Satellite P200D-11J goes out while starting
Hello!
Have for 2 years a P200D.
Have also XP on it, the not functioning FN and extra keys do not disturb me.
But since beginning in I have the problem that the laptop does not restart itself. Exact said during the new starting it simply goes out
1. While "new start" choosing:
this is not problematic, because it is able to shut down and start. with it no problems.
2. After the installations which require a new start, even when self restartig.
Problem solution was to wait always 10 minutes, then the laptop starting again. Seems to be a hardware problem to be.
If 2 years went well, until I had to make new right now XP. now he goes out every time during the installation. Always in different points, cannot lie with the installation...
What can this be? Power Supply? RAM????
Am curious on your answers.
Hi
Maybe the notebook shuts down automatically due to a higher internal temperature?
What do you think about this idea?
If the temperature is too high, the notebook would shuts down to prevent the hardware parts from damage
I think this could be plausible explanation
Check if the notebook is warmer and try to remove the dust and debris from the cooling modules using the compressed air spray.
I clean my fans from time to time and this prevents the notebook from overheating.
Check it out

UNEXPECTED RESET.
I'M LISTENING MY MUSIC . BUT MY IPOD GOES OUT AND STARTS IN DIFFERENT MENUHello LUISPOLAR11,
It sounds like your iPod classic is playing one song but then stops and appears to go to a different menu. I would start by resetting it:
Reset your iPod - Apple Support
Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears (about 6 to 8 seconds). You might need to repeat this step.
If you have difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also, make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.
If the above steps didn't work, try connecting your iPod to a power adapter. Then, plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect your iPod to your computer. Make sure that the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep. Try resetting your iPod while it is connected to power.
If the issue persits, I would restore your iPod with iTunes and re sync your data to it:
Restoring iPod to factory settings
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Outgoing Mail only goes out while in network?
I can receive e-mail wherever I am located. But for some reason outgoing mail only work while at home. When my macbook is in my office (I have a network at home and at work) I can't send out e-mail. Anybody know why?
Mail Help has some articles devoted to sending problems, e.g. “I can't send email” or “I can't send email because the connection to the server on port 25 timed out”. You may want to take a look at them in case there is something there that applies to you.
Something that usually works if you’re trying to use an outgoing (SMTP) server different from the one provided by your ISP (and in the case of .Mac in particular) is changing the outgoing server port to 587 instead of 25 in Preferences > Accounts > Account Information > Outgoing Mail Server > Server Settings.
BTW, please update the Computer Model and/or the Operating System fields on your My Settings’s profile (and click Save), so that it accurately reflects the version of Mac OS X you're using now. What shows up there now doesn’t make sense. -
Internet randomly goes out while still connected to wireless
So I'll randomly lose internet connection while surfing the web. I'll still be connected to the wireless and other devices/computers will work as well; however, pages will no longer load and any files will stop downloading. Sometimes it'll happen after a few minutes of usage or a few hours. If I turn off wifi on my iMac and then turn it back on, my computer connects to wifi and the internet will be working again. Sometimes I can also click "Renew DHCP Lease" in the settings menu and that will fix it; however, sometimes when I do that it will disconnect me from the wireless and then reconnect me but it will say "no internet connection" (problem is solved by turning wifi on and off). All the computers on our network have a reserved IP/MAC address on our router as well.
I have an iMac running Lion, D-Link DIR-645 router, Motorola SB6121 modem, Comcast Blast internet. None of my housemates seem to be having the same problem.
Any suggestions??Hi, this has worked for a few...
Make a New Location, Using network locations in Mac OS X ...
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2712
10.7…
System Preferences>Network, top of window>Locations>Edit Locations, little plus icon, give it a name.
10.5.x/10.6.x/10.7.x instructions...
System Preferences>Network, click on the little gear at the bottom next to the + & - icons, (unlock lock first if locked), choose Set Service Order.
The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.
Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.
For 10.5/10.6, System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
Click OK.
Also, turn off IPv6:
System Preferences » Network » AirPort » TCP/IP tab » Configure IPv6
Or whatever Interface you use. -

couldn't figure out what is the basic problem...
Normally when ever I make any changes in Oracle Sensor Edge Server, I used to get this error..
I have installed the Oracle Apps Server in Windows enviroment...
I will be very happy if some body can help me resolve the issue...

Nasimi got the same error but in my case, I used HTTPDispatcher and found that the URL parameter was invalid, so I changed it in the edgeserver.xml and restart, it's ok for me.

NasimCan't tell you what's wrong with just this much of information. Take a look at this log file (as reported in the error message):
D:\product\10.1.3\OracleAS_1\opmn\logs\OC4J~home~default_group~1
And also:
D:\product\10.1.3\OracleAS_1\j2ee\home\log\home_default_group_1\server.log
These two log files will give you bit more information to help diagnose the issue.
Thanks

my ipad2 keeps cutting out and going back to start up screen?
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
Finally, if the Restore doesn't work, let the battery drain completely. Then recharge for at least an hour and Restore again. -
Macbook Pro won't start up, white light turns on, then goes out.
My Macbook Pro froze, so I hit the power button, and now it will not turn on.
When I press the power button the white light on the front comes on, and then goes out after about 6 seconds along with that noise it normally makes when turning off. Also if I cover both speakers the light fades.
This used to happen to me pretty regularly, and in the past it seems just a matter of giving it 24hrs and then trying to turn it on and it usually fixes itself by then. But I've started taking on freelance clients so I can't deal with this crap anymore and would like to know why this is happening. I've taken it to Genius's before but by the time I get there it is turning on again, and they have no answers for me.You could try reseting the PRAM/NVRAM (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379, see section titled "Resetting PRAM and NVRAM") or reseting the SMC (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964).
