Satellite M500 - Missing TosHdpAPI.dll error message

I recently installed Quicken 2011 and after install an error message was displayed on Laptop startup:
Can't start application ..........Missing ToshdpAPI.dll.
I am running Windows 7 Pro on a Satellite M500
I there a way of obtaining a new copy of this dll?

Hello
I have a little bit searched using Google and it seems that TosHdpAPI.dll belongs to Toshiba Bluetooth stack software but its strange why this is important for your Quicken program
In your case I would try reinstalling Bluetooth software that can be downloaded here:
http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/
If it doesnt help you should contact the manufacture of Quicken program. Usually they should know how you can get rid of this error message. Probably they have a patch (update) for this issue.

  • Missing msvcp100.dll error message

the adobe reader always starts with a system error message about a missing "msvcp100.dll" file (needed for acroRd32.exe). I have to click the OK-Button and the reader starts in a normal way.
I already tried to repair the installation, but it didn't help. I use Adobe Reader version 9.3.3 with windows 7 professional.
Does anybody know how to solve this annoying problem?
    thank you

In order to fix the issue you may install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package and check if it helps.
You may install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package according to the Windows 7 versions you are using.

  • Missing MSVCR71.dll Error Message During Launch

I just wanted to pass along an error message that I have found the solution to and have passed onto Adobe through the bug submission process.
I have discovered a QuickTime Component that causes Adobe Encore CS5 to give an error message during launch.  The Error message states “The file MSVCR71.dll could not be found. Please reinstall Adobe Encore to resolve the problem” (Well, it is something really close to that.  I did not write down the error message before fixing the problem).  There is an “OK” button below the message to continue loading Adobe Encore.
The error message is only displayed if all other CS5 programs are closed.  During my findings, I discovered that if you open Adobe Encore CS5 through Premiere Pro CS5 or After Effects CS5 by using Dynamic Link, the error message will not be displayed.
The QuickTime Component that causes the error message is “XiphQT”, which is used to play Xiph formats in any QuickTime based application.  The Component can be located here: http://www.xiph.org/quicktime/
When installing the latest version of the program “Juicer” from digital juice, the QuickTime Component is installed.  Juicer will run without the Component, but gives a message that it is missing.  I have removed the Component since I use Encore to a much greater extent.
To remove the XiphQT Component from QuickTime, you must remove it manually because when QuickTime is uninstalled, the Component is left behind and will be a part of future installations of QuickTime.
While the error message displayed during the launch of Adobe Encore CS5 is not detrimental, it can be frustrating, so I hope this may help others that receive the error message from above.  I should also note that I am using Windows 7 Home Premium.

    Greetings,
My solution was attributable to my firewall (Microsoft Defender) blocking TCP connections to QuckTime.  Here's the steps that resolved my problems on CS5, Windows 7, 64 bit:
    Control Panel
    Windows Firewall
    Advanced Settings
    Outbound Rules
    New Rule...
    Program/Next
This program path:  (use Windows Explorer to search)
    c:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Bridge CS5\msvcr71.dll
    Allow the connection
    (Leave checks Domain, Private, Public)/Next
Name Description: (whatever you like - will display at top of Windows Firewall Advanced Security Outbound Rules)
    Good luck,  Michael

    Hi  ,
Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues, with help from the community!
I came across your post about the Notebook, and wanted to assist you! I have looked into your issue about your HP Pavilion dv6-6c10us Notebook and issues with Qt5Gui.dll error message on startup. I have search this and is seems to be a phone issue. Have you added some software for a cell phone? If this is what is causing this issue you could uninstall the software. Here is a link to show you how to do this. If that did not help, you can do a system restore. System restore will help if something automatically updated and did not go well on the Notebook. I would recommend a restore point before the 10 th, maybe something around the 5 th or so. When performing a System restore please note remove any and all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices as they can cause issues. Here is a link to check the device manager for errors with drivers. If there is a driver with an issues in your Device Manager, this could be causing an issue. Here is a link to show you how to resolve this, if you need it.
Please let me know how this goes. Thanks.

  • Here are the instructions on how to fix the newest update problem with the .dll error message:, Here are the instructions on how to fix the newest update problem with the .dll error message:

Go to My Computer, Uninstall Programs, and uninstall in this exact order :
          Itunes
          Apples Software Update
         Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour (my system required a reboot on this one)
         Apple Application Support
Reboot your computer, go to the official Itunes website (make sure it's the Apple Itunes Website and not some other one!), and reinstall Itunes.
I got the same .dll error message after the reinstall, but my Itunes was downloaded successfully and I was able to Sync my phone. : )
Good luck to you and God Bless!
(Sad that we have to come to the Discussion Forum to figure this all out instead of Apple taking care of their business and helping us out, huh?)

