Save keynote as non package from a package file

Hi
I have several keynotes that have been saved as package. Althought saving keynote as package present many advantages, I need to turn those files as non package files.
I uncheck the option (save as package) in the preference and selected save as but that did not work. I checked on the net but could not find the answer.
If somoene knows how to do this, that would be very helpful.
I do know how to change a non package keynote to a package one but not the other way around.

Only if the fonts, animations and transitions used in the PowerPoint file are compatible with Keynote. Many are not so you will need to test it thoroughly.

Will Keynote keep all animations from a PPT file?

I have a PPT file on my Mac that I created. Having an insanely hard time getting it to convert to DVD.
I have 2 questions - 1. If I purchase keynote will it bring in all the animations/transistions that I have created

How can I save multiple separate edited images from one original file?

I shoot NEF raw images and am getting used to the way LR5 editing works without altering the file in any way. Now I wonder how I can create multiple edited images this way.

I doesn't seem to matter if I take a copy while editing or before I start editing, I can always reset the original and start again.
Is it possible to rename the copy? I had a look around here and in LR Help but rename doesn't come together with virtual copy.

The task that you are trying to perform is not possible via Adobe Reader, You would require Adobe Acrobat to extract the pages from Multi-Page PDF and save it accordingly.

TS2647 My keynote files keeps saving my document as a package even though "Save new documents as packages" is not selected. I also do not have Stuffit Expander on my system. Any ideas why this is happening?

My Keynote file is NOT creating a single file but creating a folder with all the decks files.

OK, restart in Safe Mode, this will clear some caches. It's possible one or more is corrupt. To restart in Safe Mode when you hear the start up tone hold down the Shift Key until you see a progress bar. Let it fully boot then restart normally and test.
Also I am assuming you have checked Finder - Preferences - General and see what boxes are checked in "Show these items on desktop." You can also mount an item in Disk Utility, simply highlight it and then look in the File menu for Mount.....

Installing from non-package installers

Is there a way to install a non-package type (i.e. Vise) installer on multiple machines over the network?
I have a printer driver that I want to distribute to all our desktop machines but the installer is a Vise installer.
Any help will be appreciated

Short of copying the installer over and then running it individually on each system, you'd have to install the driver on your admin system, determine which files need to be copied, and then either copy those over individually or build your own package to install them as a group.
If it's just a handful of systems, then just copying the installer over and taking control of each system to perform the install will probably be most time-efficient. If you have to do this to a lot of systems, though, then creating your own package is probably what you'll need to do. If you have to do this more than once, JAMF Software's Composer might be a tool worth looking into.

The package file is missing from the project directory

Today after working in SSIS all day with no problems, I re-opened one of my projects and got the message:
The package file ‘package_name.dtsx’ is missing from the project directory. This package has been skipped, and project will continue to load.
So two of my packages loaded and all remaining packages where skipped, one pop-up dialog for each “missing” package. I then looked in my project directory and all my packages are still there.
1. Has anyone experienced this and found why this happens?
2. Can I just import my packages again and be good to go?
Update:
I discovered that this had to do with renaming my packages in SSDT. For some reason the name changes did not get saved into the project .dtproj file. I was able to correct by renaming the .dtsx files in the project directory to their original name. Then
I re-opened the project, renamed the packages to the new names, saved and closed all packages. At this point you need to save the project, which actually wasn't really straight forward. You need to highlight the project name in Solution Explorer
and then from the File menu select 'Save Selected Items'. This updates the .dtproj file.
Upon closing SSDT, a dialog SOMETIMES appears asking you to save the project, after selecting Yes, the .dtproj file also updates. However, I've realized that upon closing the project, that the dialog asking to save the project does not always appear,
depending on what has changed in the project. To be safe, use method previously described, especially after renaming packages. Also, if SSDT happens to crash after you have renamed a package, the project will not re-open properly.

I remember one such occurrence when I used Source Control (if I recall right it was TFS), and yes, you can simply right-click on the packages folder and choose 'add existing package'.
But check for project file perhaps it has a wrong reference. E.g. something from the outside manipulated on the package files.

Save a Copy of package as with SQL server 2012

Hello,I want to save a copy of my package on sql server.

But the dialog box is not the "Save Copy of Package" with package location, but it's the dialog box to save on the disk.
I can't save on sql server.

When we click “Save Copy of <package file> As” on the File menu in Project Deployment Model, we can only save the package on the disk.
Please note that the procedures in the article is about Package Deployment Model. So if we want to save a copy of package to SQL Server, we should change the Model first, then refer the steps in the article.
To convert the Model from Project Deployment Model to Package Deployment Model, please right-click the project to select “Convert to Package Deployment Model” option in the Solution Explorer. If a package uses features unique to the project
deployment model, such as parameters, then the package cannot be converted. So please avoid use features unique to the project deployment model.

To Generate Oracle Package from OWB *.mdl file

I want to generate an Oracle Package from OWB *.mdl file. I know this can be done using the OWB GUI. But is there a way to automate this using a script for a given set of mappings?
Such a thing is required because I have a large number of mappings and i need to create the Oracle package scripts for the same.
