Save and send malfunctioning

i am using microsoft office 2010 and windows 7. no network.
in the last month or so "save and send" from word, excel and adobe pdf's have been malfunctioning. each of these programs delivers to my outlook 2010 outbox and thereafter to the sent box BUT the email is NOT sent - even though it shows in the
sent box!!  emails generated within outlook with the same attachments send perfectly. this is very disturbing as there is no error feedback so you assume the email has been sent when it has NOT. this is a repeatable error and occurs every time.
i have tried repairing office from within the control panel/programs/change/repair and i have scan.pst the outlook data file. but this has made no difference.
please can you assist with this serious problem?
many thanks

here is extract from OPMLog.log when trying save and send from word:

  • Office 2010 MUI in Finnish and Save and Send function not working after upgrading to Lync 2013 MUI

    Problem is as follows. Used to have Office 2010, Outlook 2010 and Lync 2010, everything was working. People used it in Finnish and seemly quite a many of them used the Talleta ja lähetä (Save and Send in Finnish) in Office products.
    After upgrading Lync to 2013 version, with Finnish language pack installed with it, the Save and send does not work in Office 2010 if it is used with Finnish as display language. When you try to use it you get a Mapi error and reason is undefined or something,
    hard to say what it is exactly in english as the error message is in finnish. On those machines if the display language is changed back to english the Save and send works as it should.
    Any ideas?

    The problem was caused by the Language Packs for Lync 2013 or Office 2013. Without them all works.
    And if you want to just unisntall the 2013 lang packs, then you also need to repair install the office 2010 ones to make it work again.

  • Save and Send to Sharepoint error

    I'm using Microsoft Word 2010 and a sharepoint 2010 site.
    And I'm having troubles with file locations when saving files back to sharepoint library.
    First, when I open a file from sharepoint site, edit and try to save, the default location is not the location of the library the file was at.
    If I try to do 'File>Save and Send> Save to Sharepoint' and select a recent location,
    or if I click onfind location, I get the following error message:
    Could not Find http://xxxxx.xxx/DocumentLibraryA/FolderA
    The only way I'm able to save is via 'File>Save as' and input the url on
    the file name field.
    This issue is not happening with every computer I try to open files from sharepoint. On some other computers, I am able to open the file from the library and it comes with the default location, and if I do 'File>Save
    and Send> Save to Sharepoint', it opens normaly.
    Does anyone knows how to fix this?

    Hi,
    Please try to add the "Desktop Experience" feature in your computer.
    Go to All Programs –> Administrative Tools –> Server Manager. Choose Features –> Add Features
    Next, check the "Desktop Experience" feature. On the popup, choose "Add Required Features".

  • Email Security Plug-in - Doesn't seem to work with right click or save and send

    I've searched the knowledge base but have not located the answer yet.
    We have the Encrypt Message plug-in installed to flag the email [SEND SECURE].  This works very well when in Outlook.  It does not seem to work when right clicking a file to send outside of Outlook or performing Save and Send from within Microsoft Office.  The add-in still shows and users are clicking it and the Send button but the emails are not going securely.  We are on Microsoft2010 on mostly XP machines.
    How can I get Encrypt Message to work in all instances?
    Thank you.

  • Validation at "Save and Send for approval" in Create Expense Report

    Hello gurus,
    I have an issue where in at Create Expense report we have two options:
    1. Save
    2. Save and Send for Approval.
    When this trip is SAVED and SEND FOR APPROVAL the validation should trigger and error message should appear if expense type XXXX is used in any of the line item of the trip.
    I have been told that this can be done by  user exit at the backend level. But, at the frontend we will have to make some changes as well.
    I know WD JAVA, but a little short on knowledge in WD ABAP.
    Could you please help me by telling me as to how to do a validation in this scenario or even if its necessary to do it ?? I mean, is it possible that the backend validation will hold true if someone will create a expense report from the frontend as well ??
    Please explain me ...

