Save PIP as a Favorite?

Can you save Picture In Picture settings as a favorite, like you would save a transition? (I know you can copy and paste attributes from another clip in the timeline)
I am making PIPs using the Motion Tab on the Viewer, is there another way?

Copy and paste attributes is your only option in FCE.

I thought BW saves query view in Favorites by default. At least in ver. 3.5.

Which table has the owner namve of a workbook save in owner's favorites?

I would like to generate a list of the work books that users save in their favorites. I can see these workbooks in table RSRWBINDEXT, but I donu2019t know where to retrieve the owner. I checked in table RSRPARAMETRIZA, but I only see workbooks that are assigned to roles. Which table has the owner info? Also, which table has the role assigned to a workbook?

Save JTable rows as favorites - Design Suggestion

Hi,
We have developed a Swing window with different components. We have selected few check boxes and the populating JTable by fetching the DB on button click action.
Now, we need to provide the check box option for each row to save the selected rows as favorates . At later point of time, user can get the favorate rows into the table on button click action.
Please suggest the best option to save the favorates to get it later point of time.

It depends on where you want to save that favorites.
The easiest way is to store them on the client machine in the users home. Extend your TabelModel class so that it puts or removes the current rows values from to that file.
saving the favorites on the (same) database is some effort.
at the database you need to create a Table that stores the favorites for each user. This database table should have at least 2 columns: UserID/-Name and Record_id. Both should have referential integrity constrains to existing tables in your database. Its highly recommended to add an additional column to serve as surrogated primary key.
The I would create a database view that combines the records already shown in your frontend with the favorite-Table (outer join!).
This database view would get an Instead Of Update-Trigger where you easily can update the favorites table.
Have your OR-Mapper working on this view.

Unable to save YouTube videos to Favorites

(Log out of youtube and back on again (on the appletv))
I made that, even remove the account and log in again.
it saids problems communicating with youtube

Make sure that in Your Account / Activity Sharing tab / that you have selected: "Yes, allow a selected set of my activities to be viewable"
Your Youtube favorites will then be on your ATV (if you are logged in).

Authorization Not to save Favorites

Hi all,
is there authorization that prevents users from saving a favorite?
They should be able to create a new view based on existing planning view template, make data changes, save data, but NOT be able to save a planning view favorite.
I played with a couple of Permissions but could not control how NOT to save a favorite.

I dont think its possible to save a query without any folder/ placeholder.
IF you are looking for security , you can restrict users without saving a query.

Workbooks : Save as and Save

Hi,
we have read a lot of message about workbooks authorizations and how to allow users to save in their favorites. Also we have found differents message where some collegues try to avoid users to save workbooks, not in a role neither in their favorites.
In this topics the solution provided is to modify the workbooks object type as not modificable in the connection transport, that will not allow to users that has not SAP_ALL authorization create new workbooks and we have two differents types of user.
I will try to explain our scenario:
We have 3 types of users:
-- Keyuser:    Users which can create queries, and workbooks and save it in a shared folder
-- Enduser:    Users which can create workbooks and save only in their favorites, not in the shared folder.
-- Basicuser: Users should only execute the workbooks from the shared folder.
We have created one specific role for each type of user and one role with the folders where the users can share the reports.
For the Basicuser we have created a role with the next authorizations:
   - S_RFC --> ACTVT = 16 ; RFC_NAME = *; RFC_TYPE = FUGR
   - S_RS_AUTH --> BIAUTH = 0BI_ALL
   - S_RS_COMP --> ACTVT = 16 ; RSINFOAREA = ZLO_14* ; RSINFOCUBE = * ; RSZCOMPID = * ;RSZCOMPTP = *
   - S_RS_COMP1 --> ACTVT = 16 ; RSZCOMPID = * ;RSZCOMPTP = * ; RSZOWNER = *
   - S_RS_FOLD --> SUP_FOLDER = 'X'.
   - S_RS_PARAM --> ACTVT = * ; PARAMNM = *
In the role with the shared folder ZBI_SHARED_FOLDER the authorizations are:
   - S_TCODE   --> TCD = RRMX
   - S_USER_AGR --> ACTVT = 03 ; ACT_GROUP = ZBI_SHARED_FOLDER
As far as I have understand the authorizations that user should not be allowed to save any workbook at his favorites. But the user can save workbooks and also view, and create folder in the favorites.
Please has some one avoid that type of users to save any workbook by authorization whithout change the changeability of the object workbooks.
Our system version is SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0

When I use under file save page as a desktop icon firefox downloads 2 a icon and a folder, how do I get rid of the folder and just keep the icon like in I.E.

