I have problem in my laptop Satellite Pro U200 when I need to use Disc Creator (audio CD)

It seems this is a common error message if an application doesnt run as it should.
According to this short error, the applications or process called ToDisc.exe has crashed. This file belongs to the Toshiba Disc Creator software.
In my opinion its really not easy to say why it happens but my first idea is that your have used a not compatible or not fully supported CD or DVD to burn the Toshiba image.
The image is really a big file and therefore you should use a DVD medium. Please check the user manual to get more details!!!
Ive got additional advice; try to use different DVD from different manufacturers because sometimes not all mediums are supported.

Believe me; its not easy to say exactly why the BSOD appears.
Generally it happens because of the serious software malfunction or hardware fault.
Did you use the OS from the Toshiba image?
There message says something about sysaudio.sys.
This file is a system audio WDM filter process and its a part of Windows OS. It controls the hardware like printer or graphic card on a lower level.
Note: The virus uses such files as a camouflage. You should use always a anti virus application.
Furthermore you have suggested that the notebook shuts down after 5 min.
Well, this sounds like a overheating issue. How did you use the notebook? You should know that the free space around the notebook is very important because of the air circulation. The ventilators should be also free.
I you use the notebook in the right position and this will happen again so I would recommend asking the Toshiba service partner for the help. They should check the notebook.

If you are referring to CheckDisk, just let it run through and it should stop running after that, until the system crashes or the power shuts off while in Windows.
If it keeps on appearing, test the Hard Disk for errors by using DFT.
DFT Download: http://www.hitachigst.com/hdd/support/download.htm#DFT
Download the ISO File and burn it to a CD-R Disc (There is also a Floppy Disk version if that's easier).
If you dont know how to burn an ISO file, read this guide: http://www.petri.co.il/how_to_write_iso_files_to_cd.htm
Restart your laptop and boot from the DFT Disc.
Choose the "Advanced" Test and let it run (it may take an hour or so).
If you see a red message box, the HDD is faulty.
An error code 0x70 means there are bad sectors and the HDD needs replacing.

The USB mouse will not initialize on boot-up when used via Dynadock on Satellite Pro U200. If the mouse is reseated on the Dynadock it works fine. I am using a Kensington Valuoptical USB mouse. I have tried alternative kensington mouse and had the same problem. Can anyone advise how to resolve this issue?

Unfortunately I have no solution for your issue but it can also be some technical limitation. I am also interesting to buy such docking station and I would like to know if there is the same problem with external HDD or USB memory sticks.

After a long investigation I found out that the Tosrfcom service is a part of the Toshiba Bluetooth. It must be a Bluetooth RFCOMM driver.
The driver was installed in the registry under this entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SYSTEM\ CurrentControlSet\ Services\ Tosrfcom
I dont see many solution ways
Try to remove the BT stack and download the newest one from the Toshiba Bluetooth center.

Im not Satellite Pro U200 owner but I assume the normal Windows image viewer is installed.
But I dont understand the reason of your question. You can install and uninstall what you want so doesnt be worry about this! ;)

Graphic Driver on Satellite Pro U200 (Vista Business 32bit CZECH)

I experience two problems with my gfx driver.
1) When recovering from Standby, the display goes to 1024x768 instead of going back to 1280x800
2) When playing Lineage 2, the game crashes to Desktop and I get the error message "Display driver igfx stopped responding and was recovered". After googling a little, i figured out a new display driver for my Intel 945GM Express would resolve the problem. So I downloaded the proper driver from intel.com but I can't install it. I'm getting an error message saying "Installed driver is not verified for this computer. Ask the computer manufacturer for the appropriate driver." So I went to the toshiba website and I've downloaded the appropriate driver from there (well, the one on toshiba.com is not the latest, intel.com has a newer one). But when I tried to install it, I got the message that my computer does not meet the minimum requirements for the installation! What does this mean?! I've read the readme file and my laptop definitely meets the requirements, besides the driver I've downloaded has to be working for the Satellite Pro U200, because I've entered all the needed info for downloading the driver.
So can someone please solve my problem? And if not, is there a toshiba support hotline or something where i can call?

1st: Download the latest driver from the iNTEL-Page.
2nd: !UNINSTALL! the old one, under Add/remove Programs.
3rd: Reboot.
4th: Install the new driver.
5th: Reboot.
6th: Pray ;)
Good Luck. The error comes only when you try to install a new driver over another old one (which is from Toshiba). But Toshiba is never up-to-date when it comes to drivers, so better look for wireless, display and chipset always on the intel page!

