Save usage decision from QA11

Hi,
I need to fetch the usage decision and update QMEL table from Transaction QA11.
Can anyone suggest me suitable user exit or BADI?

    I am trying to do an usage decision through QA11.Where in Batch for respective Inspection Lot we have to find the PD,SLED and NID there .
    when i forcibly give the UD code  on a inspection lot  and save this it will calculate the NEXT inspection Date.But some times the NID value is greater than SLED value after the UD.
    My requirment if NID is greater than SLED after UD then give a waring message.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hi,
    Just pass the inspection lot number to the field NUMBER and try, because there are no standard programs in which this FM is called apart from a Business Object BUS2045, it is called in the method InspectionLot.StatInterface.
    You can check that for any clarification, but it is not clear there as well.

  • Validaing usage decision in qa11

    Hi,
    My requirement is validate the usage decision in qa11 transaction, if the user select ACCEPT  iam checking some conditions and throwing error message so that it will not be save, this is worrking fine.
    my problem is  if the user want to be remain on same screen  after the error message and want to REJECT the lot, after rejecting this  SAP meessage is coming like INTERNAL STATISTICS ARE NOT UPDATED. and user is not able to save the REJECT lot.
    for rejecting user has to come out of the screen  and  re enter in to the transaction select the REJET than it is allowing.
    after error message is displayed it is not allowing to do any action.
    Pleae let me know if any body has coe acrross this.

  • Usage decision in QA11 through BAPI_INSPLOT_SETUSAGEDECISION

    Hi Experts,
    I am trying to do Usage decision thorugh BAPI_INSPLOT_SETUSAGEDECISION.
    I gave the inputs inspection lot and UD code.
    I am getting error like this :E QV                   045 You cannot make the UD because of 0001 non-valuated Physical samples.
    But Functional experts  saying that, still we can make UD through QA11by skipping that error.
    why can't we do the same in BAPI?
    Is there any way to do UD for inspection lot (either by skiping that error or any other way)?
    Please help me ?

  • Calculating Usage Decision from MIGO

    Hi All,
    while doing GR in MIGO, it's creating inspection lot. I want to calculate Usage Decision automatically while saving the GR document in MIGO. How is this possible ? Shall i need to use any user exit to achieve this ?

    If you are doing a UD automatically via the MIGO GR, why are you even bothering to create an inspection lot?  You are not recording any inspection values so what is the purpose of creating the inspection lot to begin with.  Just deactivate the inspection type for the material.

  • Update purchase order history after usage decision from quality

    Hi guys,
    I'm working with active ingredients, after entering the % of the active ingredient in quality, then making the usage the decision, I need to update the history of the purchase order for the quantity posted.
    what I mean is that if I received 1000 KG of a raw material, then in the quality check I found that the % of the active ingredients is 90%, I update the purchase order quantity to 900 KG, I know that this is made by using transaction MWBQ, but what are the settings I have to make at the very beginning before using transaction MWBQ

    We are able to save usage decision even after inspection stock posting pending.
    Is it possible that system allows usage decision save only after inspection stock posting in such a way that all inspection lot qty. becomes zero.
    Even some/partial stock posting pending system not allows to save ud.

    U can use user status for this.
    Quality Management   Quality Inspection  Status Management  Define Status Profile  create user status QM_UDSTK
    create 2 status NOUD and STCO
    in NOUD
    Make usage decision        forbidden and no action
    in STCO
    Complete inventory posting    Permitted   and Set
    Make usage decision              Permitted   and No action
    attach this user status in inspection type.
    this will be attached to new inspection lots only.
    ud will not be allowed, if stock is pending for clearance.
    when complete stock posting is over u have to save and then take ud
    or
    change the user status manuly from NOUD to STCO and then UD will be allowed

    There is no standard Inbound Idoc for UD. But there is BAPI available for same "BAPI_INSPLOT_SETUSAGEDECISION".

    In the new screen, select the tab "Inspection Specification/Task" and in that press the "Task List" button. Then you will receive a msg that Inspection Plan is attached to Inspection Lot.
    You can go to the "Sampling" tab and click the "Sample" Button if you want to assign a sampling procedure & plan.
    After that press save.
    If no Inspection Plan is found,
    1. Inspection Plan is not available. Check in QP03 for the material/plant combination the availability of plan. If not available, create it using QP01.
    2. The date of creation of Plan is later that date of creation of Inspection Lot. In this case, in QA02 give the key date as before the date of creation of plan.
    Now the status becomes REL.
    Next, you can do the Result Recording (from QA32 screen or use QE51N)
    Once all results are entered and saved, the status become INSP.
    Now, do the Usage Decision (QA32 / QA11) and here give the acceptace code and post the stock into Unrestricted stock

  • PP - QM: Reversal of the usage decision

    Hi Gurus,
    We have completed Result Recording using QE51N transaction and Usage decision using QA11. It has posted a stock from QI to Unrestricted use. Now I want to take it back from Unrestricted use to QI. This needs reversal of usage decision (What I think).
    Can you suggest me the proper way of performing the said transaction?

