Satellite P300-1A8 - Part number for AC adapter
Hi.
Can anyone tell me the Part Number of the AC adapter I need to buy for my Satellite P300-1A8?
Model no: PSPCOE-01H008EN 15550/1024/1024/160G54/17W + BT/D52/L/M/W
The toshiba site doesn't list or recognise the model, CarPhone Warehouse didn't provide me with detailed documents, and the original adapter has been stolen. Failing that, can anyone provide an email address for toshiba (I am unable to phone during their office hours).
Or failing that, some general advice on a compatible adapter please, as I bought an adapter of the correct basic specification - 19V, 3.95A, (75W), 2.5/5.5mm connector (the PA3715E-1ACE) however it doesn't work. The toshiba site lists one other adapter of the same specs (the PA3468E-1AC3) but I am reluctant to risk buying it without being sure it is the correct one. I would be happy to buy a universal adapter but only a high quality one that will not be an electrical hazard.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Clare
Hi PinkPanther.
Thanks for the reply and the link. That was the part of the site where I found the AC adapter I thought I needed. I could just go ahead and buy the other one, but these are 70 so I really need it to charge the laptop correctly at that price.
My main problem is that no site is recognizing my laptop model - not Toshiba or the authorized service provider - so I can't find out the exact charger online. The second problem is that I can't phone when their help line is open between 9-6pm M-F, as these are my exact work hours and I have no mobile phone reception.
I have messaged Toshiba though their site, but I haven't received a reply, and the advantage of an email address is that I can check that it has been delivered. I will try to search for the asp now.
And, as you say, the original AC adapter would be much better all round.
Thanks, Clare

HP Docking Station EN488AA - part number for power adapter
Hi,
I have a HP Compaq nx8220 notebook, with a HP Docking Station (EN488AA).
Unfortunately I have lost the power supply for the docking station.
I still have the power supply for the notebook itself (393955-001) but it does not plug in to the docking station. It is the correct voltage but only 90W instead of 120W, and the connector is the wrong size.
I've been looking online for the part number for the correct replacement power supply for the dock, but became very confused when I found sites advertising the same replacement part for both the nx8220 and the EN488AA when clearly they are different because the plugs don't match. None specify the plug size so I don't know which is which.
Can anyone help me identify the correct replacement part? Or better still, is there a plug adapter available so I can use my existing power supply for the dock too?
Attached are two photos - the plug from the power adapter next to the inlet of the notebook (fits) and the dock (doesn't fit).
Thanks,
EddieD97
This question was solved.
View Solution. The pin in picture looks liek a 5mm pin and one one on docking station is a smart pin. So you would need something like the one in picture in this link.
In the picture observe the component in left hand bottom corner.

I would say, take the adaptor to store and get one.
Wish you luck,

What is the correct part number for dvi to vga adapter for macbook pro model A1260
Can someone tell me the Apple part number for the DVI to VGA adapter that came with a Macbook Pro model A1260? (Early 2008)
My adapter has reached the end of useful life.
Thanks!You have a MacBook Pro 15" Early 2009 (MacBook Pro 4,1)
The Mac's port is a Dual-link DVI (VGA, Composite and S-video with adapter)
The DVI connector connects to the Dual link-DVI port, thus you need a DVI to VGA adapter.

You also can search the Apple store online for the part, but it's so basic and simple that paying more for Apple's version is just for looks. -

