When I click on a drop down menu, such as one to find properties or to copy/cut, the shadow is left on the desktop.

That's a little more than a shadow! Regardless, let's try to reload your display driver. Given what's happening, go into 'Control Panel - Programs and Features' and uninstall any ATI software you see there. Then, go into Device Manager by clicking on 'Start' and then typing in devmgmt.msc and click on that file. Next, click on the arrow beside 'Display adapters', then right click on the 'ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics', and click on 'Uninstall', then click 'OK' to confirm uninstall.
Then download the appropriate driver to your desktop and double click on it to install. If you are still running Vista install the Vista driver, if you are now running Windows 7, install the Win7 driver.

You will find that this is application dependent. Most Apple applications such as Safari and Mail will use the "sheet" type of dialog boxes that you are referring. There is no way for the user to change that behavior. Other, non-Apple, applications like Firefox use a "modal" dialog box for printing etc. The modal boxes can be moved around so you can see the page behind.

Phone reception HORRIBLE, have to select from drop down menus 2x and INTERNET now freezes and is VERY SLOW SINCE NK1 UPDATE a week ago, no problems prior

I have had my Note 3 since about 14 months now and have loved it until the last Verizon update. Since the update my reception is very poor / "breaks up" in my shop. I spent 2 hours saving everything to my cloud, reset the phone and the same problems still exist. Please help me find a solution to my problems ASAP

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Firefox won't let me select options from drop down menus, on the previous version nor on the current 4.0 version that I just downloaded.

If I am on a site and trying to get information etc, and I have to choose from a drop down menu of any kind, Firefox won't let me choose anything. I can't answer the next question regarding This Happened because I can't select from your drop down.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Leave to selection screen from drill down ALV

Hi Guys,
I am doing an interactive ALV report. In that, if I click on SAVE button in second interactive ALV, it should go to the selection-screen.
The flow of the program is something like below.
Selection-screen --> Main Report --> Detailed Report -- Click SAVE --> Goto Selection-screen.
I tried LEAVE TO SCREEN 0, LEAVE LIST-PROCESSING,.. Its all going only to the previous screen (Main Report), not going to the selection-screen. If I say, CALL SCREEN 1000, it is throwing an exception DYNPRO_NOT_FOUND
Please help me on this issue.

Define a transaction code (XXX) for the report.
Use LEAVE TO TRANSACTION 'XXX'. (All CAPS in colons)
This will take you to the selection screen.

Satellite P505D-S8935 Audio sound is distorted with WoW & Flutter

Since the first day of purchasing this laptop, when playing music, the music is distorted with Wow & Flutter - in that that volume fluctuates up and down, making for a disturbing sound quality. I purchased this laptop with Vista Home Premium and just upgraded to Windows 7 and was hoping the upgrade with solve the issue. No Luck?! Any idea what is wrong? Drivers? Sound Card?
Please HELP! I like this laptop with the Wide Screen - but, the sound quality is terrible!

Open Services (services.msc). Verify that the Windows Audio and the Windows Audio Endpoint Builder services are Started. If not, come back here.
If so, can't hurt to reinstall the driver. Try them both if necessary.

In layout editor please select listbox in dropdown attribute of input field and put some fctcode attribute

Selection Screen Bug :: Drop Down List.

I have created the following ABAP Report. I am new at this and I have just hit an issue. I have two drop down boxes linked to transactions. Now when I select a report from Drop Down 1 and click it it goes to the transaction. Now if I also have a selection in Drop Down 2 it actually runs both transactions.
How can i fix this?

Must select name from Drop Down menu

I have a form that has two drop down menus. One of the menus
asks the user to "Select A Name" from the lst. What is happening is
that the user simply ignores the list and goes to the next field.
Is there any way to require that the user slect a name, and not
simply have the default title "SELECT A NAME" appear in the
completed form response?
Any help would be appreciated.

Just want to know how to "Hide Unsorted Bookmarks from Drop-down Menu" ...

Best would be to move all bookmarks in the Unsorted Bookmarks folder to a folder in the Bookmark Menu folder or the Bookmarks Toolbar.
That would only leave you with the menu entry.
Clicking the star in the location bar will bookmark the page in the "Unsorted Bookmarks" folder and the star turns yellow (blue on Mac) to show that.<br />
Click the highlighted star a second time to open the "Edit This Bookmark" pop-up and move the bookmark to another folder or edit the name.

Inactive field "Project Versions' - from drop down

I have created two versions of project through Tcode CN41. When I am looking for comparision, the field Project Versions from drop down is Inactive ie Edit >Comparisations > Project Versions. I am sure that I am missing somethig but unable to detect the same to activate Project Versions.
Would appreciate any one can help me to find out how to get activation of Project Version from drop down.Reward points can be awarded for suitable solution.

Hi Sudhakar,
I guess you are referring to project versions, not CO versions...
In this case, please make sure you select at least one version and the current data in the selection screen or more than one versions in the selection screen.
You need to select the versions in the selection screen in order to compare them.
If you cannot find the relevant fields to enter the selected version in the selection
screen, please call the database profile and tick the flag on "version data".

Try Mail>Preferences>Accounts icon>Account Information tab>Click on the Outgoing SMTP server drop down, choose edit Server list, highlight the old one & click Remove.
(Such convolution is worthy of Windows® in my estimation)

You can get the value of selected from drop down as below
Check out the event handler method attached to Onselect event of the ui element drop down by index , if no event is associated, then create an event and attach to the drop down list
Now you will be having the CONTEXT_ELEMENT in the WDEVENT parameter
               data lo_element type ref to if_wd_context_element.
               lo_element = wdevent->get_context_element( name = 'CONTEXT_ELEMENT').
Now, you can get the static attribute value of selected drop down value & let us say your drop down list values are populated from context node 'ND_DRP_DOWN'
               data ls_data type wd_this->element_nd_drp_down.
                         lo_element->get_static_attributes(
                                   importing
                                   static_attributes = ls_data ).

Create a node with cardinality 0-n and selection property set to 0-n
Create a table UI element and bind this node as a datasource to this table.
Set the selection mode property of this table as auto or multi
Once this is done, populate the node with some data elements.
When you run the application, you will be able to select multiple rows from the table.
To get the selected rows, use below code on the action of some button
