Saving Facebook photos to Photos

It has always worked to enlarge the photo in Facebook, press on it and click the Save Photo. It would always save to Photos. It does not appear to be working now. Any ideas what I am doing wrong.

Maps, lack of YouTube, no Siri on the iPad 2 .... It has started to die down a bit now, bit it really was ugly here for a while as well. I am shooting for the new iPhone for me and my wife in the next couple of weeks. I have never owned an iPhone or any kind of smart-phone before. I'm looking forward to it. My kids both have iPhones (which we bought and pay for) but my wife and I are still using regular old cell phones.
Good to see you back here again. I'm off to dreamland now ... First day back to work in a week and a half tomorrow. I will need to be retrained.

Saving facebook photos while on safari

Why am I no longer able to press and hold the picture I want to save? It used to give me the option to save it, but now it just loads the next picture in the album. I'm able to save other photos on other sites while using safari, but not facebook. It is ever since I upgraded to OS 4.1. I have the 3gs, BTW

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click Details then type facebook in the search field then remove all facebook related items.
Now empty the Safari cache. Press Command + Option + E on your keyboard.
Quit and relaunch Safari. Try accessing your Facebook page.
If that didn't help, click History from the Safari menu bar then click Clear History.
Quit and relaunch Safari and try Facebook again.

IPad no longer saving Facebook photos?

I used to be able to save photos from the Facebook app, but not anymore. Normally, I would hold my finger on the photo I wants to save, receive the save request prompt then select save. After, all that the photo would be I'm my photos or camera roll but since OS6 sometimes it saves and sometimes it doesn't. Any suggestions? Thanks

You are probably saving from the thumbnail of the photo. You need to have the photo full size on the facebook screen before saving it.

when you tried to save did facebook ask you permission to access to the camera roll?
if not close and open facebook and try to save a picture and see if it pops with the question.
if it doesn't, goto settings>privacy>photos and see if facebook is added there,
if it's added and not enabled, enable it.
if everything mentioned above fails, do a reset by holding the power and home button until the apple logo appears ignoring the slide the switch off and try again to save it

iTunes: Syncing photos

I Start a New am so frustrated with problems syncing photos on my iPad. I choose which files to sync but get deleted photos in my albums, my photos are in the wrong albums and the weirdest of all- I now have strange graphics and Facebook photos in albums!

I have spent several hours trying to find a solution to the following problems. After syncing my IPad with ITunes, I end up with photos that I previously deleted in my albums, duplicate photos, albums that have wrong pictures in them and weirdest of all, strange graphics and Facebook photos that are not even mine. Right now I hate this thing!
I have scanned the support forums, Googled it, deleted several photo caches, spent days editing my photo files, checked the specific folders I wanted to sync and it seems like it's not syncing, just adding the same photos and strange crap that it already had on it. Oh please help me!

OK....I'm stumped. The message you are seeing is typically there to protect someone from syncing with a different computer/iTunes account. Is there any way anyone else has used your iPad and possibly connected it to their computer?

This sounds more like a Windows question, than a Firefox question. When you say that an image shows up every time you open your computer, do you mean every time you turn on your computer, or every time you start Firefox?

Problems with saving edited photos using Photoshop Elements 5.0 on WIndows 8.

Since a week I can not save the edited photos - when I try the communicate: "Caould not complete your request because of a program error" appeares. I had no problem with saving edited photos before, with the same software. My computer runs on Windows 8, 64 bit version. My Photoshop Elements is version 5.0. Where is the problem?

I have an iPhone 5 and and iPad so I'm not to new to Apple products, however i did just get my first MacBook (I'm in love!) I have a question, is it possible to sync the Mac Contacts app with Facebook so that my friends Facebook photos will show up in the Mac Contacts app like they do on my iPhone or iPad? When I use iMessage on my Mac I would like my friends FB picture to pop up, would someone mind to walk me through this process?

If calendar events are not syncing from the iPhone to iCal on your mac, try Resetting the Sync History as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TA23030
Then enable calendar syncing in iTunes and choose the Merge option on the initial sync.

Can I set "use facebook photo" for contacts by default?

When I edit a contact's photo, I can choose "use facebook photo" from the available options if there is a facebook profile linked to the contact. Is there a way to do this across ALL contacts, without having to edit each of my 300 contacts individually?
The issue I'm having is that old facebook photos from contacts added in iOS 5 are not updating anymore because the old photo stays as the contact's primary photo from the last time it was synced prior to facebook integration.

The confusing part is that Mail is doing this inconsistently.
Take a look at this article and see if it helps eventhough it is written for Mac OS X 10.5 it should be true for other versions.
Look at the point about directing Mail to a location for Sent mail and see if that helps.
For some reason certain messages are being saved in the wrong location.

After i update to version firefox 34.0.5 on my window 8.1, i can't upload facebook photo.
No problem on IE, Opera and Google Chrome.
I already update with latest Java and tested ok in Firefox.

It is most likely a size issue. I have a 3 minute video that's almost 200 megs. If you're just trying to show it, you might consider youtube. if you're wanting to upload/share it then you can try things like Dropbox or other onlilne file sharing programs.
