Saved PDF graphs on one page?

When I save my survey results graph as a PDF, it is very large and separted by multiple pages. Is there a way to reduce this size to just 1 page without having to bring it into Photoshop to reduce the size to fit on a 1 page PDF?
Thanks,
Greg

I took a look at the form you shared and the Summary Report.  I created a copy of your form to experiment with and did not change anything in your form.
In order to have the entire Summary Report tile appear on a single page in PDF you can do a few things:
1) You can remove the caption from displaying in the first field, from the little settings gear on the top right corner of the report tile un-select "Caption", since you don't have one on this field and it takes up a small amount of vertical space.
2) You can change the font size used in the Summary Report tiles, there is a "T" in the toolbar that exposes the text tools, I tried a 9pt font
3) Go to "File" - "Page Setup" when you are on the Summary Report tab and you can define the size and orientation of the PDF page, I changed it to have a Paper width of 11" and a Paper height of 13" and everything fits on one page.
I hope that these tweaks satisfy your needs...
Thanks,
Josh

  • How do I make the form/pdf fit to one page?

I designed my first form today and it's two pages long.  How do I get it all to fit on one page?  It will be saved as a pdf.

While designing the form it will help to be in Page View.  This gives a very close approximation to how your fields will appear in the resulting pdf.  In the Design tab use menu View-> Page View.  All page breaks will now appear as dotted lines.  To aid in fitting more fields you can place forms side by side or reduce the font size.  Eliminating the Header also helps.

  • When exporting to PDF the words One-Pager shows up in the name

    Hello,
Occasionally, I have an InDesign file, that when I export for PDF, it adds the following to the beginning of its name "(one-pager)". Does anyone know why this happens or where it is coming from?
    thanks
    barbraa

More than likely someone added that to the export filename the first time it was invoked, then saved the ID file.
By default the PDF has the same name as the ID file, but if you change it, then save (or save after exporting, and subsequently rename the ID file), the name you used is burned into the file data and becomes the default.

  • How to display a table view and a pdf view on one page?

    Hi,
I want to build a portal page, at the top of the page , there will be a table view,
containing a list of employee, below that is a pdf file showing the profile of the selected employee.
i have finished the two parts separately, but since the pdf display require to set the response type of the page, so i think it's not possible in integrate the two parts into one page.
so do i need to use iframe? or is there any other design to solve my problem?
    thanks and best regards.

You can create main page & call other two pages which u already created using
    <b><frameset></b>
    <frameset row = "30%, 70">
      <frame src ="tableview.htm" />
      <frame src ="pdf.htm" />
    </frameset>

  • Saving PDF's using Print page on Mountain Lion?

Prior to converting to Mountain Lion I could save PDF's from the Print page, now I get a message saving PDF files when printing is not supported. Unfortunately when I use File>Save and try to email it, I only get the first page in my email NOT the PDF document that I saved.

  • View multiple pdf files in one page

    Hi experts!
I have to build a mobile website that will show multiple pdf files (not just the links) on one page for comparison. I've found out that using iFrames or embedded object is not an option since scrolling is not available in either of them. What do you suggest I use for this purpose?

    Save combined PDFs
Open the PDFs you want to combine.
In each open PDF, choose View > Thumbnails to display the pages of the PDF in the sidebar.
Drag the thumbnails you want to add (Command-click to select noncontiguous pages) to the thumbnail sidebar in the other PDF.You can add pages to the end of the document or between pages in a document. Drag thumbnails to reorder them. You can also add a PDF file before or after another PDF document.
Choose File > Export to save a new PDF containing all of the combined pages, or choose File > Save to replace the original version of the destination PDF with the version containing the combined pages.

Part of me thinks that this doesn't actually have anything to do with mail. I had problems with Safari and Finder crashing every time I they tried to open a PDF. This was partially solved by installing Adobe Acrobat Reader and designating it as the default PDF veiwing app, but this option didn't appear when I ran Mail for the first time after installing Reader.
At this point, I've repaired the disk and repaired permissions, but that's about as much as I know how to do. I'd be grateful for any help that anyone can offer.
    Thanks!

    1GHz PowerbookG4, Dual 2.5GHz G5   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    Hi Sam.
I don’t know what’s going on. I suggest reinstalling the Combo Update for the type of computer and the version of Mac OS X you’re using, unless this is the version of Mac OS X that came with your computer:
About the Mac OS X 10.4.8 Combo Update
Mac OS X 10.4.8 Combo Update for PPC
Mac OS X 10.4.8 Combo Update for Intel
Take a look at the following articles for guidelines on how to properly install system updates:
    Troubleshooting installation and software updates
    Installing software updates
Basically, you should verify/repair the startup disk before installing the update (which you say you’ve already done), no applications should be running while installing it, and you may experience unexpected results if you have third-party system software modifications (not normal applications) installed.

  • Creating PDF with links, one page of my PDF I cannot scroll or view, the PDF just jumps to the next page. Help!

    Hi Forum,
I have created a 14 page PDF with Adobe Acrobat XI. When I try to view page 13 (scrolling or just clicking on the page in thumbnails) it skips over 13 to 14 or goes back to 12. This started after creating links in the PDF from the 2nd and 3rd pages to certain page views. Is there a maximum? Right now I have about 20 or so within the document. I have updated Adobe and restarted my machine. Same issue exists. Thanks!