Someone else said they did a system restore to a previous update, and then a java update and that worked for them, saying they were going to stick with the earlier version of itunes until they get the bugs out of the new one.  I t tried restores and that didn't work for me either, but maybe it will work for you.  Good luck and I hope you get it working soon..

  • ATMLIB.dll error message

Is there a fix for ATMLIB.dll error messages (not designed to run on Windows)?

I was able to fix this, and I posted about it on another forum post here
I had this issue ("Bad Image: C:\Windows\system32\ATMLIB.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error") with Adobe Reader X (10.1.12). I tried repairing, and then tried uninstalling and upgrading to Adobe Reader XI (11.0.9), but still had the same trouble. I compared the atmlib.dll files in both directories and noticed that the file in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 did not appear to have any file meta data (giving the appearance that it was corrupted), whereas the file in C:\Windows\system32 reflected a file version 5.1.2.238 and product version "5.1 Build 238". Now, it appears based on being installed to "C:\Program Files (x86)" that the version of Adobe Reader I was using was 32-bit. So, this tells me that while the error references the C:\Windows\system32 file path, it is likely actually the file in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 that is the problem (Windows-on-Windows emulation for 32-bit applications, 32-bit libraries actually reside in C:\Windows\SysWOW64, not C:\Windows\system32). I found the same file in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 with the same product and file version on another 64-bit Windows 7 workstation, and simply copied it to C:\Windows\SysWOW64 on the affected workstation, and that resolved the issue.
NOTE: To overwrite the file, I had to change file ownership to Administrators security group, otherwise it was immutable.

  • "unable to load wingenerator.dll" error message in Captivate 4

Has anyone run into the "unable to load wingenerator.dll" error message in Captivate 4.  I didn't see this type of error in v3...so just wondering if it is an issue with this version.  I have to save my project after every change in order to not loose my work.  I get this error and then the program crashes without saving my work.

    Hello Cat,
Welcome to our community. This sounds like the Windows registry has either become corrupt or has an incorrect permission. If you are using Windows XP then you might want to take a look at the following blog post

If you are using Windows Vista then I would suggest that you contact Adobe using the Adobe Captivate Feature Request/Bug Report Form

  • C:\Windows\ehome\ehuihlp.dll Run DLL error message

When I start my laptop (HP Pavilion dv6-3120us Entertainment Notebook; 64-bit operating system; AMD Turion II P540 dual-core processor, 2.40 GHz) , the following Run DLL error message appears: "There was a problem starting C:\Windows\ehome\ehuihlp.dll.
The specified module could not be found." I wonder if this is related to my uninstalling (or attempting to uninstall) Windows Media Center, because it would take such a long time to open, and I didn't know how to disable it from automatically starting.
Do I need to reinstall the file? I don't think I have any original software separate from what came with the laptop. I do have a Recovery Disc Set from Feb. 2011. Is there another way I can download the file and/or fix this?
    Thanks.
    SL

Thanks very much for the reply. I did uninstall the software by using the Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel. I went in and unchecked the box for Windows Media Center and when I rebooted, the message didn't come up again.
I also started getting another similar DLL error message, but it was under our Users folder: AppData\Roaming\newnext.me\nengine.dll. I unchecked it ("Next Live") the same way as for the Windows Media Center and when I rebooted, it didn't come up. I didn't
uninstall  or do anything else, so do I need to do so? (I don't know what "Next Live" is.)
    Thank you,
    SL

  • OpenAL32.dll error message shown on my Satellite notebook

I am getting an error message about something called "OpenAL32.dll is missing"
I need some help regarding how to get this error message fixed.
When I Google "OpenAL32.dll is missing" there are untold amounts of sites saying to download their fix, or get a scan before downloading their versions of a fix.
But I don't see a Microsoft or windows 7 home premium fix.
Im confused and don't really understand much of this.

A friend tried uniblue on friday on a Satellite Pro with Vista, The only software on the laptop that wasn't supplied with the machine was for Fuji digital cameras. She allowed uniblue to fix the 100+ errors and then discovered that "it won't recognise the camera when connected via USB or the memory card if I plug it in". She was nearly right - Vista recognised the camera and SD cards but uniblue had removed registry entries that autorun Fuji software to automate image storage etc. and also broke some other link that if the camera software was manually started the software module that interfaced with the camera/SD card didn't run.
So my vote is 100% don't touch it.
