Save email templates

Can I save and EMAIL, (as a template?), and open up later to send to more people?? I want to save my message body, only customizing the names as i go.

Depending on your version, you should tick Type/Art Optimized or Anti-Alias in the Image Size window (Save for Web and Devices), and it is important to set the size to the exact size that it is to be used at, especially for PNG24 (use PNG24) and GIF, to get crisp and clear images.
This (Type/Art Optimized or Anti-Alias) also applies to Export, where you have to choose the PPI carefully.
If you use the final size in points/pixels when you create the artwork, you can just Save for Web and Devices and have the right Image Size, and you can use 72 PPI when exporting.

Save email template with photos as pictures

Hello,
with Iphoto you can make nice email layouts with a mix of pictures. I'd to save this creation as a picture in order to print it in a high resolution.
However, it is not possible to save this picture layout (in the iphoto template) in a high resolution. Do you know an other program where I can use such a templates to easy make like a nice card with pictures on it and save it a high resolution.
I'd like to make a collage of some 7 to 9 pics and use it as a card for first communion.

Why not create a Book or a card containing a collage of images in iPhoto? You can save it as a high-resolution image by printing the relevant page to pdf and setting the pdf-button to "Save pdf to folder as jpeg/tiff"

I'm sure this has been covered, but I must be asking the wrong questions as I can not find a tutorial regarding how to do it.

Can no longer select text in email template or read only field with mouse using IE or Firefox?

Hi Guys,
I can no longer select text in email template or read only field using my mouse in IE or Firefox anymore. We are using CRM 2011 rollup 18 applied with IE 11 and the latest version of Firefox. We only applied roll up 18 in Feb when this issue began.

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
(You also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button ''or'' Tools menu > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now")
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first) using either of these. While viewing a page on the site:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
These features rely on JavaScript, and it sounds as though you have scripting enabled if you get (the wrong) color changes. Some add-ons might alter the way scripts operate, so a standard diagnostic to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings) is to try Firefox's Safe Mode.
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [[Backing up your information]]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, restart Firefox in Firefox's Safe Mode ([[Safe Mode]]) using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode."
If those features work correctly, this points to one of your extensions or custom settings as the problem.
To also disable plugins, you can use this page:

While Creating Email template with 28 kb data as Long message field in OIM 11g R2 Im getting error like "Invalid size of inputs in en_US in Locale " so unable to save and please provide the solution Is there any changes in property or something?

Yes that is right what is mentioned above, first you give the company code and name then give the currency then select address (Shift+F5) and in that if you select country as IN then it will automatically come to master data.

Save as brings up save as template box

Im using a DW3 css template. When I try to save any of the
regular html pages like index.html, it brings up a save as template
dialogue box. Havent seen this before, but its quite annoying to
have to save as every time I make an edit. Maybe I inadvertently
changed a preference or something. Any idea where to look to fix
this so Ctrl S will save over page and not try to save as template?

That's because you aren't using the template properly. You
must spawn a
child from it, not change its contents and save with a new
extension.

Email Template Help

Hey everyone. I've search for a long while about this topic but didn't find an answer, so here goes:
I'm creating my own custom emai template to be used in Outlook 2003. I've created 3 tables all of the same width. One as a header (with an image centered) another as the body and the last as a footer with a custom signature and 2 graphics linked to my FB & Twitter pages. I'm almost completed but there are two nagging problems:
1. I can't figure out how to format the "body" table with single line spacing. (remember I want this field to be blank until text is added when an email is written). Everytime I save the .html file and open it in Outlook it reverts to double spacing. I know this can be done because all of the standard Outlook stationary html files use single spacing.
2. I'd like the 2 bottom graphics to be immeadiately underneath the signature. As it is the graphics are a few lines below and I can't get them to move up without affecting the signature text.

Add some inline css (style="margin: 0; padding: 0;") to the <p> tag that your images are insert in: (see below)

Where's the best place to store email templates?

Hi all;
In a web app I store all my email templates in a files folder in the web app. Can't do that with a worker in a cloud service - no files. So where's the best place to store them? In a BLOB? And if so, is there a way to have files in my project get automatically
written to BLOB entries when I publish?

If you choose azure cloud service, you could write the upload code at role onstart method. If you choose Azure website, please consider use azure webjob to do this, refer to

Email Template on CRM5.0

Hi Guys
Ive created email templates on our development box. And its displayed when i log onto webclient. Transported config onto QA and the config is the exact same as on DEV. But when I open the webclient on QA, templates are not reflecting
This is the steps ive taken
Ive created template under SAP menu- Marketing- Personalized Mail - Maintain Mail Template
Went to IMG-CRM-Interaction Center Webclient-Basic Function- Communication channels - Define Standard response Groups
Clicked on new entry and entered following
Std Response Group = Z**stdrespgroup
Form Name = z**"
Save and transported the changes
Then went back to IMG- CRM-Interaction Webclient- Basic Function- Communication Channels- Define Email profile
Chose my required email profile = z**
Entered std response group = z**stdrespgroup
Saved changes
Templates only visible on DEV and NOT on QA
Note : Ive created this on both environments, Config as the exact same! still no luck!
Pls help!!!

