Save As Options MIssing in CS3

I have CS3
Lately, for some reason, when I do save as, only about six options are avialable (tif, pdf, and a few others). Jpegs, Gifs, etc are all gone.
Is there some setting I've inadvertantly chosen or reason I can't save as jpeg?
Thanks - clearly I'm a new/novice user who loves this program but has a lot to learn!

IN ALV Report 'SAVE LAYOUT' option missing

I have created one report in ALV GRID using ABAP OBJECTS(Using class CL_GUI_CUSTOM_CONTAINER and

Hi,
You can manage display variants by using parameters, is_variant and i_save of set_table_for_first_display. Here are options for variant handling. <structure_name> is the variant-defining structure of type DISVARIANT. The field report in this structure should contain the value of sy-repid.

Wrap to options missing in cs3.0.1

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if there is a wrap to option. I seem to be missing it in the pop-up menu.
I have the show options clicked open and graphic placed. So can anyone tell me if they moved this feature or deleted it all together.
Only the contour options are showing.
So how can I wrap to the largest area or wrap to both right and left sides?
My book cs3 clearly has the option.

I think there may be a version confusion here.
3.0.1 was the last build of CS, i.e. InDesign version 3. The current Suite is CS3, but the version of InDesign is 5.0.2 (with the current patch). The wrap to dropdown was introduced in CS3, so would be missing in ID 3.0.1

Cancel Save Workflow option missing in R17 env

Has anyone noticed the cancel save option in WF is missing in my R17 env.
Can anyone confirm if they have it in any of their R17 env ?

We were a little surprised by this as well. We had built quite a few CO validations with it and at this time will probably rollback the validations until certification is complete.

The Cancel Save feature was released in 1083.0.00 for the Opportunity record type only. It was
inadvertently exposed on other record types and is not certified by Oracle CRM On Demand. If you
have already used this feature you will receive the following privilege so you can either roll back the
use of this feature (recommended) or continue usage at your own risk:
Privilege Category: Customization: Business Rules
Privilege Name: Workflow Cancel Save
Privilege Description: Prevent save operation on 'Before Modified Record Saved' workflow events.
This privilege is dependent on the Manage Data Rules - Manage Workflow Rules privilege. The
privilege allows the use of this feature on the following record types:

HT4505 Save to option missing?

So, I'm trying to scan but there wasn't a popup menu for where to save it, nor a drop down box like in the picture. I get the option to name it and choose the file type, but not where to save it. Help??

Are you using Image Capture or HP's scanner software?
You'll have to contact HP about their software.
For Image Capture, make sure you have all the details showing by clicking on Show Details. Even then, there should be a popup menu at the bottom of the screen for destination.
If you don't see that on Image Capture, please take a screen shot and post it.
To take a screen shot, press cmd-shift-4, then drag out the area of the screen to capture.
It will be saved on your Desktop.
Post it here using the Camera icon in the toolbar above the reply window.

Deactivation option missing from CS3

I'm trying to move an installation from one PC to another.
It's a single-user licence (I think), it has a serial number and has been activated over the net.
So I need (again I think) to Deactivate it on PC #1 before I can activate it on PC #2.
The online help says that under the Help menu I should see a Deactivate option. But I don't.
The options under Help are Photoshop Help, About Photoshop, About Plugin... , Patent and Legal notices, System Info, Photoshop Online, and a whole load of How-to's about using the product.
Can anyone advise how I can deactivate and move this installation?
The product version is 10.0.1 and the OS is WinXP SP2.

Yes, the activation is tied to the hard drive where the software was installed!
Interesting that the ghosted version thinks it's legal!

Missing Save As Options Dialog in TIFF

When i save a tiff image in Photoshop since installed Lightroom, the Save As Options are missing.
Mi process is develop and export to tiff in Lightroom. I open the tiff file in Photoshop, retouch the image and add some layers. Finally when i save as the tiff file, photoshop automatically save the image without the tiff options dialog and save the image using ZIP compresion layers.
The same process in Camera Raw. Develop and export to tiff and now the photoshop save tiff dialog works fine but by default the image compression is ZIP, Pixel order per channel and layer compression is set to ZIP.
I've tested in MACOsX and Windows with the same effects.
Can I anyone help me?

