Saved search not navigating for only one user

Hi Everyone,
I have a saved search that navigates for all users except one. Furthermore, on that same search screen if I use a different object type, do a search and save it, the saved search works for that user. So it seems like it is related to the object type I'm searching for.
since it is working for some users, I don't think it is related to some IP or OP settings.
any idea what could cause this issue?

ICal alerts not working for only one user

My main user account stopped giving me iCal alerts. I can switch to another user and my test alert works. I've found a lot of information online but most seems to be for older versions of iCal. I have gone into ~user/Library and removed everything related to iCal. I even managed to finally delete the home calendar that seemed to re-appear. I managed to start with a clean calendar but no alerts. Is there an alert plist file that could be the culprit? I've done a global search in Terminal for anything under ~User/Library with "alert" or "notification" in the filename but can't find anything. I hate to rebuild an entire account again.

Program installed for only one user

Have a program that is installed for only one user, how can I get another user access to the software? don't have install disk.

Select the application's icon then Press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window. In the Ownership and Sharing section check the owner and group assignments. If they have owner=you and group=you or staff, then you must change those. Open the Terminal application in the Utilities folder and enter the following command line at the prompt:
sudo chown -R root:admin
Put a space after "admin' then drag the application's icon into the Terminal window and press RETURN. You will be prompted for your admin password which will not be echoed.
This should enable other users to access the application provided you have given the user access via their managed account preferences in Accounts preferences.

Why does the Error: 500 SC_INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR appear when multiple users access my JSPs but does not occur when only one user accesses my JSPs?

When multiple users run my JSP application, why do some users get an Error: 500 SC_INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR for certain JSP pages with the error message No such file or directory. The JSP listed on the Error 500 page varies and is not always the same. When only one user runs my JSP application, the problem does not occur?
The database connection is held when the user logs in or accesses certain parts of the JSP and then is immediately released. No connections to the database are held.
We are using Solaris 8 with MU_6 plus recommended patches.
Enterprise Ultra 250
iAS 6 SP 3

Is anything showing up in the KXS or KJS logs?
It sounds like you might having some kind of thread safety issue with your code. Either that or your guess about running out of database connections.

PDF file not generating for only one Invoice billing document

Hi all,
We have upgraded our system into ECC6.0 from 4.7 version. During our Testing time, we have found the following Bug:
Bug: Not possible to get output in pdf format for only one Invoice type(TR code: VF02) except for all it is generating PDF output.
Can anybody help me out to find the route cause for this problem.

For one Billing-Invoice type , PDF is not generating. But it is generating for other Invoices.
So should i need to go through the Printer settings?

Search is not working for only one site collection

Hi All,
I have one issue where users are searching something on a site collection nothing is coming out. Search is working on web application level but not in only one site collection.

Accounts search not working for only the specific user

Hi friends,
We have configured E.P 7.0 with CRM 5.0 and configured CRM PCUI business package.
We have role called <b>accounts abd products</b> in portal. So accounts can be searched in this role.
Now our severity issue is for one of the super user,for ex su1, accounts search is not working in portal but the same is working in CRM GUI.
for example if we search for an account 233445(or any other account) in portal its showing no data found but if we search with the same criteria data is displaying CRM GUI.
We have checked with other 2 super ids. Both ends portal and gui search is working fine.
Am unable to figure out whats the cause of the issue as search is not working only for one user su1 .
we have checked by restarting the server also to clear the memory cache.But still search is not working in portal.
Could anyone of u please advice ASAP as this is severity issue.

Reinstalling data from Time Capsule, but for only one user

I just got a new-used MacBook Pro and need to use Time Capsule to retrieve my old hard drive's data, but I do not want to overwrite the existing data on the laptop's drive, since it is different, including the OS, I believe. I would like to split the disc, as it were, without partitioning it, for multiple users using Time Capsule. Can I safely use Time Capsule to put all the files only into one user account, or do I need to wipe the drive and partition...?

You can use the +Migration Assistant+ app to transfer one or more user accounts from the old Mac, without overwriting anything on the new one. Those will be a separate accounts, with the same logins as on the old Mac. Each user account will have it's own preferences, data, etc. See the pink box in #19 of Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of this forum), for details.
That won't "merge" two or more user accounts, since each user's data is private. You can do that manually, if you want, by copying data from one user account to another, but it's rather tedious.
You may also need to be careful if there's a big difference in the versions of OSX and/or 3rd-party apps on the two Macs; you may have apps and/or data on one that aren't compatible with the other. In many cases, a newer version of an app will work with the data from an older version, but not vice-versa. You may want to check that out rather carefully first.
If that's a "deal breaker," there may be a (rather clumsy) workaround; partition the internal disk, so you have, say, Leopard on one partition and Snow Leopard on the other. Then boot from whichever you want. In that case, you'd do a full system restore to the new partition, per #14 in the FAQ. That will only work, though, if the Pro will even run the other version -- generally, a Mac won't run a version of OSX that's older than the Mac's hardware.

