I have TabMixPlus and All-In-One Gestures 0.22.1 installed... have not changed any settings in them, checked to see if there was a setting to change (no), and find that the only way to keep this from happening is to restart FF 5.0. If I do NOT copy a link, then this issue does not exist. AFTER I copy a link and paste it into a new tab, Facebook, etc., then it is in memory and gets pasted with a mouse-wheel click.

been looking for something a bit like it got an old ipod thouch in a audio dock in the kitchen and want to give it access to all my music not just play what is synced
so far my only options is to get an app to use upnp to get the music directly from my nas
or get some app which require the computer to be running and running some program to handle it
and as far as I can tell getting access to stuff synced on the atv is a no go

Saving changes in the Search Window

How do I save changes in the search window? Is this possible?

I mean, when you go to File > Find and the window titled New Search comes up I make changes to search specific places, view as list, view by modified date, etc. Is there a way to make these the default settings so that every time I go to File > Find these settings are saved? Thanks.

How can I close a document without saving changes?

I'm using Pages 4.3 with OS10.9.1.
Before I upgraded to OS10.9.1, when I closed a document (Command W) it asked me first if I want to save the changes I'd made to the document. I had the option of saving or not saving.
Sometimes I want to close a document without saving the changes, for example if I edit a text, then decide I prefer the unedited version.
But now that I'm using OS10.9.1, when I close a document, it automatically saves any changes I've made.
How can I get back to the original option of saving or not saving changes when I close a document? This option was available with the same version of Pages, when used with an earlier OS.
I've searched the Pages Users Guide, but can't find any answer, or default settings. Pages Preferences doesn't seem to address this.
I'm not using track changes, so I don't think that's the problem.
Any solutions would be greatly appreciated!

But I found the solution, for anyone else who is having the same problem....
Open your computer's System Preferences > General, and click the box "Ask to keep changes when closing documents."
Now, when you close a document in Pages, a window will open giving you the option of saving changes or not.
(I don't know whether this works in Pagesv.5., buty it works with v.4.3)

S/pdif input settings?

I can't find any information in the Logic 8 manual to change my input settings to s/pdif.
I am using an MBox2Pro with a Grace Design Lunatec V3 which offers s/pdif as the highest quality route for A/D conversion.

I found it in "i/o labels" on the mixer page - chose s/pdif for inputs 5 and 6. Working fine now.
I was having some clock issues as well and thought I had to change the MIDI sync but that wasn't the case, it was a matter of having the Grace at 48 kHz and Logic at 44.1. They didn't like each other at all with those settings...

I can sense I'm becoming a regular on this particular forum - the problem of spending 8 hours a day trying to get this software working!
_*The problem*_
When i try and setup a new device, or modify an existing one, I get an error message when i get to the Transcode Settings page. The error message is "Querying or saving changes to the database failed." After this I get a blank screen and can no longer see my settings.
No amount of restarting has fixed this. And I cannot see a way to create a device through the client software and add transcode settings.
Help?

Ok - it seems then that this works absolutely fine as a work around. I can create a device and then assign the device to transcode settings through the client adminsitration panel (which is indeed what I meant).
So, there is a work around. Far less pressing now, but I would like to know why I'm getting the error message all the same - I'm now concerned about the integrity of the database...

PO not printed after saving changes in ME22N

Hi,
User changed quantity on one of the line items and saved the PO but it did not create output type and trigger printout for the changed item.
I checked settings in IMG for Purchasing .EVerything is fine, messages are created for other Vendors when PO is changed in ME22n and saved.
I am not sure what could be the issue here, can someone pls help.

Hi,
The print relavent field control does not depend upon vendors.
If for a perticular vendor it is not getting printed then check the "Fields Relevant to Printouts of Changes" table for EKPO-MENGE
1. Field is maintained
2. Print relavent indicator is ticked
3. Any routine is assigned to it if so please che the routine.

'save as' finder window settings and size (on mac)

Hi there ~
Whenever saving/downloading any type of file from any firefox tab, and the 'save as' window opens and I choose where I want the file to be downloaded to, the finder window columns are really tight and narrow, cutting off the folder names so I constantly have to stretch out that first column so I can see the folder names .. this only happens in firefox and the finder window is always squooshed, even if I adjust it and then close/relaunch firefox .. how can I permanently set the finder window settings to avoid having to manually adjust it each time?

How to make Lightroom reflect changes made in Finder?

