Saved Forms Not Displaying Data
I have a licensed version of Adobe Acrobat Professional that I have never had this problem before with any of my forms. It was not until the Adobe Updater updated my Acrobat Pro to Adobe Acrobat Pro X that I began experencing problems with my forms.
I created a form that I type data into it, then save it with a new file name and email to recipients. These recipients used to be able to open the .pdf file and read the data in this nice form. Now, whenever they open the file, they only see the form without any of the saved data I typed into the form. Does anyone know why this is happening? If so, then what is the fix to make all the data typed into the form display when someone opens the file. I didn't pay over $600 for this not to work properly.
Will this issue go away if I downgrade to my older version? This is pretty annoying that none of my forms are displaying the saved data, considering this is the ONLY reason I purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro??????

Adding Field in Form not Displaying Data
I recently added a field to a table in our database and then added it to a form. For some reason, it is not showing in Oracle Forms (10g) when I bring it up. I have several other fields from the same table that show fine. I verified that I was looking at records w/ data in that particular field and have been all over the properties in forms to see if I could fix it but nothing has worked. There is a relation b/w data blocks but nothing has changed w/ that or needs to.
FYI, same issue occurs in the 6i version of forms.
I would appreciate any ideas you have to get this data to display. Thanks.I just did what I think you would have been trying to do and the data shows up for me. The only thing I can think of that you might have missed is to set the Column name under the Database section in the properties sheet for the block item representing the new field.

Csutom SAP Script in ME23N not displaying data in Form
Hi Experts,
I have created custom driver program for PO printing using Form entry_neu, which is printing a SAP script,
but the problem is when the form is displayed, data is not populated in the form.
While debugging in driver program the data is being filled in structures but when I debugg the SAP form the structures are empty.
When I am running the same program from SE38 then it is perfectly calling the form with data.
Could some let me know the possible cause of error.

Check in NACE transaction whether ur form name and print program (custom) is configured with routene ENTRY_NEU. And also cross check whether this routene entry_neu is also configured for other forms?
Because entry_neu routene is standard one , so it might be configured for other forms also.
So it is better to write ur driver program with different routene name like entry.
Form entry.
Endform.
And this routene entry need to configure in nace for ur custom program and ur form with output type.

Hi Experts,
Issue: Report not displaying data from one of the infoproviders
I have a report 'ReportA' which has multiprovider MP1 as the source.
MP1 has two Infocubes IC1, IC2 in its design.
Now, when i execute the report, data from IC1 is displayed. But no data from IC2 is displayed.
Is there a setting i need to enable in MP1 ? or is there anything else that needs to be enabled ?

When i display data directly from the multi provider, without any restrictions, i cannot view the data from infocube IC2.
I feel its not an issue with the Query. It must be a problem with the setting in the Multiprovider MP1.
Infocube IC2 is a copy of Infocube IC1. Multiprovider MP1 first only had IC1 in its design. It was recently IC2 was also included.
I checked the Characteristics, all of them are assigned corectly.
Now, this issue sure has something to do wiht the setting of Multiprovider or please correct me if wrong.

I have a crystal XI report that when run will not display data; if the report should be six pages that is the number of pages that will be generated. The problem is that the pages show up as blank. If the blank pages are exported the exported file will contain data, if the report is sent to a printer the report will contain data, but no data is ever displayed on the screen. This report has been loaded on 15 other computer and runs perfectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way if this user logs in remotely and runs this report it will display data.
A few ideas;
1) Make sure you are working with [SP 6|https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100015859952009E/crxir2win_sp6.exe].

XML has data but PDF is not displaying data
Hi Gurus,
I have one report with excel and pdf out put .
excel is working fine but pdf is not displaying data showing blank page . both out puts are using same XML.
Intresting thing is if I open RTF from bi publisher desktop and load XML data then i can see all the records.
but The same RTF is not showing data from Report.
I don't know what is the wrong with RTF.
I am attaching RTF and XML. could you please go through it and help me ?

Hello BW experts,
I am having an issue where in my query is not displaying data even though there is data in the cube in production.
But the same query is displaying data for the same selection in QA system.
I have executed the tests in RSRT, but am not able to find anything.

