t connect?
Reset your Network Settings. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you’ve used before.
    Get more help
Try connecting to a Wi-Fi network in a different location. If your device can connect, you’ll need to get help with your Wi-Fi network. If it can’t connect to any Wi-Fi networks, contact Apple.

    Hello,
It isn't the fw in Network you want o use or look at, that's for something completely different.
My first suspect is the Power Adapter on the LaCie has gone.
At the Apple Icon at top left>About this Mac, then click on More Info, then click on Hardware>Firewire, what is listed there?
    Reset the Firewire bus
If your Firewire or USB isn't recognizing any device.  A solution which has worked for some whose hard drive became invisible in 10.4 was simply to follow these four steps to reset the Firewire/USB bus:
    1. Shut the machine down.
    2. UNPLUG the power lead to the computer and any firewire/USB drive or devices.
    3. leave it for 10 minutes.
    4. Connect back up and reboot.