On this Toshiba site you will be able to find the compatible and supported devices.
If your notebook supports a slot at the bottom for a connection to the port replicator so you can use the docking station or port replicator as a additional device.

Just download it and try to install it. I cannot imagine that it wont work, Ive upgraded my A100 some time ago and everything works great.

The most common cause for "Bad Checksum" errors is the CMOS battery malfunction on the motherboard.
The battery could be empty or could simply be dead. But its really not easy to say whats wrong exactly!
Therefore I would recommend firstly to access the BIOS and to set it to default settings. Dont forget to save the changes.
Furthermore you should connect the AC adaptor and should let it connected for about 24hours to recharge the CMOS battery.
Maybe it helps to get rid of this error message.
If it doesnt help, then you should contact a notebook technician!

All Toshiba stuff available on download page is the same as in recovery image.
All tools are tested and I don't see any reason why you should not be able to install this utility.
Is some error message shown?

What is the difference between Satellite Pro 4200 and 4300 series?

As mentioned in another thread, I have a SP4220XCDT that died on me.
I bought a mobo from ebay which was from a 4290, and today it arrived, but the problem was that it has a seemingly fixed CPU, which stands out much less from the board than the one on the 4220 board, and therefore does not connect with the cooling mechanism from my 4220.
At least something comes on when I start up now, but unfortunately it doesn't get past the Toshiba screen which tells you to press F2 for boot sequence.
Having also spent money on memory and a new cpu, I don't want to let this one go, and have seen a motherboard available suitable for a 4320/40/60 - anyone know if this will fit in with the rest of my 4220? It doesn't have a cpu so presumably will have the same mechanism as the 4220 mainboard.
I'm assuming that these might be compatible since I have managed to find a pdf of a service manual which covers both the 4200 and 4300, although unfortunately the first page is missing so I dont' know if that highlights any differences.
It's frustrating that there are no pdfs available for these older models, at least with specs on them, and it's very hard to find any info.

As far as I know both series uses the Intel Mobile Pentium III microprocessor with MMX?Technology.

The notebooks measures should be also the same. So in my opinion it should be possible to use the same motherboard in Satellite Pro 4200 and 4300.

PCMCIA is not working properly on Satellite Pro U200 with Vista

Hi I have upgraded to Vista home premium on U200 and so far almost everything is fine.
I do however have 2 issues relating to PCMCIA that are bugging me:
- Any PCMCIA card inserted causes the machine to slow down drastically and mouse movement etc becomes juddery. This is particularly bad if I insert a Toshiba PCMCIA hard drive or a card reader.
- I havea PCMCIA digital TV card for which I cannot find Vista drivers. It works fine with the XP drivers however i get awful screeching sounds and high pitched beeps for a minute or so every time I change channel. The card is a generic card from an OEM provider.
Any help appreciated.

Did you try to update the BIOS or change the settings in the BIOS?
The Pro u200 was delivered with Toshiba BIOS I hope
On the second BIOS page you could try to change the PC card controller mode. Maybe you will notice any improvements.
For Vista PCMCIA digital TV card driver you should ask the card manufacture or visit the support page sorry this is everything what I can suggest

Satellite Pro P100 - Synaptics touchpad issue using Win 7

Satellite Pro P100 with Synaptics touch pad, was running Vista, now Win 7 64 bit.
The original driver had an option "disable when external pointing device connected".
I have installed a driver from Synaptics Synaptics_v14_0_3_C_XP64_Vista64_Win7-64_Signed_default.exe which does not have this check box.
It works fine except that sometimes the Microsoft Mouse turns off and on every few seconds as it or the touchpad fight each. I have to disable the touchpad.
Then next time I turn on. If I do so without a mouse, I cannot use the touchpad, until i plug in the mouse, reactivate, then unplug the mouse.

Sorry, but this problem is reccurring more frequently (like every 2 or 3 days). The driver you recommend does not have the "disable touchpad when external mouse connected", nor does the Fn+F9 button work. Both touchpad and mouse are active at the same time with the result that the mouse becomes active, inactive, active, inactive every few seconds, and is that happens the secondary monitor goes blank (which is normal when new drivers are being installed, such as for an unrecognised flash drive). Thanks.