Check the filters of your query, Is there any selection made where you are going to get only march data which is present in your production system.
Check the info cube data by giving the same filter values as in the query definitation. If you didnt find any data, then your query is working fine.
check this and let me know...
if you find some data in the cube with the same filter selection, then give me the data flow of your query, which means, whether the query is executed on Multiprovider or cube?

Forms created in Acrobat Pro XL do not display data when viewed on iPads
I have a simple form that when completed and saved as an Acrobat Pro XL document and then emailed to customers, do not display the field contents of the form when viewed on iPads. So the customers just see a blank form. I have tried to use Optimize for Web and Moblie to solve this, but it appears that many times, since the iPads are so prevalent, that people can;t see the full content of the form that I send. Is there a solution for this?
When your customers opened the PDF form (which was as an email attachment) on iPads, it is highly likely that Apple Mail (not Adobe Reader for iOS) was displaying the preview of the PDF form. Please note that Apple products on iPad/iPhone (e.g. Apple Mail, iBooks, Safari) do not render field contents or annotations (sticky notes, highlight, underline, strikeout, freehand drawing, etc.) in PDF documents.

I am new to forms.
I developed a form which has two blocks.
block1 uses the header table and retrieves the header information.
block2 uses the detail table and retieves the detail information. I joined both of the block using relations. (Batch_Id is common to both the tables)
I put below condition in WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE (in form level i.e module)
go_block('block1);
execute_query;
go_block('block2');
execute_query;
I dont know what I missed..My form is not displaying any data(data exist in the tables). I really appreciate your help in this regard.

Since you :
1) set the master block to query mode as soon as the form opens
2) set the relation correctly,
you need not the two go_block... and execute_query commands , just the first one for the master block.
As regards the issue that there are no records fetched/displayed in the master block ,
1) is there any error message...????
2) is there any where clause set at master' s block...(where clause property)???
Have you tried to insert a record on master block and two/three on detail and queried them afterwards using your form....????

UIX page not displaying data from VO's
I have an application where my users log in by passing a username/password to a client method in my application module. The Webusers View Object has a view link to the Customers view object, which has a view link to the Orders view object, which has a view link to the OrdLines view object, like this:

I've run this Application Module through the tester and I can see data via all the View Links.
I have the following code in my login() script:
w = getWebusersView();
w.setWhereClause("login = '" + username + "'");
w.executeQuery();
I've stepped through the login() code and it works correctly. If I understand BC4J correctly, then all of the View Links should fire and coordinate the data from Customers, Orders, and OrdLines when this query executes successfully.
I created a UIX page and did a drag/drop of Orders to the page as a read-only table. I found the Orders table by expanding the Webusers entry in the Data Control palette, then the Customers entry below that, to grab the Orders entry there. I think this means that it will follow the WebCustViewLink to get the Customer that goes with the Webuser, then the CustOrdViewLink to get the Orders for that Customer. Is this correct?
When I try to run this and display the table, I get no records. I know for a fact that records exist under the Webuser username I've chosen.
What is wrong? Why doesn't my UIX page display the appropriate Orders based on the Webusers->Customers->Orders view links?If there, try removing the $. at the beginning of the binding that gets puts there if you select the item from the pop up list.
I have a text field that is read only and bound without the $. that was working fine for displaying data. I have a drop down that had the $. and was not saving. I removed the $. and now it is getting saved to the XML. However, it does not display on the next render of the form. -
Master page fields not displaying data from XML file
Hi,
For some reason if I a add a field on the master page, when previewed it does not display the xml data assigned to the field.
I have a work around, but it looks messy and would prefer to resolve the problem correctly.
My work around is to create another field with the same name in the "Design view" layout, and change the presence to invisible. I don't even have to link it to the xml data, simply select Global as the default binding.
Any ideas what I have done wrong, I assume it's a simple setting somewhere but I have no idea what it is.

This is my first foray into flash forms, and I discovered
yesterday that while they look/work beautifully in Firefox
(2.0.0.4), they're not displaying at all in IE (6 or 7).
I'm using it to force the user to input their date in a
uniform format, so I'm sure there's a non-flash workaround. I'd
like to get this sorted out though, so my future work with flash
can be more involved.

I think I've narrowed the problem down -- it's not that it
won't display my flash form in IE, it's that it won't display it in
a Fusebox environment. I'm going to poke over at their site to see
what they have to say -- I suspect I'll need to upgrade the version
of Fusebox that I'm using. :)
