Satellite Pro restores all settings to default everytime I restart it

I plugged my iPod into my laptop and iTunes started to crash, it sounded like a cd skipping. I left it for a few mins expecting it to sort itself out but it didnt, so I held down the power key to turn it off.
When it restarted everything on the desktop had disappeared and the Background was its original Toshiba one.
I was worried that all my data had been wiped but I managed to access my docs etc through C drive. I sorted everything out, and reinstalled the programs it had uninstalled but when I restarted it again it had happened again!
I have absolutely no idea what to do to sort this prob out :(

Sounds like the file system may be corrupted.
Go to a Command Prompt and type:
CHKDSK C: /F
If it still happens, then Windows may be restoring back to a previous state. You might want to try disabling System Restore temporarily to sort out the problem:
Turn off system restore
backup your iTunes Music Folder to another HDD
uninstall itunes
log into your usual Windows User Account
Re-enable System Restore (just in case the programs you are installing are causing a problem, such as a major BSOD or data corruption)
Reinstall your missing programs and iTunes

Restored all settings and data to set up again

i have restored all the settings and data then entered my apple id to set up again but it says again and again multiple accounts have been activated on this iphone.
so do i need create new one apple id to set up my iphone 4S with itunes, icloud services.
if the current id is getting this error to set up iphone then how should i get my data which is purchased on the current id or how to troubleshoot with this, or how i would get it through to connecting with itunes.
i still get this error when being logged in to set up all this.

the issue may be the iphone itself...ios devices has a limit of how many apple ids it can be associated with in its lifetime...before creating a new one i would call Apple so they can check and see in their system..becuase if thats the case creating a new apple id wont help

IPhone 4s stuck in bootloop after "restore all settings"

Recently, I tried to use the "Restore All Setings" on my iPhone 4S (non-jailbroken), and after it finished, it got stuck in a reboot loop and has been stuck like that for three days. I was wondering how to fix it (If possible without an iTunes Restore) and why this might have happened.

All plugins are disabled by default everytime forefox restarts.

Everytime I launch mozilla firefox (most up to date version) with no custom theme installed. It opens up with all Extentions disabled. So far I have 4 plugins (adblock, idm, bitdefender and real player) Plugin works ok.
Each time I have to manually go to options and enable plugins then restart. This only only occur with my Desktop my other desktop and laptop works fine.
How can I fix this issue so each time I launch firefox all plugins are enabled unless I have disabled them.
I am using Windows 7 Premium.

Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

What error do you receive when trying to activate?
Are you using the same Carrier as your friend, or a different one?
If different Carrier, are you certain the iPhone is unlocked? A locked device will of course prevent you from using SIM cards not from the Original Carrier that the device was locked too.

So you have to turn of your ipod touch then unplug it from the computer but leave the other end of the cable connected.
Thn you have to hold the home button and plug in the cable at the same time and it will come up on itunes (must have it already open)
ipod touch/iphone needs to be restored.
click "ok" then "restor" then let the magic do the work.

Is it possible to recover anything after using "restore all settings and content" button?

Anyone has any idea about this? The iPod Touch has not been linked to iTunes yet.

Satellite Pro P750: LAN settings greyed out

I just installed my new P750/2r running 64 bit Windows 7 onto my domain and found that I can not connect IE version 8 as the LAN settings (under Tools/ Internet Options/ connection) are greyed out for Automativ scripting and Proxy settings.
I log in an adminstrator and as a local user but they are stilled greyed out. I have a work around happening at the moment by installing Firefox which is fine (however it is a pain using two system).
I went online to Microsoft and they stated it was a Toshiba issue.

I can't print ANYTHING post-4.0; how can I restore ALL settings?

After having installed 4.0 I can no longer print ANYTHING. Having read a variety of comments re problems printing with 4.0, I have uninstalled 4.0 and reinstalled 3.6. But even having done this, I can print NO documents - not only nothing from Mozilla, but no Word docs or PDFs either. I get an ERROR message every time I send a document to the printer. I have gone through all the other ?s about this but don't see any answers that offer a solution. Help.

Satellite Pro C50-A-1MM - "no bootable device Please restart system"

Laptop had some 'important Microsoft upgrades' yesterday which I tried to install. Laptop died and when I started it up again, said 'checking pc diagnostics'.
It has advised I am getting an 'automatic fix' for last 12 hours. now stating ' no bootable device- pleasecrestart system. I am not very computer literate so looking for some advice on what has happened and how and what I need to do now?

The message no bootable device - please restarts system means that no system (Windows) has been found on the HDD and therefore the notebook does not boot up.
There are different reasons for that. First of all this may occur in case of HDD malfunction. For example if the HDD is fault and does not appear in BIOS. Therefore as recommended by Dr.Lamp, check if the HDD is viable in the BIOS (first BIOS page).
If the HDD appears in BIOS, well, then there might be a problem with the system partition.
It could be possible that the system partition has been muddled up and therefore the system cannot be found.
In this case the easiest solution would be a new OS installation.
Do you have a recovery disk?
If yes, take it an reinstall the system but note: this would format the HDD and of course, all the personal data will be lost.

Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Continue button.
