Save As CSV only using format of date
I am saving a .xlsx file as .csv.
The date portion does not appear iin the .csv.
The cell contains MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM AM/PM but is formatted HH:MM AM/PM.
Is there a way around this without chaning format?

I did a quick test but failed to reproduce the issue. Are you developing with code? If yes, I suggest that you check whether the format save correct when you save the workbook manually.
If not, I suggest that you update and repair the Office to see whether the issue was fixed.
Also I suggest that you reopen a new thread in
Excel IT Pro Discussions forum to get more effective response for the end-user issue.

Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Is it possible to hide the save function and only use the save as function in teststand

When i'm done building a sequence i want to prevent other engineers to save the sequence with the same filename (or version number).
Is it somehow possible to "hide" the save button and only use the save as function?
Or is there another possiblity to solve my problem.
The idea is to have a sequence called Sequence_V1.0.seq which i have build. When installing this in a factory enviroment I would like whenever there is a change needed in the sequence that the version number increases (manual action) (becomes Sequence_V1.1.seq). So from the moment you want to save i would like to only have the function save as. In this way you are obligated to fill in a new sequence name (original sequence will be read-only)

Thx!!!1) You could mark the file as read-only, by default you would then not be able to save over it. The user could make it not read-only though if they know what they are doing.
2) Another possibility is to lock the sequence file for editing (this is a teststand feature). Go to the Sequence File Property dialog, on the advanced tab, where it says Password Protection, set it to Not Editable and give it a good password. This doesn't however keep someone from saving another file to the same name as the locked one, but they at least won't be able to saved the locked file again without your password, nor will they be able to edit it.

SCCM 2012 - Endpoint Protection Reporting only using static end date
I have created a subscription to the Endpoint Protection/Antimalware Activity Report built into SCCM2012/Endpoint Protection.
My problem is that I am having trouble getting the dates to work correctly. I want to have the report automaticlly emailed out every monday morning with the status from the last 7 days (i.e. since the last monday report).
However the subscription seems to want a static end date. That is, every monday when the report runs it gives me a status report from the exact same 7 days. Not the most recent 7 days.
How do I go about changing this so it is useful and that every monday it runs, the report it creates/sends is from the the last 7 days?I hope this helps (I am still testing it) but I did this by:-
"Editing" the default report such as "Antimalware activity report".
To avoid corrupting this default report before you change anything select SaveAs and call it something like "Antimalware activity report
for the last 7 days".
Open Datasets, StartEndDates and replace the query with this for the last 7 days
"select DATEADD(day,datediff(day,0,GetDate())- 7,0) as StartDate, DATEADD(day,datediff(day,0,GetDate()),0) as EndDate"
Then open Parameters, StartDate and under General change it to "Hidden".
Then open Parameters, EndDate and under General change it to "Hidden".
Save and test
I had to set the "default value" on each parameter, per Lillonel:
StartDate : =DateAdd("d",-7,Globals!ExecutionTime)
EndDate : =Globals!ExecutionTime
It looks like it is using a 7 day window now. -

Is there another way to segment after data of R/3 than using the BI?
Can you create R/3 Infosets in SAP CRM?
Or can you only use R/3 data in the segment builder via info cubes of BI?

Why the time and date is not correct when I save a waveform in txt format, using Labview 6.1?
I am using Labview 6.1 and my operation system is Windows 98. The date/time properties is configured in the Windows (time and date in the control panel is correct). I generated a waveform using Basic Function Generator.vi and saved this using the Export Waveforms to Spreadsheet File.vi. When I opened this file the date and time was wrong. Only the delta t was correct and it did not show the date neither the time, only a float number. How can I adjust the correct time?
Actually, the date/time is correct, it is expressed as seconds since January 01, 1904.
In order to print the string version of the date/time from your file, you will need to write a utility that converts the date/time to a string or series of strings in whatever format you wish. This can be done by reading the first line (I assume that is the line with the time on it), formatting the date/time into a string, and writing over this information in the file.
The waveform VIs were meant to be used internally to read and write waveform data. Any use beyond that should require you to add formatting and other information/data as necessary. -

Why don't you try any another software for opening CSV files then Notepad ? According to my experience, you can use these softwares to open an CSV files and they are:-
Microsoft Excel
Open Office Calc
Google Docs
Also there is an additional tool available known as CSV viewer. You may try this, download it from here http://www.csvviewer.com/
I've never used Notepad for opening CSV files, because sometimes it contains some symbols which are not not at all compatibile with Notepad.

Can I change the HDL for the USRP N210 FPGA to use only I part of data, not I/Q

While using the USRP N210, we've run into a slight roadblock. We're using UHD's rx_samples_to_file and are able to receive at 20 Msps for 2 minutes using 8-bit complex integer (sc8) over-the-wire format without dropping any samples, but we'd like to receive at a faster data rate, preferably using 16-bit complex integers. We don't really need the Q part of the data, just the I part. So, in addition to using a faster hard drive for the computer and (if we have to) sacrificing half the data bits (using sc8 instead of sc16), we thought about altering the HDL code to only use the I part of the data to help us increase the data rate.
Is this even possible/plausible? How would you suggest going about accomplishing this? Ultimately, our goal is to receive at a faster data rate. Do you have any other ideas?

