Saving a picture to use on Ebay

Hello I am working from the adobe photoshop elements 5.0 and I am layering pictures that works fine but when I go to save the picture that I created to my desk top the phptoshop icon shows up and then when I try to open the picture the whole program opens, is there a way to save just the picture that I have created so I can use the picture to sell something on Ebay

Sorry but there is no way windows can recover a TM backup. You have to use another Mac.
TM is uniquely Mac.

Intermittent saving of pictures from iPhone camera

I have several camera apps, and on most occasions, once the shot has been taken, the camera app says it has saved the picture, yet the picture never appears in the "photos" folder (or "camera roll"). Where did the pictures go--any ideas?

usually any pictures used to be saved to the "camera roll"...until recently (upgrade to OS4.0). I have upgraded all 10 camera apps...sometimes they save to the camera roll, most times not. Each app. does not designate to where the pictures are to be saved (I have always assumed the camera roll). I can't figure it out....
when I try each app, each app says it is being "saved." Yet when I double check the camera roll, that picture was not saved--so I try another camera app...same results--camera says "yes", but camera roll says "no."

Hi all,
there is one user who is trying to upload a pic in her sharepoint mysite but when she choos a pic and click on upload buttone it says "there was an error saving the picture. please try again later". I have googled it a lot and found most of the
articles saying it is related to SP1 and CU...few of them saying its a known error MS will fix it in December's 2011 CU . I checked in my environment and we are already running April 2012 CU and SP1.
I tried uploading the pic manually to mysite host location user profile and then updating through update-spprofilephotostore but no luck.
Also activated a mysite site collection feature "Document ID service" but no luck.
Now i dont have any clue what to do, please help me its very critical...

Are you using SharePoint 2010 or SharePoint 2013?
Did this issue occur for all users or the special user?
Please go to Central Administration->Manage service applications->User Profile service application->manage user profile, search and edit the user profile, then upload a picture for the user, compare the result.
In addition, please check the log file to check more information about this issue.
The path of the log file is:
SharePoint 2010: C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS
SharePoint 2013: C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS

IOS4 issue on 3GS-can't access pictures or use camera!

I updated my 3GS with the iOS 4 software as soon as it was available. I did all the things Apple adviced me to do prior to the update- such as transfer bought items and backup my iphone.
After updating the 3GS with iOS 4 everything seemed to be going well, except for 2 things.....I can't start the camera and I can't reach my pictures.......when I click on either- the iphone starts connecting to the picture library, but after 4-5 secs the program shuts down and I'm back in home-mode!
I've tried to restore from factory settings but the same thing remains (and restore with previous saved security backup)...can't access pictures or use the camera.
Although if I restore and set up as "new iphone" instead of backing up previous settings and media everything works! Camera works and I can enter picture area (although off course it is empty.....being a new iphone)
So there seems to have been a problem with the backup prior to the iOS4 update.....
Funny thing is that when I have the iphone connected to the pc and I look at iTunes....there is 1.65 GB of pictures on my iphone...although I just can't see it.....
Also in the previous iTunes there used to be a tab for "pictures" just like "movies" "Music" "tv-shows" etc etc......no the "picture" tab is missing.........?!?!
My wife also has a 3GS and I did the software update on hers.....and there everything works just fine!!
I have so far come to the conclusion that I could restore to factory settings and start fresh with the option "set up as new iphone", but then I would loose all contacts.....all programs and email settings........which is a pain in the butt.........
I'd appreciate if someone could help me because the help desk in Norway (Apple resellers) don't have a clew.....

Someone gave me help in my own thread. They used a Mac program and deleted files, but Im on Windows 7.
I used iBackupBot 3.0.7
Just load it up (I had my phone connected). The select a backup and then select 'Browse and export media' button then on the pop up window is a complete list of all my missing media. There is an export button in the top corner.
I have all my photos and videos back now YAY!

I have always downloaded pictures by using a card reader wich I connect to my computer. I Go to the Organizer, click on "Import" and select "From camera or card reader". Once on the Photo Downloader, I select the pictures, chose the folder and click on "Get Media" and all the photos get downloaded. Today I folled the same procedure as always, but ZI'm gettig an error message that reads"Import Failed" followed by another message that reads "Nothing was imported. The file(s) or folder(s) selected to import did not contain any supported file types, or the files are already in this Catalog." I'm puzzled by this message and don't know what to do o get my photos. Any suggestions?

The organizer doesn't care where you send your photos when you download them via the downloader or where they happen to be when you first bring them in if you use the Get Photos command, but once your pics are in the Organizer, you *must* move them from within organizer or it can't find them. You don't have to use My Pictures at all if you don't want to, but regardless of the folder where you put your photos, if you want them someplace else, you use organizer to do it.

Streamloader error in picture gallery using personal domain

I've upgraded my site to iWeb '08 and added a Picture Gallery page to aggregate all my different picture pages. Everything works great when I'm viewing it using my web.mac.com/ URL. However, if I navigate to the page using my personal domain, which I've set up, the gallery doesn't work correctly on either Safari (mac) or IE (pc), I only get the shell page and no pictures galleries.
Works:

Using the domain URL, I get these errors for each of my galleries:
Safari doesn't indicate any type of error.

I am having that exact same problem, but it only started recently. I thought it was due to some adsense ads that I placed at the bottom of each page, but after I removed them the pictures still don't work. I have tried everything I can think of, but it only works if I use my web.mac.com instead of my domain.
I have only tried viewing it in Firefox, but I'm assuming the same problem will occur in IE and Safari as well.

You'll likely need the assistance of some third party software such as the one below to get the job done. Keep in mind that your photos will no longer be in their full resolution, but instead will be the scaled down thumbnail versions that were optimized for viewing on your iPod.

Send a picture file using sockets

Hi,
Could someone please tell me how I can send a picture file using sockets across a TCP/IP network? I have managed to do it by converting the file into a byte array and then sending it but I dont see the data back at the client when I recieve the file. I just see the byte array as having size 0 at client.
Byte array size is correct at client side.

i used OutputStream as

But I still get the same output on the client side. I tried sending a string and it works , but I cant seem to be able to populate the byte array on the client side. It keeps showing zero. Please advise.

Did you insert the disk that is labeled mac os?
After you insert the disk, it should show on your desktop.
If you double click on the the disk icon on the desktop, does anything happen?