OIA Email Template

Hi,
I'm trying to create a custom email in Oracle identity analytics. As far I understand, it seems to be there a restriction in OIA
a) You can't use any variable outside from the pre-defined 35 variables of OIA.
Is my understanding rite?
If so then can we atleast deploy a Java class in OIA, wherein using Java mail i would send a custom email.
The reason I'm asking this is that, i need to send a email to BMC, in turn BMC would read this email and create a ticket.
If anyone has faced this similar kind of situtation or could share you suggestion, it would be really appreciated.

An easy way is to open one of the existing templates from the
Outlook/Stationery folder and modify to your liking and save
as a different
name.
You can easily create your own stationery using standard
HTML. If you use
styles, I find it's best to keep in line. Make all of your
graphics
absolute referenced (
http://www.yoursite.com/imagename.jpg)
and keep the
design simple. Keep in mind, too, not everyone can (or wants)
to receive
HTML email.

EMOD - problem with email templates

Hi,
I have 2 questions wrt EMOD:
1)
I have a newsletter in html format. When I save this as an Email template, the images are not imported by default. I have to import the images individually and while setting up the email template for the campaign, I have to insert each image individually. If I have to use the same template for another campaign, I would be required to do the entire exercise again. This is quiet troublesome. I was wondering if there was an easier approach to this or am I missing something?
2)
I have got an email template in Japanese. I am able to import the template, but when I use the same in the HTML editor, instead of the Japanese characters, I see junk characters. I am unable to identify what is going wrong.
Can someone help for these issues?

There is a "View Source" button. Click on it and paste the source code in there. Click on the "View as WYSIWYG" button, which is on the right of the "view Source" button, to see it in the editer.

Can not open or save web template using web application designer

when i create a template , everything is ok .but when i want to save the template i get two errors

Hi I've got the same problem. When trying to use the Bex Report Designer I get this error message: "Java communication error: RFC destination not_configured does not exist". Error when loading query metadata. Check query and portal settings.

Cannot save email attachments to folders in Finder

Ughhh, I'm getting a sinking feeling.... It's happening again.
Ever since I installed Mavericks back in June of 2014, I've had nothing but problems. In fact, the actual install (perhaps coincidentally, I'm told) caused my hard drive to fail in mid-install, even though it was only 2 years old. Apple Care cheerfully paid for the new hard drive and installed Mavericks for me, but ever since my previously fast, responsive computer has been incredibly sluggish, lots of beach balls, tons of problems with things like the one I'm experiencing again today -- can't save email attachments to folders in Finder (the computer behaves as if the save was successful, but when you go look in the Finder later, you discover it was never saved anywhere). Also, I can't create any new folders because it says the location is Read Only (I've tried various file locations -- same result).
Since June, after countless visits to the Genius Bar and all sorts of attempts to fix the accumulating problems, the Genius erased my User Library last December in a final attempt to get the computer to work right before my Apple Care ran out. It was one of many attempted fixes that would actually work pretty well for a few days, but then the problems would accumulate again.
Last week, Word kept crashing. I took it to the Genius Bar and the June 2014 hard drive failed a diagnostic test. Even though Apple Care had expired, Apple replaced the hard drive for free because they could see the long list of notes from all of the visits I had made to the Genius Bar. I restored everything and, although it seemed to be working okay at first, I was still getting a lot of beach balls. Sometimes it can take 30 seconds to open a Word document, even if the application is already open. (FYI, I don't keep a lot of applications running.) But at least it was working. Today, however, I'm seeing some of the old familiar problems creep in. I cannot save email attachments to a folder. I cannot create new folders. I've tried restarting the computer multiple times. All of this was working fine as recently as yesterday.
1. Am I doing something that is causing this? This is my sixth Mac and I've never a serious problem with ANY of the others (including one that I bought USED) and I use them at least 8 hours a day. As far as I know, I'm doing everything the same way I've always done it.
2. Has anyone else encountered this "Read Only" problem and do you know how to fix it? I'm starting to think this is just a bad computer and that this is a symptoms that something is very wrong again.
3. Do I simply need to start over with a brand new computer (although, frankly, I'm scared to restore everything onto a new computer and risk "infecting" the new one). This is my work computer and I am self-employed, so I really cannot afford to be running to the Genius Bar once or twice a week any longer. Any advice? It's a MacBook Pro that I bought in December 2011. According to the stats, I'm using 354.68 GB of my 499.25 GB storage capacity.

Camera works fine; won't take screenshots or save emailed photos to Camera Roll

I can't make my iPhone 5c (IOS 7) save emailed photos or take screenshots. When I take a screenshot, the screen blinks like it's supposed to, but nothing shows up in my camera roll. Same with saving emailed pictures. Tried restarting and resetting; didn't find a relevant post on the forum. Could someone help?

I did exactly as you suggested and the phone froze up and acted really funky. So I did a normal power cycle after your maneuver and viola! The camera snapped away click - click - click!!!! Thank you for the help -- as an embedded hardware engineer I wonder what has gone awry with the software.
As I like to say (usually surrounding some goofiness with Windows) "somewhere there is a software engineer responsible for my misery."

All the limits you mention 100 e-mails at a time and 500 in a four hour time frame are limitations imposed by your mail provider, not Thunderbird. Thunderbird places no restrictions on the maximum number of recipients.
Have you tried turning your computer off for a few minutes?