         Presently, the function is not provided in the standard system.
         Solution
         The function is not provided in the standard system up to and including
         Release 4.6C.
         When you do this bear the following in mind:
         1. Using the attached program corrections, stock transfer postings can
            be reset for the usage decision.If it is possible to post this
            document in the stock management, the inspection lot is also
            corrected and the Quality Management Information System is if
            necessary updated.After the reset has been successfully carried out,
            the inspection lot, related to the stocks, has the status before the
            first stock credit entry.The usage decision is not reset.If, after
            the usage decision, further transfer postings are carried out in the
            stock management which lead to the usage decision transfer postings
            not being able to be reset due to missing availability, these
            postings must be reversed first.
         2. The goods movement is carried out in each case with the reversal
            movement type (document neutral reversal).The original documents are
            not reversed related to the document.This may lead to deviations in
            the accounting caused by valuation.
         3. Resetting postings for materials requiring serial numbers is not
            supported.
         4. With this correction program, you cannot reverse goods movements for
            inpection lots for handling units (HU).
         5. Batch status changes which have possibly been carried out are not
            cancelled.
         6. Batches which have been created in the usage decision during a
            transfer posting are not deleted.The classification of these batches
            is not changed either.

         7. Within the adjustment posting, in Release 4.x, the reference records
            are also adjusted between the material document and inspection
            lot.This can possibly lead to an incorrect description of the
            reference type when displaying material documents for the inspection
            lot.In Release 3.x, the reference records are deleted in order to
            make sure that individual documents cannot be cancelled several
            times.
         8. The program does not contain any own authorization checks and should
            be used with utmost care and ONLY after a successful test. The
            program should ONLY be applied in exceptions and should not be part
            of the standard procedure.
         9. The logic implemented in the program for the generation of material
            documents or for the update of inspection lot quantities and
            inspection lot status should under no circumstances be be changed as
            this might lead to inconsistent data. Since this is a program that is
            not contained in the standard system, problems that are created as a
            result of the program application can be dealt with as problems that
            have arisen as a result of a customer modification.
         To implement the program, proceed as follows:
         1. Create an executable program and copy the attached source code.Then
            maintain the text for selection parameter PRUEFLOS by transferring
            the Dictionary text.
         2. If you a use a Release < 4.6, you must create the function group
            ZQMB. In this function group, you must create function module
            'ZQMB_QAMB_CANCEL'. Flag the function module as an update function
            module (Start immediately) and include table interface parameter
            'I_QAMB_TAB' (type specification LIKE, reference structure QAMB).
            Afterwards you must include exception 'ERROR_DURING_UPDATE' and
            implement the attached source code.
         3. Use Transaction OMJJ to enter further entries in level 'Allowed
            transactions' (table T158B) for transaction code 'QA11' (Record Usage
            Decision).The movement types for which these entries must be created
            are derived from the system settings for the goods movements for the
            usage decision (table TQ07M):The reversal movement type must be
            determined for every movement type that is entered in table TQ07M
            with the key VMENGE01 - VMENGE09 and the corresponding entry must be
            included in the above-mentioned table.You can use table T156N for
            determining the reversal movement type:You can determine the reversal

  • The Usage decision cancellation & quantity reversal

    Daer All,
    While cancelling the Goods receipt, system gives the error Deficit of SL Stck.in qual.insp 10 M : 5000017/1 PMT1 RMST as the usage decision of quality lot generated for the goods receipt is done.
    I want to cancel/reverse the usage decision made & the quantity release from the lot to be initialised, so I can cancel the Goods receipt.
    I have applied the Note 175842 & User Exit QEVA0008
    But when I cancel the usage decision in QA11, only the usage decision is cancelled. The quantity which is moved to un-restricted stock after usage decision is not reversed.
    I want to reverse the quantity, so i can cancell the goods receipt.

    Hi Prakash,
    Please note that SAP doesnt provide an option to reverse a UD once its done.
    Now to solve your issue, Since you have already done QA inspection the stock is moved to Un-res.
    So when you cancel the Material/GR document, select the stock type as un-res then system will allow to post the document.

  • QM-WM Usage decision split between Unrestricted & Blocked

    Hi:
    I have a situation where I do a usage decision from a goods receipt of a PO.  It is working fine - I can either book it into Unrestricted or Blocked stock and the WM posting change happens automatically.
    I now want to do both together, i.e. 150kg comes in and 50 is released and 100 is blocked.
    The IM posting is fine, however the WM posting change doesn't process.  My WM stock ends up with stock sitting in 922 Tr-zone. I I go into Lu04 and process them individually, they process without a problem so I don't understand why they don't happen automatically?
    Any suggestions?

    they process without a problem so I don't understand why they don't happen automatically?
    As per WM as Stock types are different TO should takes place differnetly.It does not make sence making it automatically because when you put something in say block stock it has be treated differently since SAP presume that there is some issue with the stock,that is a reason you have done some posting in Block stock.Differnet TO or LT06 should happen for the same.

    I can't search in Maps for iPad since it quits every time I try to type something into the search line. I tried restarting the iPad and even restored it from iTunes. Still can't search without it shutting down. I'm at a loss for a solution.