I'm just trying to save my favorite website short cut icon to the desktop instead of using bookmarks for everything. In I.E. you have the option to save to desktop your favorite website and you only get a shortcut icon. but in Firefox if you save your website to your desktop you get both the website icon but also a folder. but if I try to remove or delete the folder it removes the icon also. how in Firefox can I get just a shortcut icon for favorite website but without the folder.

The problem has been resolved for me. I am a little fuzzy on how it got fixed.
I only have 3G, so I think I went to the library to use wi-fi.
I think I just deleted the stuck apps, and the downloaded them again. You do not have to pay again when you download a previously purchased app.
It is now August, and fortunately I have not had any stuck apps lately.
As you may already know, you cannot download an app over 20 MB via 3G.
I have the Kindle app also. No new updates lately. I only bought one thing using Kindle. It was a guide to iPad that was only $1.99 or so, but it did not really have anything that cannot be found in normal free Apple guide.
I have borrowed an ebook from the library using Overdrive app. You can choose the ebook version from Kindle.
I don't have any weather apps.

I see my bookmarks in my Favorites folder but they don't come up when I click on Bookmarks in Firefox browser.

I have all my bookmarks organized in c:/user/xxxxx/favorites on my PC (Vista Basic Home Premium). When I open the Firefox browser and click on Bookmarks on the Menu bar, only a few show up. How can I sync my bookmarks from my Favorites folder to Firefox browser? I searched the web and can't seem to find the solution to my problem.

You import the favourites into Firefox and it sets them up within the Firefox Bookmarks Library. From then on you can organise the bookmarks as you wish. If required it is also possible to sync Firefox bookmarks between another device also running Firefox.
Note Firefox bookmarks are stored in a database file within the Firefox profile. Firefox does not use an HTML favourites file, although it is capable of backing-up favourites as an html File.

my client requirement is when he run reports on Internet Explorer(iviews),
he wants to save his reports on Favorites by using Favorites-->Add to favorites.
when he came back & click that saved link, he wants to display the report as usal.
is it possible? if yes, please let me know how we achieve this?

Yes its possible through Bookmark. but what user wants is he used Fav-->Add to Fav. menu item in Internet Explorer. how he says the report in IE is,
After Query initial view, means selection conditions.., user enter all desired input to the selections, and executed the query.., now report is displayed.
Now user is trying to add in his favorites menu by using Fav--> Add to Fav.
when he came back again, he used the link in Fav. and wants display the Report with all selection conditions. is it possible AHP.

Saving favorites filters or transition for the next project

I have about 20 filters and transitions that I like using and saved in favorites folder. Is there a way to save or recover the favorites folder after trashing preferences in the new upcoming project? I trash the preferences quite often, because I work with H, SD and web contents.

Thanks! Solved! Now I can have transition bin and filter bin folders that I can drag into a new one. First I will create a dummy project with select all me favorites and save it as Favorites Project. It will save me a ton of time to go through my 1001 plug ins filters and transitions.

Saving Transitions and Effects as favorites in PPro CS 6

I am working with Premiere Pro CS 6
I have added transition and changed it parameters a little bit. I want to save this as a favorite so I can use it again and again without having to change the parameters every time.
How can I do this? Can I also do it for filters as well?

You can't manipulate the preset transitions and save that manipulation as far as I know. This is how you do it. - You take a clip and either put a filter on it (lens flare for instance) or manually build the effect you want on it (opacity for a fade in for instance). Then you select/highlight that effect title in the Effects Controls panel - click on the panel menu icon to the upper right of the Effect Controls panel - choose preset - name it - save it.
