My requirement is when my client saves a particular RFQ or RFP in CRM 2007 it needs to be converted into the PDF or DOC format and it has to be stored in the separate DMS server which is
Lotus Domino.Doc 6.5 and not on the SAP server. Kindly reply

I have configured a DMS content server to save the attachments from CRM. but can not get the store in the content, as I can do? Attachments I keep it via web from the interlocutor.
I touched the table SDOKPHCL and the value BDS_POC1 and I have put the value of content, but still keep it to or at the base's own CRM.

Table SOFFCONT1 attachments are stored that are recorded in the database logic of sap. That is if the id of the document not find it in this chart means that you are storing away in a content server.
I've gotten crm annexes the content stored on a server.
The first thing I have done is create a content server-class CRM. OAC0 in, then I created the category AOCRS taking the content. CSADMIN and I found that the content is running.
In transaction SKPR08 BDS_POC1 class I have assigned to the Z-server content that I created. and in all kinds of CRM type I have assigned the new Z category I created.
After the transaction SBDSV2 I created a new record with BUS1006 in this case because it was a contact in CRM and I have given the document class Z BDS_ATTACH the category of content.
The BUS is obtained by a trace of the transaction and SWELS swel (with some modification from the transaction in which I attach the document).
In SBDSV1 I've got to bus1006 BDS_LOC1 class.
And with that I have solved the problem.

Very spooky. Not always reproducible, but it happened to me while using Office365-Outlook web-based email (saving a PDF).
RE: the suggestion, checking security box "allow apps downloaded from all sites" I would really rather not do that.
On my system it is set to allow "Mac App store and identified developers."

SD customer replication from CRM 2007 in ISU

Hi Experts,
I am creating a Business partner in CRM 2007 in role sold to party which is getting replicated in ISU system(Entry is saved in table BUT000) also the entry for SD customer gets saved in table KNA1; however system can not retrieve sales area for customer (No entry in table KNVV).
Sales area has already been maintained for Reference customer and required configuration is also in place.
Please let me know if anyone has faced similar kind of issue.

Hello Amit,
As far as I know the reference customer is used when your business partner is created in ISU only.
If you create your business partner in CRM you will have to add your sales area manually, or via "mini-templates" for example... but the reference business partner won't be used (check the relevant cookbook: ref BP is used for data transfer from ISU --> CRM but not from CRM --> ISU).

SSO from CRM 2007 to ITS of R/3 4.7.

Hi Experts,
We are using CRM 2007 interaction center.
We have provided some links to R/3 transaction using transaction launcher.
Now we need to implement SSO to the R/3 system.
We are using Standalone ITS 6.20 system to connect to R/3 from Interaction Center.
Please help us with configuration steps for SSO.
Is there any way to achieve this without using PAS?
Systems:CRM 2007.
ITS :ITS 620
R/3 :4.7 EE

I am using R3 4.7 EE (i am using SAP IDES) and It's Server is 6.20.
so this version does not have Internal ITS ?
Are u suggesting me to go for Standalone ITS then ? Pls give me elaborate reply.

Extract data from CRM 2007 (CRM 6.0)

When BW-ekstraktion, g.e. 0BPARTNER_ATTR, we will get infopackage error:
8 when starting the extraction program
The problem is in SAP CRM 2007. This system has been setup as (transaction kode CRMC_REPO_OPT) "BP BI AND INTERACTIVE REPORTING" as activeted.
In Transaction kode SBIW "Control parameters for data transfer from the souce system" the field "Target system for background job" has value CRMCLNT150 (BW INTERACTIVE REPORTING client in the CRM 2007 system). This is done for getting the CRM 2007 "CRM Interactive Reporting" to work.
"Target system for background job" must be empty (Note 147104) else can't SAP BW get any data.
We need to get both "CRM Interactive Reporting" and BW data loads to work. Has any one got "luck" with data load to BI 7.0 and CRM INTERACTIVE REPORTING (CRM 2007) running at the same time ?

Why do you need to copy it? The data is easily available from R/3 via RFC.

Upgrade from CRM 2007 to CRM 7.0

I have a quick question regarding upgrade possibility. CRM 2007 was installed with dual stack (ABAP & JAVA). Now SAP does not allow to install dual stack (see note 855534). This is the case for CRM 7.0 With fresh installation we need one system with ABAP and one with JAVA.
The question is : if I have dual stack and what to upgrade to the latest version, what happens? I have found information that for CRM upgrade with dual stack I need files from folder SAP CRM--> SAP CRM 7.0 / NW7.01.
Can we have CRM 7.0 with dual stack ?