  • Change Expense report default to Save and Send

    I have been looking for a way to override the default in an expense report to be the Save and Send radio button instead of the Save radio button.
    I have worked within the configuration and the FITE_EXPENSES webdynpro configuration, but cannot identify any area to change this.  Has anyone been able to override this SAP standard default to go to Save and Send?
    JLM

    There is no setting in standard to make "save and send" the default setting, but how about the option of also hiding the 'save' radio button via the content administration, that is one possibility?
    I also saw a suggestion to add modificationby adding an implicit enhancement implementation before the end method statement of the mehtod CONFIGURESAVESTATUS of the component controller of view fite_vc_review. example
    for the enhancement:
    elem_generaldata->set_attribute(
          exporting
            name =  `SETTL_STATUS`
            value = cl_fitv_constants=>gc_settled_status_requested ).
    Of course this is a modification however..
    Also check your setting for tcode PE03 for feature TRVPA for WRP, here you can select various status' on save"
    The documentation in PE03 explains more
    "Entry "WRP" for Employee Self-Service:
    The entry "WRP" allows you to control the dialog for saving a trip. The
    settings apply to the Employee Self-Service (ESS). With some statuses, a
    distinction must be made between the process steps "Temporary Save" and
    "Save and Send."
    Hope these suggestions help.

  • Infopath 2010 Save and Send does not attach .xsn file

    Hello all, last year we had departments using the "Save and Send" to send their filler forms to a mail box, since that time we have upgraded from 2007 to 2010 InfoPath. Now when the Save and Send feature is used just the xml file is attached?
    Any help? thanks

    after a little discovery, my biggest problem is I have InfoPath 2010 and Outlook 2013.  On a machine with IP 2010 and Outlook 2010 I tested and found only "Restricted" forms allow the template to be sent using Save and Send.
    This setting is in the Options/Security and trust.
    As long as you have Options/Email attachments set to Form and template + Options/Security and trust set to restricted + matching versions of outlook and InfoPath it works fine.  This was nothing more than user error on my part

  • How to save and send a form?

    Okay, this is driving me NUTS.
    I created a fillable form, closed the form for editing and hit file >save.
    Went to my desktop, double clicked on the pdf and it opened in Adobe Reader. No interactivity. Can't type anything in the form.
    So then I went back in and hit distribute, saved the file to my desktop and tried again. Nope. Still can't open it up and type in it.
    What am I doing wrong? I feel so stupid right now. I just want to make a PDF where people can fill out the fields and send it. I've followed guide after guide and it works in the acrobat preview, but not in adobe reader!

    I remember this happening to me before.  If I'm not mistaken (I may be wrong), I believe you have to open the .pdf, click "file, save as, and "reader extended PDF" --- I am pretty sure that's what has to happen.

  • Customers are not able to open my Quote form I save and send on email.

    I need your help.  I have a company provided quote form that is fillable with information that I save and email to clients.  I have had many customers say that they cannot open and see the quote I have attached to their email.  What am I doing wrong or missing?  Please help.  Dan

    Sorry for the delay; the new forum software does not make it easy to find old topics.  But it's getting slowly better...
    The forms you are sending out are PDF docs?  How exactly are the recipients open them?
    There are so many ways people receive emails that some are just bound to fail.  E.g. if users use web-based mail, they may open it in a browser like Chrome or Firefox, which both use their own PDF viewer - not the Adobe Reader plugin.
    Some people may open their mail on their mobile phone, which may or may not have Adobe Reader installed.  Many other combinations are possible.
    My advice: don't send e-documents as email attachments, but use a file sharing service like Adobe Acrobat.com and upload, then share the docs with the intended recipients.

  • I am on a job application wedsite powered by SuccessFactors. I have completed the application but cannot get back down to the bottom of the page for me to save and send the apllication. Please help. It took a long time to complete.

    I have been to the bottom of the application site where you can hit either save and return later or apply. but now it stops before the end of the application and won't let me move any further down the webpage.