    Thanks!

  • CAMERA TOOL /SCORE/PDF only copies one page?

In Logic Pro 8 - I have tried and tried grabbing 3 pages from Score with the Camera Tool and page 1 saves ok. When I do page 2 and 3, I get a blank Pdf!
I have tried several times, but the same thing happens.
Changed score preferences to Clipboard, and this also doesn't appear to work?????
Help - would be very grateful for advice. Very frutstrated about something which I presume could be simply fixed.

JA1, I gave up on the camera tool long ago. If you want to capture just what you're seeing on the monitor, use ShiftCmd3 (or 4) -- the standard key commands for doing a screenshot capture. Then open the resulting graphic file in Preview (just 2-click on it) and print it out. Or use the Grab utility (utilities folder).
Or as Bill said, use Print and then save as .pdf. That's what I do 99.9% of the time.

  • Can the new numbers export PDF as more than one page?

I just upgraded to the new version of Numbers for OS X Mavericks and it seems I can not
see my document as different pages or even export a PDF as several pages.
    Thanks,
    Alex Neuman

    Hi Alex,
It took me a while to get my head around the difference between Export to PDF (everything on one page) and Print, where we can 'Print to PDF'.
    Do this:
    Menu > File > Print...
You will see Print Preview. At the bottom of the panel on the right,
click on Print. It won't print yet, but will take you here:
Now we see Page 1 of 4 .
Click on PDF to go here:
Choose Save as PDF to a folder of your choice (mine is called Desktop Temp). In Finder, open that folder then double click on the PDF to open in Preview.
    Then Print from Preview.
    Phew.
    Regards,
    Ian.

  • How to print two sides with one page?

I have a PDF that is one page long and I'd like to print the same thing twice (front and back) on one page. Can I do that?
I've tried printing two copies with the printer set to double-sided, but it just printed two sheets with one side on each sheet.

Well sure; Go back to the authoring application that created the documents and do a 2-UP page. Make the existingg page large enough to accomodate the extra content. Is that what you're asking or do you really mean print to a printer with a back up ? In that case just flip the page over and print page 2 on the other side.
Or are we missing something ?

  • Splitting PDF Document in several Pages

    Hi ABAPers!
I'd like to break up a PDF document - which contains more than one page - into a single PDF document for each page (e.g. one big PDF document with 100 pages should become 100 PDF documents containing one page).
Does anyone know an internet source, where I can obtain more information regarding PDF formats in general (ideally with ABAP)?
I am familiar with reading of PDF, converting from OTF, et cetera. I either need a splitting tool like a report/function module (shipped with the SAP standard?) or a "how-to" manage splitting PDF documents. Also custom ABAP coding is welcome.
Any help is appreciated. Points are given in return.

  • Help Needed: InDesign Scripting: PDF Multiple Files and Pages Import

    I am looking for a script to merge two PDFs in InDesign CS3 (Mac or PC);
with an interesting twist for print production.
We have one PDF that is 408 pages. The second PDF is only one page.
What we need to accomplish is importing the 408-page PDF file into InDesign,
then inserting the second 1-page 408 times PDF AFTER every page of the first
    file.
This will make a 816-page file, where every other page is the "generic" PDF.
I've used PDFplacer.jsx and it does a great job of bringing in a PDF to
InDesign. I'm hoping that there is another script to bring in the second
1-page PDF and have it place this PDF after every page of the file.
Does anyone know of a script that will accomplish this task?
I'd also consider having this same scenario done in Acrobat, and then
sending this new 816 page file to print, if there is any benefit to creating
    the file this way.
Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Jim Lukens-Gable

    Thanks, Robin,
I am really a novice at scripting . . . would you be able to modify the script and then send it to me/post it here?
    Thank you!

  • One page displays as negative image when saving PDF to reduced size in Preview

    Imac Intel Mid 2007
    OS X 10.5.8
    Preview v4.2
I have a multi-page PDF I'm trying to save to a reduced size.
The document was constructed of separate pages, some of which were created as Photoshop PDFs in Photoshop CS4 and others were saved as PDF's from Word.  After moving over the individual PDF's to the side bar, the document saves fine in Preview at full size. When I use the quartz filter to "Save As"  "Reduced File Size" one page saves as a negative image and the others are all fine.
One suggestion I saw in a similar thread was that the mode in PS might be CMYK, however it is not and it is RGB.
Any help as to solving this would be greatly appreciated.

    n.gilbert wrote:
If I select all pages 'save as' will only save out one page and not all.
    JPEG is single-page.
If I print and choose 'pdf to jpeg'
    Elaborate, please.
Is there a way to save to pages out in one go to jpeg where I can adjust the dpi setting?
Yes. Build an Automator workflow using the PDFs > Render PDF Pages as Images action.
Once I have the reduced jpegs it's easy enough to reimport into preview and save as a pdf.
If the desired final output is multi-page PDF, no need to go through all that. You can do the task in Acrobat Pro (PDF Optimizer), or in Preview (Save as > PDF > Quartz Filter). If the current Reduce File Size filter doesn't provide satisfactory quality, use ColorSync Utility to duplicate it (or make a new filter from scratch) and adjust it to fit your needs.