Sales Orders Not Replicating from CRM 2007 to ECC 6.0

I have been able to successfully replicate my Customers from ECC to CRM. When attempting to replicate a Sales Order from CRM into ECC, the BDoc shows as "Confirmed (fully processed)" in SMW01. When I look at the list of receivers, it shows my ECC system, with a state of "Processed". However, when I look at the Error Segments on the BDoc, I have two events:
1. No Upload into R/3
2. R/3 Adapter is Called
Any thoughts on what I am missing?

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I have a publication of "All Business Transactions (MESG)" with a subscription of my ECC system. The BDocs never make it into the Outbound queue. I purposely stopped the outbound queue to see if it would show-up ... it never comes in.

Extract list of Business Partner attachments from CRM to BW

Hi All.
I have a need to extract from CRM to BW a list of documents (Name only, not the actual document) that are attached to CRM Business Partners. Does anyone know of a business content datasource that would provide this? Lacking that, would anyone know on which tables this information is stored in CRM?

you can create WD reports and may be able to call them by using their URLs. Use the call_browser function to call the application.

How do you save attachments from an email?? I received a ringtone and would like to save it to my phone, can this be done?

You can't save a ringtone from email. Ringtones can only come from synchronisation with iTunes on your computer or from the iTunes app on your iPhone.

HR Benefit-Claim Attachments from portal & linkage to DMS content server

Hello DMS Experts,
Our client is using standard HR functionality for telephone bill claim and attaching scanned bill copy through enterprise portal during creation of claim.
Due to higher frequency of file upload there is issue that PCL4 cluster size increased upto 600 GB within short time & total available size in 800 GB.
In the above scenario, client is expecting solution from DMS side to resolve this issue. Clients main concern is to reduce attachment load from ECC server. Could you help me how to arrest this problem through DMS functionality?
1. I tried to find the solution through Archive linking as there is no standard DMS object link for HR.
I got following Object type with link TOAHR. ( PREL, PAPL, PBS_NOTIF, CERTIFPAYD, EMPLOYTXDE, GLOBASSIGN, GLOBASSIGN ), but I failed to get object type for Employee No. & Claim No. to link the document through OAAD transaction.
Do you know the Archive linking object type to link the document to employee no. & claim no. ?
2. Since default Storage type setting for HR repository "HR_KW_CONT" is SAP System Data base, If I create standard HR repository "HR_KW_CONT" (assuming PCL4 cluster attachments stored in this repository) on DMS content server through OACT transaction, can i divert the attachment from SAP data base to content server?
3. If you have any other solution to resolve this issue, please guide me.

ISBC Replication from CRM 2007 to R/3 4.7

Dear Experts
We are working on internet sales where we have to Replicate Transaction type (ISBC) from CRM2007 to R/3 4.7 . for further execution.Is it possibe to replicate to R/3 or do i need to create new transaction type i.e ISBC in R/3.
We have maintained ALL BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS (PUBLICATIONS) and Subcriptions any thing else have to be maintain.
Could You please help me how to solve this issue.

Hi Sri,
Initiallty you must have the m/w plugin installed in your R/3 system and crm system. you can chek for PI_BASIS in system->help menu for this.
For data to come from R/3 to CRM(initial loads)
R/3(inital loads)
1)On the R/3 check first the table CRMConsum. Here the you have have the CRM system as consumer and it should be active.
2)then check the table CRMRFCPAR, here again for CRM as consumer you need to define the adapter objects for which the data will come form R/3 to CRM.
CRM
1)Make sure the adapter objects are properly defined in R3AC1(r3ac3 for customizing downloads).
2)Create a site for R/3 in smoeac txn
3)maintain subscriptons for the bdoc(from data to go out of crm(
4)trigger the initial load
Once Initial load trigger would also make sure that the delta handlng events are also registered so taht in future delta downloads also will happen smoothly.
SMW01 txn can be used to check for Bdoc status.

Cannot print attachments from Outlook 2007

I have a user who has Outlook 2007 with Acrobat Reader XI currently and wants to print all the attachments within his emails when he prints the email itself. I have also tried Acrobat XI Standard with the same results. After a week or so he stops being able to print the attachments, then I'll stop all acrobat processes, close outlook, maybe reboot and it works again. Why does acrobat continue to freeze up?
