Save photos to my windows pc from icloud

Hi guys, my last back up from iphone to icloud was last May.After that it said I need more space to back up. I don't use it too much in order to buy more space, and I suppose the space is occupied by backed up photos only. How can I save these photos to my windows pc from icloud to empty the space? Thanks

Photo stream only keeps photos in iCloud for 30 days (even though they remain on your devices until deleted). If you just recently enabled photo stream on your PC, the 75 photos are the ones added in the last 30 as the older ones are no longer in iCloud.
If they are still on your device, you can import them from the camera roll as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083. If they aren't in the camera roll, save them from your photo stream album by tapping Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. Then they can be imported to your computer.

I understand that you are wanting to restore your new iPhone 6 from an iPhone 5 backup. This sounds like the iOS version of your old iPhone 5 may be newer than what was installed on your iPhone 6. Try going through the steps in the article below.

I would also check to see the backup dates in iTunes and if the backup is located on iCloud instead of iTunes.

My photos are not transferring over from iCloud

My photos are not transferring over from iCloud.I have put my device back to factory settings and still they will not transfer over.The only device all my photos are still on is my iPhone.

If it appears to not be making any progress even though you have a strong wifi signal, sometimes turning the phone off, then back on will get things going again. Otherwise about all you can do is try restoring the backup again. If you still have the old phone, you could also try creating an iTunes backup, then restoring that backup to your new phone.

Photos locked after i download from Icloud.

When i download my photos to my PC from the icloud they are locked with a little lock symbol and it wont let me change them or save them. Is there a way that they wont be locked.

Navigate to Settings > General > Reset > Erase all contents and settings on the device you want to restore.
When this completes and the Set-Up Assistant starts, choose "Restore from iCloud Backup" and enter your iCloud account and password. You will see the three most recent backups for each of the devices on which you enabled Backup. Choose which backup to restore from.

How do I transfer/save/keep data,documents,notes etc from icloud to my iphone?

Ok, so here's the deal. In my old iphone I was using an apple id (let's call this one X) for icloud, and my notes, "pages" documents etc were being stored there.
However, I recently bought a new iphone and had to stop using this icloud id (long story, no need to analyze) and create another one (let's call this one Y). So I'm still using apple id X for everything else (itunes, app store etc) but for icloud I use apple id Y.
The problem that occurs is that everything that was stored to icloud when I was using apple id X cannot be transferred neither to my device permanently and be kept there (I would be just fine with that) or transferred to my apple id Y (I actually have no idea how to do this. So I kinda bet my money on the first option).
This is what I tried:
I logged into icloud using my X id and the devide started downloading my notes and pages etc. Then I chose to delete the icloud account (in order to log back in afterwards using my Y id). First it warned me that if I deleted the account I would lose all the data from my phone that had been stored in icloud. But the next message was asking me If I wanted to keep the data. A little paradox here. Anyway, of course I chose to keep the data on the phone. However it didn't work. Being at the stage with "no icloud", all I was left with, were the data I had created and stored on my new iphone. Nothing was kept from icloud X. The next step was to log back into icloud using the Y id and the data that were stored there appeared as one would expect. But of course no sign of the data from the "X account".
So, is it possible for me to somehow transfer or save or keep in my iphone, all the data that is stored in icloud under id X, and then start using my apple id Y for icloud without losing nothing at all???
Is icloud a bit of a one-way path or is it just me?
P.S. I often log into both icloud accounts from my pc to check them and everything is still there and is intact, so fortunately I haven't managed to mess up anything (yet).

Thanks for your reply but maybe it would be helpful if you could elaborate a bit on that or maybe I was not clear enough in my question. What I need to do is NOT stop using icloud. But gather everything that is already stored in my old icloud account (X) and save it in my device (iphone, ipad etc) and then continue using icloud but with my new account (Y).
In a scheme:
"->" = "becomes"
Step 1) data from X -> independent device data, and then the X account is removed from the device while the data stays.
Step 2) account Y is added to the device.
Step 2 continued) now the device has a. "the independent device data" that was drawn from the account X and b. the litte piece of data from Y that I have already created.
Step 3) independent device data -> data in account Y (along with everything that is created from now on, and everything that has been stored there. The little piece mentioned above.) Everything should now be merged in Y. Merged in a "good" way. Not overwritten, not deleted etc. Nothing should be lost (old or new, from the device or from X or from Y).
The last step is kind of optional. If the best I can get is having data associated to Y (future and past) AND "independent device data" that is so independent to the point that it cannot be added to my Y account since icloud recognizes and stores only data that is created after the account's addition to the device, then I can deal with that.
I hope I cleared everything out.
I need my notes and pages documents from my old icloud account to become independent device data and just stick to the device. And then, if possible, be uploaded to my new icloud account.

