Save a vi from 9.0 to 8.6

I have another vi that I can't load because my version of LabVIEW is too old. Can someone save this to LabVIEW 8.6 for me? It probably requires some USB drivers which I already have.

When I save a picture from my email to My Pictures the picture doesn't appear. A box appears in My Pictures that shows Internet Explorer (E) and no picture of what I tried to save. Which method are you using to save the picture? Typically it works to right-click and use Save Image As.
If that option is not available or does not work, is the image a link (for example a small thumbnail image linked to a larger version)? In that case, you might try Ctrl+clicking the link to open the image in a new tab and see whether you can then save it successfully.

I have a form containing a block of records with files set up in a tabular layout. Each row has a checkbox to indicate if that row is selected. What I want to do is allow the user to save each file from checked rows to a directory of their choice on their machine when a button is pressed. Is it possible to do this in one command at the same time using WEBUTIL_FILE to save all the selected files to the same directory, or would I need to loop through each row and call the save dialog each time?

I'm not sure I follow. The SAVE_DIALOG is building the path including the filename where the files will be saved. If I have 5 different files I want to save at the same time and only show the dialog once, I will only have a path for one of the files. How could I loop through the rest afterwards?

One of the most recommended is Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
Other free programs are Pod Player, SharePod and Floola and iDump andiPodRobot.
If you want to recover just the structure of playlists from the iPod (and not the actual song files themselves), there's iRepo for Windows. which I understand has this feature along with all the standard features for these programs.
iPodRip also has the feature enabling you to reconstruct playlists.
There is also CopyTrans. This does preserve ratings/playcounts etc if those are important to you but this program is not free. It also supports video transfer.

Now a days we are saving / extracting data in a excel spreadsheet, but we would like to do that using a database because it is better.

You can use ODBC connection to work with SQL Server database.
Use SQLExec object to execute the SQL statement. Here is a KB about the SQL statement.

To write data to spreadsheet is more straightforward because Lookout has built-in spreadsheet object. But you need to write SQL statement by yourself to interact with other database.
To read the data back is the same way. Just use "select" SQL statement to query. You can use Datatable object to query.
The "Data Source" can be "DSN = data source name;". The data source name is configured in Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Data Sources(ODBC).

I require to design the Procedure which will pull the data from various tables and needs to store the data in the Client's local directory.

Since SQL*PLUS runs on the client, you can use SQL*PLUS to spool data to your local drive.
You could also use the database to write a a specified drive where all users have access to (mapped network drive, e.g.). I wouldn't recommend doing it that way, but it is sometimes useful when the files are created in some nightly batch run.

When the update fails what if any error report do you get, specifically? Please do this before trying again:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.

What happened is that version 1.0 of the security update was available for a bit of time this weekend, and that disabled Rosetta. Version 1.1 brought it back.

Everytime I save a file from chrome it wants to save it with a (1) at the end of the file name. It is extremely frustrating since I save hundreds of pdf files every month.
It is the first time opening the file so it shouldn't be reverting to adding a (1) every time.
I have chrome Version 28.0.1500.95 m

Chrome does not use Adobe Reader to view or save PDF files. It does it all itself.
Similarly FireFox, though it can be told to use Adobe Reader to view PDF files, doesn't do so by default. And Adobe Reader has nothing to do with saving.