Instructions for changeing to from Windows 8 to windows 7.
INSTRUCTIONS:
First - Burn recovery media before you make any changes! -You may want or need to go back to windows 8 later-
Update BIOS to newest bios version, the C55 and possibly other models will not support CSM boot mode with the older bios versions.
Second -
Important Bios changes when changing from Windows 8 to Windows 7:
Completely shut down laptop (Shut down Windows 8 while pressing the Shift key to completely power off.) then restart computer and hold f2 when the screen goes black and wait for the bios setup utility to launch.
Select advanced, then system configuration, then boot mode
UEFI and CSM or legacy (UEFI for Windows 8 and CSM or legacy for windows 7)
For windows 7 change to CSM or Legacy mode.
Third - Also in bios setup utility select - Security, then Secure Boot, then you have to disable secure boot for windows 7.
You will need to delete all partitions before installing windows 7 this is done forth step.
Forth - Insert your windows 7 disc and select custom install, your partitions should show up - click on each one and below you will see advanced drive options, click that and you will have options to format - format each one, then delete each one. You will be left with one raw partition, select to install and windows will do the rest while installing the operating system.
Fifth - install drivers
Installation order is important:
Install chipset driver then video driver before other drivers. Then install Toshiba Value added package before other applications
-See attached pictures that show installed applications-

I need to find the correct part number for the ac-charger for hp mini 110-1191eo (part vj213ea#uuw).
This question was solved.
View Solution.Good question.
That I don't have a definite 100% answer to.
It probably is OK. Wattage is what it is rated at. More wattage is probably a good thing, and I have read that = or - .5v is not supposed to be an issue.
You can do a google search of the part number for your power adapter and see if they still carry it, if you are concerned.

Hardware spare part number for VPCSB16FG
Am using sony vaio laptop VPCSB16FG S series since 2012 or so. Now it does not switch on no power reaching the laptop from the adapter. The adaptor is working fine, i want to replace the power IC hardware anyone can help me with the part number for it? Grateful to hear from you
Hi Siddig,
Welcome to Sony Community!
The model # VPCSB16FG is not a US model hence, we don't have enough information about its part numbers. What I would suggest is that you visit this website https://sony.encompass.com/ ,this is the authorized supply chain manager for original parts and accessories for Sony products. I'm sure they will be more than happy to assist you with your inquiry.
Good luck.

Unfortunately, there is not a separate brightness setting for the number pad. If it is too bright for you, you might try turning down the brightness some in the setting you found earlier.

Part Number for Bluetooth 2.0 module
Does anyone have the part number for a Bluetooth 2.0 module for the Mac Pro?
I want to make sure I don't end up with the older version 1.1.
The part number I've been told to use is Model A1115, but one service site says that's a version 1.1 module, while the seller and another site say it is the 2.0 module.
I can't find anything at apple.com which lists the part numbers, though I might know where to look.Updated information (why can't we edit our posts any more?):
The part number I'm looking at is, well, several numbers on the module:
7C748005XUZ4A
ANATEL:0786-05-1993
003NY05015 0000
Model A1115
FCC ID: BCGA1115
IC: 579C-A1115
Again, I'm trying to figure out what version of Bluetooth this module is. -
What's the Part Number for an IdeaPad S12 recovery disk?
Hello,
I have an IdeaPad S12 (NVidia Ion). The recovery partition is gone. What's the part number for the recovery disk?
I mainly work with ThinkPad systems and Lenovo has an excellent part number system that covers just about every part you could imagine on a ThinkPad laptop. I assume Lenovo is also using this or something similar for it's consumer-line laptops. Sadly, Lenovo doesn't treat it's consumer laptop line with the same dignity as the ThinkPad line, and no customer support agent would tell me the part number, so I'm resorting to the forum for finding it.
Please help.Hi and welcome,
the ideapad as consumer-line has no part list ....as the thinkpads have...

What is the motherboard part number for hp dv6-3037tx?
I have a bricked laptop and would like to buy a replacement motherboard
What is the motherboard part number for hp dv6-3037tx notebook PC?
Laptop product number is WY285PA.
And also, will the replacement motherboard be identical to the old one (i.e. same GPU). I don't want to get a new motherboard with a crappy GPU, my old one was great.
ThanksHi:
I can't find any specs on your notebook to pinpoint the motherboard you need.
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook series.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02657339.pdf
See chapter 3, pages 22 and 23.
If you know your processor, GPU, and what wireless device you have, you should be able to select the exact part # you need.