While you may find some other UHD users in these forums who can help the best bet is probably to send your question to [email protected] since they are much more experienced in UHD troubleshooting. I don't think you'll be able to edit the FPGA itself but there may be a way to pull back just the I data, I can't say I've tried either one myself though.

Yes, that's why I recommend one have more than TimeMachine as a backup because if certain files or folders are corrupted on the TM drive, your not logging into your migrated user account or not be able to transfer it what so ever.
Then it's a REAL PAIN and costs $99 to bit read the TM drive to get the files out, then it's mess to go through and sort all the empty placeholders from the real files as TM doesn't save duplicates in each state, just uses the previous state's copy if there are no changes.
If you create the same named user account on the new machine, and simply transfer files via a USB thumb drive and place say music contents into the Music folder, then it will work too.
Look into making clones of your boot drive, the benefit here is it's bootable, you can access the drive directly to pick and choose files, run the computer just like before etc.

I think you'd better check the settings in Privacy>Location Services.
Some items in it need Cellular data like"setting time zone" and "Find my iPhone'. -
We had a 5GB plan with an air card for the past 4 years and rarely went over our data plan but wanted wifi. We were told the jetpack was the way to go. But within 24 hours of setting it up we went through almost 20% of our monthly allowance! We didn't use the computer any differently than we usually do and only used the wifi for 2 Kindle downloads and then disconnected the device from wifi (verified on the jetpack) yet our usage is going through the roof. I will blow through my 10GB in a week at this rate. Very frustrated and don't know where to look for "leaks." help? Any ideas? I don't seem to have any devices drawing from wifi that I don't know about.

How to save an excel file as CSV with semi-colon as data separator?
We are creating a flat data file to load the flat file data to our BW system with Excel. When we save the file, there are three kinds of CSV types for selecting from the "Save as type" list box:
CSV (Comma delimited)
CSV (Macintosh)
CSV (MS-DOS)
There is no CSV (semi colon delimited) type. If we pick CSV (Comma delimted) as the type, then when clicking the "Preview ..." picture icon under the "DataSource/Trans. Structure" tab of the InfoSource for this flat file (with the CSV radio button checked the Data separator default is ";"), the File Upload Preview window shows the data is messed up that some columns of the excel flat file are combined into one column.
Since the save type we picked is "CSV (Comma delimited)", then we try to change the default Data separator from ";" to "," in the preview selection screen, but still not helpful!
How to resolve the above problem?

This "," is defined in your windows setting. If you want to have ";" as separator then go to control Panel, select Regional Options, go to Numbers Tab and define the List separator as ";". After that when you will save your excel file as CSV(MS-DOS) it will have ";" as separator. This will make sure that the amounts are not broken in to two different fields while loading.
Else if you keep "," as separator then you can also go into the Excel and define all number fields as Number without thousand separator.
Let me know if you have any doubts in this.

Verizon is using the Elipsis tablets to steal data from their customers. The only way to stop data from registering as cellular data is to pull the SIM card. This occurs with wifi enabled and cellular,dara disabled. If,you take your tablet to a Verizonstore they will upgrade your data plan to cover the overage and credit the upgrade. You will then have to remember to downgrade your plan or continue to pay for more data. Verizon, how would you feel if I walked into one of your stores and started filling my pockets with merchandise? If cought can I just give the product back and say "oops, sorry"
Today, my FCC complaint hit the same person working on the BBB complaint. Jimmie has been very nice and seems willing to work with this problem. We have been able to come to an agreement. I paid the purchase price for the phone and he returned my upgrade and unlimited data plan. This is what would have occurred if Verizon had given me correct information to begin with. I am happy with this result. He also brought quite a few instances concerning the handling of my transfer and upgrade that did not follow proper procedure. I am also confident that I would not have resolved this without complaining to BBB and or FCC. Verizon had no interest in solving the problem nor did they show any propensity to keeping a 20 year client. Even though this last CSR was very polite and helpful, his sole job is to respond to formal Federal and State complaints. He is required by law to address every complaint and report the reporting agency the agreed upon results - good or bad. Again, I suggest - If you are not getting the proper customer service, complain to someone outside of Verizon. Jimmie had not received any complaints registered with Verizon directly and I still have not had any contact with any other management representative that I was told would call.

I have Lightroom 4 purchased in disk download format. I am considering purchasing a MacBook Pro but this doesn't have a CDRom. Can I use the serial code to download on to MacBook via the internet? I have only used the disks once for my iMac.
you need a lr serial for mac. the serial number for pc and mac are different.
you can download a trial lr 4 for your mac but you need a mac serial number to install.
