Satellite M200 - Does it have internal Bluetooth?

I have a Satellite M200 PSMC3A-06N008 System Serial Number: 18139050Q with the Intel Corporation SANTA ROSA CRB motherboard running BIOS: Phoenix Technologies LTD 1.90 12/20/2007
The user guide indicates there should be Bluetooth installed on the motherboard but when I attempt to install the "Bluetooth Stack for Windows-by-Toshiba" I am prompted to install the Bluetooth device.
Examination of the Device Manager does not show any Bluetooth devices, so my question is ...
Does the Satellite M200 PSMC3A-06N008 have the Bluetooth chipset installed on the motherboard??
If so, it would look like mine is faulty.

Hi buddy,
Its not easy to say because this is depending on your notebook model and there are different models with different specifications on the market.
I have tried to check the specifications on Australian website but no results found for your model :(
Normally if your notebook is equipped with BT you should find the [Bluetooth logo|http://www.thebikerstore.co.uk/product_images/n/033/Bluetooth_logo__70711_zoom.jpg] on bottom side of your notebook.
Can you see it?

  • Satellite A500-011 PSAR0C-01100D - internal Bluetooth adapter

I have Satellite A500-011 PSAR0C-01100D, I'm looking for an internal Bluetooth PCI adapter that slides in, on the side of the laptop into the pci card slot. without opening the computer)
Can someone help me find the part number ?
I remember seeing it in the toshiba site,a while back, but not there anymore, can't find it. I would like to order one.
i have an external USB Bluetooth adapter but it's a bit flaky and it sticks out and gets caught in the bag etc.
There is a internal module available but I don't want to open up the case and damage it.
    thanks

*Replacing Wireless Card with WiFi & BT Combination Card.*
Hopefully it will be compatible with the computer. Make sure that it is half PCI-e size.
Example of what it should look like: http://www.compactpci-systems.com/products/id/?45200
First, the laptop should be placed bottom side up to expose the doors.
The centre most door that uses one screw to open should be the one to open.
When open, you should see the RAM exposed.
In addition to this, there is the wireless modem card.
Unscrew two 2.5x3 screws that secure the card.
    Remove from the slot.
Take the Wireless WiFi & BT combination card, and slip it into the slot.
    Secure with the two screws.
Close the lid, and secure with screw.
Install any necessary software and drivers. . .
    *For dedicated BT:*
For A500 models, you need a version 2.1 + EDR (antenna on mobile type) model for bluetooth.
This would involve removing the keyboard and acccessing the top of the motherboard; a more intriciate process.

  • Does anyone have a bluetooth receiver that works with iPod Hi-Fi?

I'm hoping to make my iPod Hi-Fi Bluetooth compatable. I purchased one and it didn't work.
    Any suggestions?

I wear hearing aids and use the iphone 5 to control them.  it does not have a 30 pin but the newer smaller usb.  So far I have not been able to find some kind of receiver that will transmit or input audio back into the iphone.   There are guitar applications, but nothing for "line in" of mp3 shuffle type audio.  my riding instructor has an fm unit and students simply wear earphones.  Because of my hearing loss and the bulky "behind the ear" aids, I cannot do that.  My phone plays its music and phone calls directly into my aids, much like phones do for "jawbone" type hands free.  But I need an auxiliary input to feed my instructor's voice into my aids.  Any suggestions, that won't cost an additional $100+?

  • Does cannon have international warranties?

Based in Dubai , I have a canon EOs 5 D mark II , bought from pen camera DC , barely a few months old , with a warranty limited to US and Canada ,unfortunately the power fails to come on to the camera . Cannot contact customer care on toll free numbers . Any input on telephone or contact  will help . It is a Shame that a brand like canon does not offer international warranties !

Why not try their web contact form and see what they say? http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/about_canon/standard_display/contact_us
Not a shame, just basic business: US customers buy and pay for a US warranty -- if you need an International Warranty, you should plan to buy internationally.

  • HP OfficeJet Pro L7680 all-in-one: Does it have internal stored memory?

Same question as the last post only for a differnet printer model (sorry for what may seem like a duplicate question - I'm just trying to be sure I don't cause myself a headache later).
I have an HP OfficeJet Pro L7680 All-In-One (FAX/Scan/Print/Photo) printer that I'd like to get rid of it.  Before I dispose of it, and for security purposes, I'd like to know if there's an internal hard drive that could potentially be storing anything I may have copied, scanned or faxed.

Hello sixmil5, and welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! I see you have concerns about the printers internal memory.  The memory is automatically reset when the printer power is unplugged, so you should have no issue with personal information being saved.  Thank you for posting on the HP Forums and please let me know if you have any other questions.