Do you get this result if you open any PDF? Looks like you definitely have an error, but you don't appear to have any file open and the save as menus are greyed out..

Missing in Action: An easy "Save As" option in Pages

On the chance that some of the software developers for Pages may read this: Please, please, when you upgrade Pages 5, restore the "Save As" option in the File menu. I'll spare you the details about how I need to use that at least 50 times in a row each month when I update all of my patient's bills, but I hope you can appreciate what a pain it is to have to hold down 2 keys at once, while at the same time selecting an option from the file menu. I would never have bought Pages if I'd known you'd eventually make this change. Ok. Rant over. Thanks for listening...

There is no guarantee that any Apple engineers or other employees read these forums.
But you don't need an update to restore Save As… It was returned to almost all Apple apps with the release of Mountain Lion, OS X 10.8. Hold down the Option/alt key while clicking the File menu & there it is. You can also try this solution by TUAW to permanently change the keyboard combination.

I just installed mountain lion and now I don't see the save as option

I use Pages a lot and I was told by a guy at the Apple storeI needed to install mountain lion.
I did it and now I can not save a document using "save as" option

Save as "opions" missing

I have installed Adobe Photoshop CC 30 Trial version, I dont see many of Save as options. pn, gif, jpeg are al missing.

I Checked and changed the Image mode to 16 bit channel and i am able to see the missing save as options types.

"Save preview" option in Leopard

I don't know about the latest version of Photoshop (because I don't have it) but in older versions, I think right down to the first, you had the option in Preferences of including a preview or a thumbnail icon for the image you were saving. If you were making a web page or trying to fit as many files as possible on a disk, and you wanted the file sizes to be as small as possible, you would turn this off.
In Leopard, in list and icon views, I noticed that the files have an icon whether you have these settings turned on in Photoshop or not. How does this work? Are those icons in the finder being embedded into the file or is Leopard somehow generating them on the fly? Does this make the "save preview" option in Photoshop obsolete?

In PS CS3 in preview mode I don't see the completed layer only something that was a selection in a layer. Even if I flatten it I se a different layer than the finished layer. I first noticed it when I Imported it into Aperature and now I finally notice it in the finder preview window.

Print option in ID CS3

Running XP
I've just upgraded to ID CS3, going into the print menu, under general and then pages, it used to automatically save whichever option I chose, either All or Pages. But now, after changing my settings to Pages and then printing, even if I go back in immediatley afterwards it always goes back to the All setting. I find this a little irritating as I have got into the habit of that setting staying as I had set it and printed from, but now I keep sending all the pages through to print.
Is this a bug in CS3? Or does anyone else get this? If not is there a setting I need to adjust?

Save as option as default

We are using Acrobat XI Pro to make a fillable form. Is there a way to use the save as option as a default for every form? Our forms are quite lengthly and quite often can not be completed in one sitting. Some computers are allowing it while others aren't and I am wondering if there is a setting that is getting missed.

Save As option no longer available

Windows 7 system recently updated to skype 7. Now when someone sends me a file it automatically downloads and I no longer have the "save as" option to save to a new location. I uninstalled and downgraded to 6.18 but the option is still missing.
Any idea how to get this option back. Real pain for organizing files sent.

Epson TWAIN missing from CS3 Import menu

I installed the latest Epson 2450 driver on a new MacBook Pro. The scanner works properly in MS Office applications. But there is no Epson TWAIN option in PS CS3. What should I try?

That's the DRIVERS...not the PLUG-INs. If you use Epson Scan you'll be able to scan and save as a tiff and then open in Photoshop. Many people find this more productive as you can be working on one image in Photoshop while another one is being scanned and saved.