Site looks different for only one user

I just updated our Intranet for the service reps. The site
uses the Spry Vertical Menu on the left hand side. I have one user
who has the entire left hand side cut off which is where the
vertical menu is, so she's not able to navigate around. I checked 6
other users and they're all fine. I tried refreshing her page,
deleting temps, deleting cookies. All individuals are using
IE/windows xp. Is there something else I can try to get this to
work for her.

How to download an app for only one user

I have an iMac running the latest version of lion and I want to download and app from Mac app store but I only want to download it for one user, how can I do that?

If you wish for an app to only be available in one user account, create an Applications folder in the Home folder of that user account and drag and drop the app to that folder.

Firefox crashes for only one user on startup, even after reset; safe mode OK.

Current crashes do not even produce crash reports, but two crashes from earlier today did yield:

Starting in safe mode shows the same installed plugins and two extensions that are enabled in profiles for other users on this system. It is only this user's Firefox that crashes on startup, even after a reset.
Have also uninstalled and re-installed Firefox. Again, it crashes on startup only for this user.
Windows event viewer does have several entries for an Application Error:
Faulting application name: plugin-container.exe, version: 32.0.3.5379, time stamp: 0x54224e6b
Faulting module name: mozalloc.dll, version: 32.0.3.5379, time stamp: 0x54221b67
Exception code: 0x80000003
but it's not clear that these entries sync up with the crashes.
This crashing on startup began this morning; no new software or any other system modifications (that I'm aware of) for several weeks now.

The hardware acceleration setting appears to be the culprit. After unchecking the Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available" setting, Firefox no longer crashes on startup.
Initially I'd glossed over this setting since it isn't an issue for any of the other users on this system. I'm still puzzled as to why this would be an issue only for this user, and what had changed as of this morning that set it off, but obviously there's something about their configuration which triggers this situation, even for the default plain vanilla Firefox profile!

Imessage not working for only one contact all of a sudden

I can not recieve imessages from one contact. We have always been able to use imessage and just yesterday all of a sudden the only way we can text is if I turn imessage off. I can use imessage for everyone else and he can use imessage for everyone else, we just all of a sudden can't use it to text each other now.
I am reset my phone, deleted and added him again, and he has tried the same.

How can I burn a CD or DVD that only my user can read?
I go to backup my personal informations and want to sure that no other people have access to this CD.
I use the Toast Titanium 7.1.2, but if other software can do this, I can buy it!

Thanks to all. But now, I see some thing that make this idea of a disk image, not good. Lets say, that I burn a DVD with a disk image inside the DVD. If I get, just a little risk on de DVD, I lost all the informations. If I dont use a disk image, I lost only the information, in that little risk. And because I go use this as a backup, this problem with security is a problem.
So, if somebody know another way, to burn a DVD, that only my user have access, please, let me know.

PPro crashes for only one user

We run Adobe CC 2013 on a Dell T7600, 32MB RAM, K5000 GPU. Lots of internal storage. Two identical systems have been running like a champ since 12/2013.
Long story as to why we're on CC 2013. Suffice it to say it still runs great, except for one user.
Ppro crashes every time they try to open an existing project. The rest of us can log on and open them without difficulty.
No recent installs of anything. THe user in question is a reliable user who doesn't do dumb things. All other users have no difficulty.
We have tried having them start PPro with the ALT+SHIFT key. We have deleted all Media Cache files for all users.

I would suggest two things:
Rename the 'Adobe' folder in your Documents library to 'OldAdobe' and then try to open the project. If it fails, then
Create a new project, without importing anything go to Window > Workspace > Uncheck 'Import Workspace from Projects' . Then go to Window > Workspace > Reset current workspace. Save the project. Then see if it works.

On the iPhone that can't send or receive iMessages, make sure iMessage is On in Settings > Message.
Also, try the tips in this Apple doc -> iOS: Troubleshooting Messages
If you still can't send or receive iMessages
To send and receive iMessages, your device must have a valid cellular or Wi-Fi data connection.
