Satellite U920T - front/back cam + touch screen + win button doesn't work

I have the issue that the touch screen + front camera + back camera + windows button on the screen are not working.
I tried installing the display/graphics drivers but that did not helped.
I bought this laptop from Saudi Arabia and it is still under warranty but I am out of country so i cant claim the warranty as well.
someone please sort out this issue and tell me the solution or tell me what i should do?
Help will be really appreciated.
some details about my laptop:
Toshiba Satellite U920T-B919.
windows 8.1 update 64 bit.
Thanks,

Since you mentioned different issues with your notebook, I think that in this case its advisable to recover the notebook back to factory settings just to check if all these problems are related to system problem.
Regarding the webcam: the Windows 8 /8.1 already contains the webcam drivers and therefore additional webcam driver installation isnt possible. Additional webcam driver does not exist simply.
From my point of few the whole description smells a little bit like a hardware problem of the upper slide part where the touchscreen is part of.
The win button as well as the both cams are located there and probably there is some lose connection between the two parts (touchscreen and keyboard)
Anyway, as I said above, its advisable to recover the notebook to factory settings just to ensure that the system isnt the troublemaker.
In case of hardware problems, you would need to get in contact with service available in your country.

  • My iPhone died and wont turn back on. My home button doesn't work to reboot it.

It died last night and I put it on the charger and nothing happens not even the battery symbol comes up. I do have the iOS 7. I can't restart it because my home button doesn't work and i have to use assistive touch. It won't show up on itunes when i tried to plug it in. It's not the charger because it works on my other i-devices. I have an iphone 4.

If the screen and iPod does not show any life then letting the batter drain will not do anything.
If you tried another cable and tried ReBoot on another computer and still problem then your iPod has to be repaired/replaced

  • IPod Touch 4G Home button doesn't work

I bought my iPod Touch 4G in January of 2011, so I've had it for a little over a year now.
Recently, the home button has been finicky (I had to press it repeatedly for  it to respond sometimes) and today it stopped working all together. I restored it, hoping that it was the iPod itself, but it still doesn't work. It's not stuck or anything, because I'm able to press it all the way down.
If I were to take it into the Apple store, would I have to pay to have it fixed (I never bought a warranty)? I've never dropped it or anything either.

Apple does not repair your iPod. They will exchange yours for a refurbished one for $99, $149 or $199 depending upon the capacity.

  • My ipod turned off and won't turn back on, help! Home button doesn't work and neither does Recboot!

Hello! So I've had my Generation 5 IPOD for nearly two years. Tonight after a shower I tried to charge my IPOD (thinking it had just died because it was short on battery anyway) but it didn't turn on. I would reboot it by pressing the power and home button but sad to say, my home button stopped working about a month ago. : ( After this, I tried connecting it to a charger, two computers AND I downloaded Recboot with the extensions for a PC/Windows, it still did not want to connect. I'm not sure what to do besides maybe taking it to a Apple Store and getting the home button fixed and try to reboot it manually as I always have in the past. Any advice? Right now it's black with no signs of connecting to any machines. If I can't get the home button fixed, could I wait until the battery drains for it to just get recharge? If so how long does it take for the IPOD battery to just die so I can do this? Granted it was always sorta dying before this happened (it was red.) so it shouldn't or wouldn't take too long right?
Please! : ( Any help would be appreciated. I live in a small town and the closet Apple store is about an hour away.

  • IPod Touch Sleep/Wake Button doesn't work

I have an earlier model 8gb touch and the power button hasn't been working for a long time. It worked for a while after purchase but now has no functionality and won't turn off or sleep. I've installed all the provided firmware updates and mostly only listen to music on it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The buttons should have as soft click when pushed. If you do not feel the click, try giggling and pushing the button to see if you can free it up. It's mechanical button, if you get something like pop in and around the button, it can freeze up.

  • The front and back camera on my itouch second generation stopped working. Any thoughts on how to fix it?

The front and back camera on my itouch second generation stopped working. Any thoughts on how to fix it?

First, try to reset the device by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting.
If this does not work, set it up as new device again, explained in this article:
How to back up your data and set up as a new device
If still no luck, get it serviced, the issue might not be software related.

  • My screen if frozen and I can't shut off my phone. I already have my assistiave touch button on my screen but it still own't let me shut off my phone. And my lock button doesn't work either

My screen is frozen on the camera and my phone won't let me shut it off. My lock button doesn't work and my assistance touch button won't let me shut it down either. My phone also takes hours to die and my battery if fully charged so i can't wait for it to die i need to get it back to normal asap! How do I get it to unfreeze?

A reset is when you press and hold both the home and sleep buttons for 10 seconds or so until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose any data. Give it a try.

Given the information supplied, it sounds very similar to what happened to my wife's 4.  Locked up...came back on with a blank (bluish) screen...could here emails and text coming through.  It would get very hot as well.  Our local apple store tried two times to rescue it, ultimately rendering it complete inoperable.  I'm sorry to say in our case we had to buy a refurb and trade in the phone for $150, which actually wasn't a bad deal.
There could be other information I'm missing, but I would start with seeing if apple can restore your phone.  If they can't, then I'm pretty sure it's dead.

My IPod touch 4g screen is FROZEN turned white , with green , white & yellow lines .
No connect to itunes , OnOff button & home button DOESN`T WORK? -
While installing an update for my IPod touch 4g ( that I`ve had for around over a year )
and turned it off while it was " updating " . I turned it on a while after ,
and it was on the apple symbol and then suddenly went to the white screen with the green ,
white and yellow lines from top to bottom . I`ve waited around 2 and a half hours for it to go back .
I`ve tried to connect it to itunes , but won`t connect nor effect the ipod screen .
I`ve also tried the on and off button held and holding the home button as well .
Nothing is working and I`m begging to worry .  it's my baby sister's ipod and she's crying already she doesn't know
    what to do....

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
