Saved as HTML only file, but open as notepad with a lot code. In other words, it is not HTML file format.
I saved a file as HTML only. When I am going to open this file, I found the file showed a notepad icon. When I opened the file, it was totally code description with some words inside. It looked like program work showed up.
I checked it again and saved it again with HTML only again. It was the same situation.
I would like to have help.
This computer I just brought and downloaded Firefox only several days ago. I never had this kind of problem on other computer

Can you post a short except of the file, so we can see what is looks like?
You can paste the text between <code> and </code> tags.
If you save the page as an HTML file then you should get the page source with HTML tags like you see if you right-click on a web page and select View Page Source in the right-click context menu.

Music I already have on my computer will not pull up in itunes. I dragged the files, copied the files, and even tried adding the files but nothing works. The songs play on any other program except for itunes. What do I do??

I am trying to burn a dvd on my mac book pro but it comes up with an error code 0x80020022. How do I fix it? I have tried rebooting through PRAM and various other options that I found online, but nothing has helped.

i have an iPhone 4 that is stuck in a recovery loop. i try to restore it but it comes up with an error code (-1) towards the end of the restore. can someone please help me?

Have you checked to see if your PDF add-on is up to date? You should take a look at the [[Opening PDF files within Firefox]] Knowledge Base article. There is a lot of good information in there. You should try both of the suggested PDF add-ons to see if that fixes the issue.

I need help for how to upload a video on youtube when it is a quicktime file but how i change it to a streamable format in order for it to not take as long to upload, how do i do this?
I have the same issue. If you are exporting from iMovie version 10.0.1, I run into the same issues if I export directly to YouTube or if I export to file then upload to YouTube.
Google's help file doesn't properly address this problem and thier help is also out of date. In talking to a support rep at Apple, they said the export to YouTube should just work or the exporting to a file then uploading otherwise it's an issue for Google support.
If someone can post a solution that works (is a streamable format - which is different than the format that YouTube accepts as it will accept many formats but take a long time to process them), I'd be interested to hear also.

If file is closed, first row I get is the X+1 line.
Instead, if file is open, with exactly the same source code, I get Xth line!

MS office word (2011) will not save files on the hard disk. It will save on USB drives. Help!
I have installed MS Office 2011 on our iMac and Macbook Air. The program works as expected on the Macbook Air. However, on the iMac, neither Word nor Excel will save files to the internal hard drive. Both save files to a USB memory stick. The error message I receive is:
This is not a valid file name.
Try one or more of the following:
* Chech the path to make sure it was typed correctly.
* Select a file from the list of files or folders.
I expect it is something with the file saving options, but haven't been able to sort it out.

The name of the Mac Hard drive started with "\"
Microsoft office can't cope with that.
Renamed the hard drive without the back-slash and it works fine. -

Link to a file, but opened in new window

I have a text, which I wanna turn into an active hyperlink to a video file. I go to HYPERLINK, check Enable as Hyperlink, check Make hyperlink active, link to a File, Input URL. Everything works, except the file opens in the same window as my website, so after watching video, a viewer has to return to my webpage. Is there any way, that I could make the file open in a new window?

I'm moving all my managed files to be referenced so I can access from both Aperture and lightroom. Needed to do a rename on 16,000 files to get rid of backslashes in the file names. Most of the time it worked but for 1093 files it gave OSSStatus -43. I've tried googling the error and got nothing. Any ideas where to begin looking?

JimHow are you renaming the files? In the "File > Relocate original file" dialog panel? Are you using a custom name format?
Have you checked in Aperture, if the originals, that are giving you the error message, are still inside the Aperture library? -
Program Error from running the *,exe file but works fine running with CVI
When starting CVI created program on Win 2000, I get message “Program Error”.
I have created a program using NI/CVI version 5.5. I am running windows 2000, I get message
“Program Error"
*.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program.
An error log is being created.”
It works fine when running directly from the compilier, but if I run just the *.exe I get this error. I never used to.
Please let me know if anyone else had this problem or knows solution.

CraigIn the debugger unitialized globals are initialized to zero, but not for a release .exe. So if you are checking whether a global pointer is NULL before it is set to a value by your application it will generally work fine in the debugger but may crash as a release configuration depending on what you use that pointer for. That's a common thing I have run into.

According to your description, my understanding is that the attachments attached to the form were submitted to an documents library.
By default, the attachments should be attached with the InfoPath form and will not be submitted anywhere.
There may be some customizations on the form that is to submit the attachments to the document library.
