An ALV Grid is not a displayed spool (this is not REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY) so the System options are not available, but look at menu List, Export or Send to (or List, Print).

    As well as even the system --->save ---> local file is grayed out in screens i can find above option working as well as the small icons bar also has one icon which saves to local file /spreadsheet/wordprocessor.You can use these options.
    Thanks.

  • About save local file

    hi expert:
    i open file saved via system->save->local file-> spreadfile
    almost line item can be displayed correctly..
    but some records are hidden into the description field of previous entry.
    perhaps some special character exist in description field
    for example : " [].
    So anybody met similar problem..
    your suggestion will be appreciated
    Thank you in advance
    Kevin

    Hi Kevin,
    File will automatically be saved as TAB Delimited format.
    Try saving file as xls by opening the file FILE--> SAVE AS, change file type as .XLS and save it.
    If this does not solve the problem, open blank Excel sheet and use Data --> Import External data --> Import data option from Excel and select the file you have downloaded from SAP.

    Hi Diego,
    First you should implement SAP note 742197 to have a JAR file with a valid certificate.
    Once you have implement this note then you need to republish the WEBGUI and the IAC internet services via SE80. This [Wiki|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/kmE] should help you in this process.
    Finally, invalidate mimes in SITSPMON and clear IE cache.
    What is the result of a new test?
    BTW, the Query.class is inside the WS.JAR file.
    I hope this helps.
    Best regards,

  • System =) List =) Save =) Local File is grayed out in ECC6

    Hi experts,
    I tried to search this question before posting.
    Many of my reports (both standard SAP and customize) CAN NOT user function:
    System>List>Save-->Local File since we updated to ECC6
    Please suggest me any OSS note I can use to resolve this problem.
    Thanks,
    Khanh

    Hi Vikranth,
    I wrote the code as below to check download authorization:
    AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'S_GUI'
             ID 'ACTVT' FIELD '60'. " '61'.
    if sy-subrc <> 0.
    write: 'do not have authorization'.
    else.
      write: 'have authorization'.
    endif.
    Both cases the result is 'have authorization'.
    Is it correct?

  • ECL Viewer - Save to local file option grey out

    Hello Experts,
    We have ECL viewer installed version 5.1.3 with SAP GUI 710 - 7100.2.7.1038.
    But, option under viewer --> save to local file  is grey out, how to enble this option.
    Thanks,
    Sam

    Hi all,
    in case the ECL Viewer is used in the ArchiveLink or GOS area the 'Save to local file' is not available.
    Basically it is possible to save the displayed document via the
    ECL Viewer menu in a local file. In DMS the users can go via the
    ECL Viewer menu 'Viewer -> Save to Local File' and create a local
    copy on this PC.
    This functionality, however, is not possible if the file is stored
    using the ArchiveLink. This is a restriction from the ArchiveLink
    application.
    If you are willing to do a modification just change the following
    coding within the constructor of class CL_DV_VIEWER_CONTROL_ECL.
    call method ecl_viewer->create_toolbar
          EXPORTING
      *     CLOSE_BUTTON      =
            TOOLS             = 'X'
            VIEWER            = 'X'
            NAVIGATION        = 'X'
            OPTIONS           = 'X'
            VIEWER_OPENFILE   = ' '
    *       VIEWER_SAVEFILE   = ' '         "<   delete
            VIEWER_SAVEFILE   = 'X'         "<   insert
            TOOL_MEASUREMENT  = ' '
            REMOVE_DOCUMENT   = ' '
            VIEWER_CLOSEFILE  = ' '
            TOOL_COMPARE      = 'X'
            TOOL_STAMP        = ' '
    If you are not willing to do a modification, it is even possible
    to make a copy of the whole class, change the coding within the
    copy, and make use of the copy by adding the according entries
    in table SDV_VCL_MIME_C (see SAP note 726158).
    For further question on this scenario I would kindly ask you to contact
    your local consulting organisation because in the standard this
    'Save as local file' is not available for ArchiveLink files.
    Best regards,
    Christoph

  • 'Save in Background' option disable in T-code: Mass

    Hi All,
    I want to do credit account grouping for customer through Mass maintenace in background.
    But the 'save in background' option is disable in main menu --> Mass maintenace
    Only Save option is enable there.
    Pls guide how to make 'Save in background' option enable.
    Thanks and regards,
    Swarup.