After a recent restore on my iphone i left the wireless network whilst it was backing up from icloud, when i got home and back on wireless all my apps etc continued downloading but only 6 photos, can i retrieve these from icloud?

Can i go back to an icloud back up before i lost my photos? I have tried yesterday 10/09/2012 but when restarting my phone from icloud the earliest backup it would let me select was 8/09/2012, it was about a week before this when i lost my photos and videos.

Photos show up empty thumnail from icloud photo library

I am using iOS 8.3; iPhone 6; iCloud Photo Library with 20000+ photos.
I uploaded my entire library to iCloud from Mac OS X Photo app.
After the long uploading time, when I try to load back to my iPhone, I found many empty grid with the cloud icon.
Even I try to scroll through the area, it sometimes looks like it loaded the smaller resolution photo, but the thumbnail is actually empty.
How could I load up the entire library at least the thumbnail?
It is so difficult to look back the library with those many empty squares....

Why cant I see my save photos. I saved them from an email but it either comes up a black screen or it say Jpeg. Please help ????

i took pictures with my iPhone and they backed up to iCloud, i saved the pictures on my Mac. But when i removed my pictures from the camera roll, and then backed up my Phone to iCloud it seems that the pictures are still on iCloud (since i see the space occupied by camera roll). is there anyway to make sure they're not there ? and/or delete them ?

Icloud photo library won't work unless connected to wifi. If I am trying to attach a pic to a message or email, I get the error "photo can't be downloaded from iphoto library, please try later." If I connect to wifi it works just fine.

If it's truly "storing" a low res version on my phone it shouldn't have to download anything. I can understand the uploading of pics to library only being done over wifi, but there are plenty of times I'm going to want to send a pic when I'm not going to be near a network. It does work occasionally, but the norm is that I get the error.

There is issue with Windows 7 when you send the email. It gives the message you specified.
But you can always use Adobe Email client to send your images. In this workflow also you would get the error message but you can ignore it and continue to send the mail.

How to I get my photos and apps back from iCloud?

Yesterday I had to get a replacement iPhone 4S. I didn't have time to wait for my photos and apps to restore from iCloud and I want to do it now. Everything is saying "waiting" but there are no status bars on anything and after 1 hour, nothing has restored.

If you no longer have the phone or have any Backup of it at all, you can re-download your apps and your content from the iTunes Store by logging into your Apple ID at settings> iTunes & App Store. Unfortunately you can no longer recover the data that was associated with those apps.
So far as your photos go, you can recover any photos that were in photo stream and taken less than 30 days ago by logging in with your Apple ID to settings> iCloud> photos. Unfortunately you will be unable to recover any photos from your camera roll.

New to iMac , how do I save photo's to my computer?

I just got a i-mac , this is my first mac computer so I am lost.
I am trying to save photo's to my computer from a disk and am
not sure how to do this.
On my old computer I could just right click and save the image
but I can not do that on the mac.

Just drag it into a folder, open your desired folder and drag photos between the two.
Pressing command while doing this will move the files, you'll see the icon change, the symbol will dissapear when command is pressed. Yes this works like the Move in Windows's right click contextual menu.
Alternately, you can also right click on an image, then choose Copy "[image name]", and paste it into your desired folder. Command clicking is like Control clicking on Windows, it will keep all the files you clicked selected. Command+C also works for this, however there is no Cut & Paste like in Windows, just Copy & Paste.
You can also select, drag and hold the photos over a folder or a directory and they will actually open, spring loaded folders I think its called, but this is actually slower as there is a short wait for folders to open. Esc to cancel.
