"save as" is no longer available

How do I "save as" now with the upgrade to Lion? I've lost old documents trying to make changes and then on restore - lost the new document as well. This was such an important and easy way to make changes easily and still keep the old document. I've tried the video tutorials and can't find help. "Save as" is still listed in the support pages but not an option in the toolbar.

No its my first time for this, but it is not the only thing.

If you used system cache cleaning software it can mess up Apple software. Stop using such software. Remove Mackeeper if present using these directions:

If you started typing something in the search field of the System Preferences, it might be hiding. Quit and reopen System Preferences to be sure it isn't hiding because it is searching for another panel.
Lastly, if none of the above apply, go to your hard drive -> System -> Library -> PreferencesPanes folder and see if it is hiding there. If it isn't, get your 10.5 installer disc that installed 10.5 on your Mac, and restore it with http://www.charlessoft.com/ 's Pacifist, and then run the 10.5.8 combo update to ensure the version matches the operating system.

Save As option no longer available

Windows 7 system recently updated to skype 7. Now when someone sends me a file it automatically downloads and I no longer have the "save as" option to save to a new location. I uninstalled and downgraded to 6.18 but the option is still missing.
Any idea how to get this option back. Real pain for organizing files sent.

When I open an email's attachment from Outlook, the email's attachment is no longer avail to open on my iPad and iPhone

When opening an email's attachment in Outlook 2007, that email's attachment is no longer available to view on my iPhone and iPad.
How do I correct this to keep the attachment available on iPad and iPhone, when the email's attachment is initially opened from Microsoft Outlook please??

If you're talking about an old iCloud ID, you have to delete the old account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

My purchases from Apple TV are no longer available on the device.

I'm not sure what I've done but my purchases from Apple TV are no longer available on the device. They can only be found on Itunes under 'library/tv shows' and 'apple tv/tv shows'. How can I transfer the shows back onto my Apple TV and then erase the files from itunes? Once accomplished, how can I prevent my Apple TV purchses from syncing with my itunes (to save space on itunes, I prefer not to sync purchases from apple tv).

Welcome to the Apple community.
You haven't done anything wrong, this is the way it is supposed to work. You cannot sync the content back to the Apple TV and then erase it from iTunes because the Apple TV mirrors iTunes, and if it is deleted from iTunes it will also then get deleted from the Apple TV.
You might also see this, however I strongly recommend against it.

Error " the use of Extended Freatures is no longer available" Help Please!

Short version:
I need to create a contract online. I build the contract content in word used the covert to PDF to create the document. Opened the document with Acrobat 9 and added all of the required form fields. Saved it with extended features so that the users could enter in the data and save it to the desktop. When testing I copied the filed both by memory stick and email to another computer and I get an error saying the Extended Features are no longer available due to a change in the document. I'm sure it is something simplistic that I"m doing wrong but I can't seem to resolve this issue.

Hi ,
I have performed some manual actions in OLAP universe i.e move and rename of objects. Object works fine when i drop them in "Result Objects" pane.If the same object i drop in "Query filters" and if i select filter option -'value(s) from list' i get the below error:
Error - "Some objects are no longer available in the universe. See your Business objects administrator. (WIS-00001)".
Is it something to do with manual action performed in universe? Please help me ....

For the objects which you are getting error, do the following in designer
1.select the objects -> go to properties ->check for LOV options i.e if it is disabled then you want get those values so click on edit -> it goes to lov query panel -> run the query and check the lov's for the object-> check export with unv-> save the object n unv & Export the unv->then try it in your report creation.

Cannot copy file: The specified network name is no longer available

After several tries stretching over weeks or months, I finally solved this problem. Internet sharing and transferring small files worked fine over the wireless network, but files over about 50 - 100 MB would fail giving the message "Cannot copy : The specified network name is no longer available. After suggesting numerous changes to the router setup, telling me that my Ethernet NIC in my desktop must be bad, and that I my file sharing or memory configuration was wrong, Linksys support finally suggested upgrading the router's firmware. Problem solved. I can now transfer 1 GB files with no problem over the wireless network. This is on a WRT54GS wireless router.
Upgrading the firmware isn't a 5-minute operation. Allow 1-2 hours. Before you do anything, make a copy of all router setup info. The firmware upgrade resets the router to defaults, so you lose your wireless network setup and any other setup info that you changed. Also, customer support sent me a more involved procedure than what was in the router Help info. It included things like temporarily assigning a static IP address to the computer wired to the router for the update. You might want to get that procedure from them. Also, some of the info about reconfiguring the wireless network after the upgrade was incorrect for my network; another reason to make sure you have all the details of your router setup saved before you upgrade.

Feature to disable touch screen when pen is detected is no longer available in windows 7

In N-trig drivers with windows vista there was an option where one could select the option to disable the touch input when pen in near the screen. That feature is no longer available when I installed new n-trig drivers in win7.
I use my tablet a lot to take notes. But with dual mode on it detects input where I rest my palm on the screen to write. Every time I have to go and disable touch input completely before I start writing and enable after I finish.
I there any way to enable auto mode with Windows 7 n-trig drivers?

I talked about this with HP tech support and they don't know anything about it. I don't even know whether they are qualified enough to provide support. They were just blaming the problems on Microsoft and N-Trig. I knew the problem is with the drivers and I wanted them to let N-Trig know that people like us are waiting to the Auto feature. But instead of considering my complaint they hung up on me not once but twice.

If it's the same machine (same CPU) there should not be any need to activate. The actiovation is tied to your CPU.

Hi there, I am using a Macbook pro with Leopard with the newest version of iTunes. Many, many times when I have tried to purchase the newest episode of LOST, I click 'purchase' and type in my information and click 'yes', and for an instant it says 'purchasing' and shows the striped purchasing par across the top for only an instant, and then that disappears and an error message comes up, saying
"The item you tried to buy is no longer available.
The availability of the item changed while you were using the store.
The same item may be available with a different price or elsewhere
on the store."
In past weeks, I have been eventually able to purchase the episode, after trying to purchase and receiving the same error literally hundreds of times. Why do I try hundreds of times? Because I want to see LOST! And I will have to face the wrath of my disappointed housemates if I fail to present the episode in time. But this is very, very, very, very frustrating! Please help, iTunes! Or anyone, any help will be greatly appreciated. But this glitch has been going on literally for weeks/months! I expected it to be ironed out and fixed completely by now, but it is not at all, it is just as bad as it was when I first noticed it shortly after the beginning of LOST season 4, a few months ago.
Also, when I try to email iTunes, I am sure that I can email iTunes if I finally pick a subject that does not apply, but I do not want to do that.

I had the same issue this morning downloading a pre-order of Alanis, Flavors of Entanglement . I noticed that the only thing that had changed fro me was that I had some song credits for purchasing ticketmaster tickets over the past few weeks. When I went ahead and spent my remaining credits... it downloaded with no prompting or trouble. Maybe the credits issues hangs it up?

There are several possiblities for this error.
1) In your table, is there any field name starts with Number?
2) Is your application 2 level process?( i mean two views? based on alv another alv)

Have you debug these two applications? Does it go into the catch exception block when you close the client or the server?
According to my test, it will throw an exception when the client or the server is closed, just log the exception message in the catch block and then you'll get it:

Word 2007 and 2013 always show this error
This object is corrupt or is no longer available while clicking a embedded files( like pdf, doc and xls). I tried reinstall office 2007, and office 2013. But still have same problems.
I surf internet, find out solution like turnning off the add-on, but not working for me, and I do not install Norton AntiVirus.
Does anyone know what the solution of this issue is, I do not have any idea right now.