    So far I haven't been able to get my Cmd+Down or Cmd+Up working as described (e.g. move cursor to end or beginning of document) when using Word 2008.
    So . . . I updated to Word 2011 - and it still isn't working . . . please tell me there is another short key that I haven't found yet. The Cmd+Down and/or Cmd+Up only take me up or down a paragraph and Fn+Up or Down seem to be the equivalent of clicking the scroll bar up and/or down one page worth.
    Is it difficult to trigger the menu item entitled "Keyboard Shortcuts" in the Pages Help menu ?

  • Maintaining session problem... Save and send cookie?

    Hello,
    I have recently switched to programming in Java after programming for a while in C++, so bare with me if I ask dumb questions :) ... In the company I work I have a situation which requires me to connect to a webservice.
    I have used WSDL2Java successfully to generate the stub from the WSDL. I can connect and login to the webservice, but for some reason I cannot keep the session active. I send the login request, I receive the correct response, together with the cookie. The thing is I don't know how to extract it and send it along...
    I have tried to myStub._getServiceClient().getOptions().setManageSession(true) but that doesn't seem to work. Is there any way to extract the cookie string from the response I get to the login request and then pass it to the following data request?
    Thank you very much!

    Thanks for the reply... I've tried to find a way to inject it, but I can't really find it... This is what I have got so far:
    X1OrderServiceStub stub = new X1OrderServiceStub();
    X1OrderServiceStub.Login request= new X1OrderServiceStub.Login();
    request.setEmail("[email protected]");
    request.setPassword("thanks");
    System.out.println("Request : " + request.toString());
    X1OrderServiceStub.LoginResponse response= stub.Login(request);
    System.out.println("Response : " + response.toString());
    X1OrderServiceStub.AccountsList request2= new X1OrderServiceStub.AccountsList();
    System.out.println("Request : " + request2.toString());
    X1OrderServiceStub.AccountsListResponse response2= stub.AccountsList(request2);
    System.out.println("Response : " + response2.toString()); // Result is session expired or not logged
    Could you please give me more hints? Thanks a lot!

  • Possible for non-Mac users to save and send iPhoto Mail images?

    Will non-Mac users be able to download and save images sent from iPhoto via Mail? Of course they can see the images, but will they be able to save, send, and print them? Thanks.

    The answer to the question is Yes, but...
    A lot of people have problems because they don't understand their own email clients. The one way that is pretty much guaranteed to work is to send +only plain text emails+. It's the most basic form of email and it works.

  • Producing a narrated slideshow, save and send via email attachment?

    I'm wondering if one can produce a slides show in keynote, add narrative to it, save it in a iMovie or some other format, and be able to send it as a stand alone presentation to someone via email attachment or clickthrough on a website.
    Is it possible to do with within the Apple family of products? If so, how do you add the narrative and in what format should it be saved?
    I need to be able to give clients a sample of a live presentation. Not the talking head, but the slide content with voice over.
    Any suggestions or experience would be greatly appreciated.

    Garageband, iMovie, iPhoto and QuickTime Pro can make your file and save (export) to a QuickTime file format. Keynote could "make" the video portion (export to QuickTime formats). QuickTime Pro can "record" audio (supported device required). A "mix and match" use of these apps could help reduce the file size.
    Things to consider:
    Email has file size limits on attachments and even a very short file would probably exceed them. You could post your file on any "server" and just send a link to the file in your email.

  • Wokflow - 2 steps: save and send

    Dear Experts,
    We are working in a BPC Project and we would like your help to know how to use wokflow:
    We want to be able to save data before sending it to BW.
    (1 step is to save data another is to send data do BW).
    Thanks in advance for your help.
    Kind regards,
    SIGFBNA

    Hi,
    The Business Process Flow of BPC is a very similar concept.
    You can have input schedules in the first step which will enable the users to do a manual planning. If the planning is automated, then you might choose to run a specific data manager package. Once the data has come, you might want to run another DM package in the 2nd step to send the data from BPC to BW.
    Hope this helps.