  • Satellite L300 does not have sound and modem is also not working

I have this Toshiba Satellite L300 (PSLB8A--1F004) an Australian model which was working perfectly well until I changed the harddrive after it developed bad sectors.
I have installed Win Vista Business.
I have all the drivers (TOSAPINS folder) that came with the original harddrive but when I did installed the drivers by following the correct order. i.e chipset, display, common modules, audio, modem and all other drivers.
There is still a little red x on the taskbar saying " No audio output device is installed" and also I noticed that the modem is not listed under device manager. I have also tried replacing a working modem card from a same model laptop but it is still not showing any signs of picking up the modem as well as sound driver.
I made attemp to download drivers from mytoshiba.com.au under the exact model and OS and installed but to no avail the problem is still there.
No sign of modem picked up and the little red x on taskbar still says " No audio output device is installed" and on device manager its not showing the audio or modem. there is also nothing in yellow exlamation marks and also I've tried to view hidden devices but still there is no sign.
Is there any thing else that I've missed out that I can try again?
    WewakMaster

No I dont have the vista service pack and the internet speed at my end is too slow to download it.
So I have tried installing windows 7 but the problem still remains.
I have now removed win7 and have installed WIndows XP SP3 but there is still no sign of audio so Im stuck with win XP SP3 and trying to find solutions now.
I think the problem may have been caused when I upgrade the bios...and Im still looking for ways to downgrade the bios to its original bios to confirm this.

  • How to find out font does not have international support

    Hi,
OS X claims itself Unicode supporting system - that is true however only a minor portion of native or preinstalled fonts support CE accented characters such as ľĺščťďžýáíéŕňäúô.
The question is: how can I find out which font has international support and which doesn't?
The problem is, that when you use font without CE support, it replaces problematic characters with the closes match (e.g. instead of Geneva you will get Arial for certain CE characters). This is sometimes very hard to spot and you often find this out in prints where every now and then a single character is printed in different font/size or missing altogether. And attempt to print document usually escalates the problem.
Windows supports CE and many other alphabets in its standard English distribution with ALL its core fonts. It is a SHAME that Apple plainly ignores half of the planet for so many years (I understand, however, that half of the planet does not equal half of the market.).

Well, regarding iWork I would like to use the fonts
that are bundled and used for the templates because
they are pretty. I don't want to spent hundreds of
extra dollars on buying crippled CE versions.
I think you misunderstood me. One can't even use CE fonts with OS X (except in a couple of obsolete apps) and I would never recommend that anyone acquire or install them. I meant that you could change the default fonts in the templates to other Unicode fonts that do include the Latin Extended-A block needed for CE languages.
I assume you're aware that Apple OS X apps can also use all the MS and Adobe and other Unicode fonts made for Windows that do contain Latin Extended-A, so you are not confined to Apple's fonts?
I grant that it would be better if all the Unicode fonts supplied with OS X, iWork, and iLife included more character ranges, but the current state for CE scripts is at least a whole lot better than for the Arabic or Devanagari scripts, where there is only one font available and Windows fonts usually cannot substitute.

  • Does iPad have GPS, or do I have to get an external dongle ?

Does iPad have internal GPS, or do I have to get an external dongle ?

OH, and by the way, do you know if the gps the iPads use is affected by the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) ?
It would be nice to be able to get this info off the Apple web site, but I think it is the most user-unfriendly site I have ever seen.  Absolutely no answer to these questions, no matter what search terms I enter.  Hopefully, my first iPad experience won't be as user unfriendly as the people who manufatured it.

  • Satellite L300D-14T does it have Bluetooth?

    hi :)
i was wondering does my satellite L300D-14T have bluetooth or not?
it does have a bluetooth logo on the box but i cant find/detect any bluetooth devices in the laptop itself...
    does anyone know?

    hi essener,
try to seach on the product sites of toshiba to find out if your system is capable of bluetooth...
if you cant find any bluetooth devices in the device manager it's possible that there are none in this notebook...
but as far as i knows almost every notebook from toshiba has a socket for a bluetooth module...
maybe you can find a door on the bottom of the machine next to the ram...
make sure that there is a antenna also...
    if unsure ask your servicepartner/dealer

  • Satellite P20-S203 internal bluetooth

    Hi,
I've just checked under the modem board in my P20-S203 and there is place to install a bluetooth internal card. It should connect to the motherboard via a ribbon cable like the bluetooth module for the M200 series. However, I cannot find the exact part number for my computer anywhere...
Also, there are some P20 computers that already come with internal bluetooth installed. Which part number is applicable to my computer? I already have a bluetooth SD Card 2 and I am always afraid that I break it or loose it...
    Kind regards
    Fernando Birra

    Hi,
I can not understand why you do not use your Bluetooth SD Card. If you have problem with small parts buy the bigger one. :)
Bluetooth PC Card (TDK) seems to be proper for your Notebook. The information you can find under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > Products > Options & Accessories > Communications. Part number is PX1086E-1PCC.

  • TS3048 My early 2009 Mac Pro does not connect via bluetooth to my sound bar or bluetooth mini speakers. Both my wireless keyboard and mouse have no problems connecting. What do I need to do to connect to external bluetooth devices?

My early 2009 Mac Pro does not connect via bluetooth to my sound bar or bluetooth mini speakers. Both my wireless keyboard and mouse have no problems connecting. What do I need to do to connect to external bluetooth devices?

I would always have a wired keyboard and mouse on hand (need not be expensive ... any cheap wired devices will work).  "Emergency recovery" procedures can activate features in random order, so the opportunity to select a recovery partition may pass before the wireless devices are recognized.
That will let you select the "turn on Bluetooth" icon.