    Hi,
    are you using a variant when calling MASS? from the field desc:
    "Dependencies
    A variant is always required if you wish to carry out mass maintenance in the background."
    Read e.g. this: http://help.sap.com/printdocu/core/print46c/en/data/pdf/CAGTFMS/CAGTFMS.pdf
    To access background processing, access mass maintenance [Ext.] and choose Mass
    maintenance   Background processing. You are required to enter the object type (for example,
    material master) and to *specify the variant *. You then schedule the job to be executed at a
    specific time by choosing Program   Execute in background. The name of the program
    executed is MASSBACK.

  • F.31- Missing List - Export - Local File Option

    Hi Guys,
    We have just upgraded to ECC6.0 from 4.6 . An issue we encountered is that one of the methods of exporting the data from F.31 is now grayed out. This is via List->Export->Local file.
    Also in the previous version we do have a Statistics at the end of the report, which is not available anymore.
    So I'm wondering if this is just by SAP design? Does anyone with ECC6.0 have use of the List->Export->Local file feature?
    Thanks

    Hello,
    Check mentioned SAP note ,which can guide you.

  • Option to save output list to local file

    What would cause the menu option:
    SYSTEM - > LIST ->SAVE -> LOCAL FILE
    to be greyed out or not available for a report?  I know these use to be an option for all standard output lists, but now I see where this is not an option on some standard SAP reports.

    Hi,
    I am getting the same problem. In VT03N, when I goto System->List->Save->File, the option to save is greyed out.
    Can you please explain how can this be enabled?
    Thanks,

  • List save as local file is greyed out

    Hi All,
    After the ECC upgrdation, Save as local file path is greyed out for certain t.codes like mmbe, mm60 etc ALV reports
    whereas it is okay with mb52, mm5b (normal report)
    Path to save as local file is  " System>LIST>Save---> Local file, office folders, report tree is greyed out
    Is this standard behaviour or a bug?

    You have Export option for MM60 report in ECC 6.0 in Menu List-Export-Local file and check.
    And for MMBe you will have to do some work to get this option. Go to MMBE and execute and in output screen there is a Print icon click beside this icon and you will get options call print preview of view click on it and it will show print preview from here you can go to list-save-local file
    Just check it once

  • Local File Save changed in ECC 6.0

    In 4.6C, when saving a table view to local drive, the file on the PC side would immediately zero out and then incrementally increase until the entire file was created.
    We are using System -> List -> Save -> Local File -> Unconverted
    In ECC 6.0, when we click the button to Generate the file, the entire file appears all at once after a brief delay.
    We have tried the Monitor setting on the SAP GUI Trace Options but the method did not change.
    We have programs that monitor the local file sizes and would like to us ethose without change.

  • RFBELJ00 save as local file?

    Hello everybody,
    our customer needs to run the report RFBELJ00 in a background job and wants to save the selected data in a local text file (because of certified accountant). Is there a possibility to do so? or maybe another report who delivers the same result and can save it in an local file instead of printing it?
    I tried to save the data in a pdf.-file. This is not exactly what the customer wants but it didn't work too.

    Hi,
    Yes you can do it.  Execute the report in the background.  Once the execution is complete.  Go into SM37 and execute.  Select the completed job and click on Spool button.  Select the spool and click on display button, the report output will be displayed.
    Now click from the menu follow either of the two paths:
    1.  Spool Request -> Forward -> Save to local file.
    2.  System -> List -> save -> Local file
    In the ensuing pop-up, select Unconverted and save it as a text file to your desktop.  You can also select spreadsheet and save as a csv text file.
    cheers.