I'm new to Lightroom so am still getting used to the interface.
I have a video (mp4) in one of my Lightroom folders and I wanted to rotate it because it was sideways, so I found the file in Finder, opened it in Quicktime Pro, rotated it and saved the change. But when I view the video in Lightroom it is still sideways. Why doesn't Lightroom reflect the change? Is it not reading the video file when it plays it?
Even more generally, if I move a photo from one folder into another in Finder, this change is also not reflected in Lightroom. Is there a way I can have it "refresh" and see these changes?

Lightroom was not designed to do this. You can manually help lightroom find these moved files, but there is no automatic function to do so.
Therefore, stop making changes in the Finder. If you need to move photos, you do this entirely in Lightroom. Or better yet, develop a workflow that and doesn't require moving photos from one place to another (which saves you time). But in general, if you want a photo to wind up in folder Z, why don't you just put it in folder Z straight out of the camera instead of putting it in folder A first and later moving it to folder Z?

Ok, thanks. I usually switch between a netbook and laptop with updated work saved on your server. Any possibility I could get a 10 day extension on the server. It would help me to move everything over to one computer and workout my logistics. The problem is I'm an English teacher in Eastern Europe and so my resources tend to be limited.

Day light saving changes in UCCX scripting.

Hi, We are using UCCX version 8.X and we have script like press 1 to go shangai tem, press 2 to go to US team like that.
In the time of day light saving we are doing manual changes in time of day settings manually when ever the location day light savings changes.
so is there a way to the script refer the local time zone according to the region day light savings.
or the reqired OS patched time zone patches will solve the problem please suggests.

Hi,
UCCX uses its own time in the server to lookup the time. you need to configure the proper timezone for your UCCX. if shangai and US change start using daylight saving at the same date, you don't need to change your script. if not, unfortunately you need to change the time in the script itself.

Changing Media Touch Inductive Panel Settings? for U330

So yay I finally got my computer! Thank you Lenovo forums...
I have a ideapad u330, and everytime i use the touch sensitive inductive panel that controls my media player, it opens Windows Media Player. I want to use iTunes, and have been trying to tinker with it but cannot find the settings or config for the inductive panel, has anybody figured it out?

I was bored so I added an autostart with windows function to my program that prevents the autostart of WMP with the play button. I'm not sure if it'd work for the U330, but you could try it.

This archive contains FindKey32.exe and a folder named FindKey32. The folder contains the source (done in VC++ Express 2009, although it's just plain old C using Win32 API) while the exe is the actual program.
Background:
FindKey32.exe was originally designed to remap the media keys on the keyboard (actually the first thought was to find out the keycodes corresponding to the media keys, hence the name), but through a mistake on the coding, it was found that the program is able to stop the automatic startup of Windows Media Player whenever the play key is pressed on the keyboard on the Lenovo Y510.
Purpose:
As long as the program is running, it will prevent the automatic startup of WMP when the play key is pressed. If interested, you are also able to check the keycodes of any key on your keyboard (ones that generate a keycode anyways, since the Fn key doesn't actually exist as far as the OS is concerned and doesn't generate a keycode).
Instructions:
In short:
shift + Fn + ctrl + windows key + alt + PgUp to show the main window
shift + Fn + ctrl + windows key + alt + PgDn to hide the main window
enable/disable autostart using the options menu
In detail:
Extract and place FindKey32.exe anywhere you'd like. Run the program. No windows will show up. To view the program's main window, press the key combination (shift + Fn + ctrl + windows key + alt + PgUp, which is basically the lower left corner plus the home button for the Y510). On this window, you will see the key codes for the keys you've entered in the past (don't worry, none of the information is saved, check the source if you'd like). The list will clear after every 500 keystrokes so that the program doesn't try to eat your memory after longterm use. Pressing (shift + Fn + ctrl + windows key + alt + PgDn) will hide the window whereas closing the window will quit the program).
If you'd like to run the program automatically as Windows starts up, open the main window and on the menu go to Options -> set autostart. If you no longer want it to autostart, choose remove. If you moved the exe after you've set autostart, you must reset it by pressing on set autostart again.

Saving Changes in QT Pro on a Samba share

Hi everybody,
i have huge problems with saving changes from a Mac (Mavericks) on a Mov-Container when the file is stored on a SMB- or AFP-Share on a Debian Server.
To be a bit more concrete:
I have a MOV-Container containing some AudioTracks which is stored on a Server with AFP or SMB (Debian Wheezy or Windows 2008 Server). When i want to change the channel-layout or other Metadata-Stuff i can´t save the changes. When i Press CTRL-S the Mac Error-Sound comes up.
I need to work with a Mac.
Does anybody have an idea, if the problem is on the Mac-Side or on specific Settings on the storage side.
