Satellite X200-1AA - After recovery I have the previous BIOS version?

I recently updated the BIOS of my Toshiba Satellite X200 1AA with Windows Vista SP!. After a few days, I made a product recovery using the recovery CD. When the recovery is made, does the BIOS return to the previous version?

No, the BIOS dont return to the previous version. The Toshiba recovery disk contains the factory settings of the software on your notebook and not the BIOS. The BIOS has nothing to do with the software on your notebook.
So dont worry, the recovery disk doesnt touch the BIOS and you have still the new version.

The way how to back up the bios :
Install the 14cn38WW.exe which can be download from the Lenovo side. then run the winPhlalsh.exe ,choose the button "backup bios only"....

Where can I find the previous BIOS version to 2.54?

I accidentally updated the BIOS for my Lenovo E430. I want to backtrack on the BIOS , so I need the previous verison. Does anyone know the number of the previous version and where I can find it on the Lenovo website?

If you select either the bootable CD or Windows updater link and scroll to the bottom of the resulting page, you'll see a grid of previous versions, along with their documentation files.
As with any BIOS update, please review the documentation thoroughly.

I've restored my P200-1BY because of wifi problems and it seems that now my partition Data is named E:
I think it was named D: which would be logical, but I'm not sure. Is it normal ?

The whole situation depends on how many HDD partitions you have. Sorry but you didnt explan the exact situation in Windows explorer and nobody of us know what you mean with partition E.
Anyway there is no reason for panic. In Disc Management you can do with your partitions what you want. Make it optimal for usage.

I have a Satellite X200 1AA notebook with Windows Vista Premium SP1 and I received through Windows Update the following optional updating notification:
"TOSHIBA x64 ACPI-Compliant Value Added Logical and General Purpose Device".
What device is this? What does it do? Should I install it?

When you check Microsoft updates you will see several optional updates for WLAN card, LAN card, Synaptics TouchPad and c64 ACPI....
I don't want to do any updates for these devices because all tested drivers are installed and this update can change something and maybe make some problems.
I have removed check mark in front of these update options. In my opinion you should do the same.
If notebook runs well (all listed components) you don't need such updates.

I get that the preview file got corrupted somehow. Is there some way to fix this problem without building a new catalog?

Use Windows Explorer to open the folder containing your catalog. You will see a folder with the extension .lrdata. You need to delete that folder and then start Lightroom again. Lightroom will generate a new previews folder.

Find a way to contact whoever you bought it from. If you can't do that, turn it over to the police. The phone is probably stolen. There is NO WAY past the activation lock without the credentials for the Apple ID that was used to lock it.

First of all the BIOS update is not necessary if your notebook functions correctly.
But back to your questions;
On the Toshiba European driver page you will find all available drivers and also the newest available BIOS. At this time it seems to be a 3.10-WIN version
How to find out the BIOS version?
This is very easy you have to access the BIOS and then you could see the BIOS version.
To access the BIOS you have to press the F2 button immediately after notebook was started.

What model year it the Mac you have? If it is a Late 2011 or newer model then you can first reinstall the Original version of OS X that came on it by using the Online Internet Recovery system. Hold down the Command+Option/Alt+r key at startup and hold them down until you see a Spinning Globe in the center of the screen. From the screen that comes up use Disk Utility to Repartition the drive as one partition aand when that is done close DU and Select Reinstall Mac OS X.
If it is older then a late 2011 model then you will need the Original System disks for that Mac. These can be order from Apple for a small charge.
