Saving image as? is not showing Gif, PNG or JPeg

Hello Firefox Support,
Made up a video to show the problem
http://www.richvsplace.net/firefoxsupport.mp4

Sorry I'm new here. Should I say that this problem is solved? I did go over to the Bugzilla forum and post this issue there. But like I said, I don't know if is really a bug or not. I would just think it is now, because the JPEG image will show.

  • Mail app not showing some png and pdf attachments.

    I'm using the iPhone 4s and recently, both mobileme and yahoo email accounts are not showing some png and pdf attachments. I'm seeing the attachment is there, but it doesn't load. Load remote images is turned on in settings. Does anyone have the same problem and a solution/explanation?

    My work email account is an IMAP account.
    I removed my work email account on my home computer this morning to test out this problem on my computer at work. I just sent a test message to my work account from my iPhone. My iPhone, iPad and computer at work still have my work email active on them and all the devices are showing the test message as new and unread. The problem seems to be that when I have my work email activated on my home computer, the messages do not show new and unread on the rest of my devices.

  • Airplay mirror imaging icon will not show up on my macbook pro even though i downloaded mountain lion. How do i get airplay icon to appear on my macbook pro?

    i have a macbook pro (almost positive that its a 2010 version) and i got mountain lion. The BIGGEST AND MAIN REASON i bought mountain lion was so that i can do airplay, allowing me to mirror image what is on my mac to my Apple TV. my whole computer is updated as far as the displays and newer features but the small airplay icon will not show up on the top of my screen. therefore, not allowing me to mirror image what is on my mac to my tv... it is connected to the same wifi as my apple tv. idk what to do. could it be because my macbook pro is a 2010? desprately looking for help...please help me with this issue
    thank you

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
    Read > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5404 AirPlay Mirroring requires an Early 2011 or newer MacBook Pro, so your MacBook Pro isn't supported.
    To mirror your MacBook Pro's display onto the Apple TV, you can use an application like Beamer or AirParrot even if AirPlay Mirroring isn't compatible

  • All images in Project not showing up

    I have 2000 images in a project but for some reason I can only get one subset of them [89 images] to show up. I have checked to show all, I've gone into smart albums and they all show up but only 89 show up when I want to open the entire project...This is true in the maximized viewer and also in list view. I deleted the plist and reopened and it's still happening. I wanted to avoid a full rebuild of the Library [not sure how to rebuild only a project] if possible. I just want to be able to see and work with all my 2000 images in that project, not just the subset. Thanks.

    What firstlaunch said and also did you make any Folders within a Folder? If so the other photos will not show up by design because a Folder within a Folder will force a separation of the images — this is a good thing because sometimes you may not want clients to see what other clients have within projects/jobs.

  • Import images grid does not show file extension

    I use Aperture in a "referenced" mode. At times, I have jpeg files in the same folder as my nef files (which had already been imported into Aperture). The import images list does not have (or I cannot find out how to display) the file name that shows the file extension too. Of the data available, i can scroll to the right and see a lot of different metadata in the list, but not the file extension.
    Does anyone know how to have the file extension displayed in the list that is shown when trying to import?
    thanks

    Aperture can display just about anything you would like to display. The key is putting the correct field into the metadata set for that is being used for the browser or viewer that is active (you can have two ready to go and switch between them or none with a shortcut key)
    This should tell you everything you ever didn't want to know

  • Project Structure – Images from css not showing in subfolders....

    Hi, I'm a newbe to JSF but really want to learn how to use it as Im currently doing a college project with Hibernate, and the JSF managed beans seems ideal for projects like this, anyways here's my prob...
    Im using Netbeans 6.8 for a web-project with the normal folder structure, so in the Web Pages folder, i've an
    index.xhtml – intro page
    css – folder
    js – folder
    images – folder
    pages – folder for rest of pages
    and obviously to access the css in the index page i'd include:
    <link href=”css/style.css” rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” />and then to access and add images to the index pages from the css, i the style.css file I have e.g.,
    body{
         font-family:sans-serif, Ariel;
         font-size:12px;
         background: url(../images/bg.png) top left repeat-x;
      } and so on for all the js and ajax stuff which all works fine.
    However in the pages subfolder say I've a page called solar.xhtml well then while it is possible for to access the css's by using ../ as in
        <link href=”../css/style.css” rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” />which adds the colour scheme and font types etc.so it's 100% getting this, however the images from the images folder are not being displayed, which I really can't understand as if I change the page to solar.jsp then it works fine also all the files inthe js folder are being accessed from the subfolder with ../ just not the images.
    Would really appreciate any help or advice you could give me....
    Many Regards

    hello,
    i have written a code to save image from my application folder to mobile  sdcard download folder. the code is working perfectly fine but the  problem is the image saved from my app are not visible in gallery. but  other image which are there in "download" folder are visible in gallery.
    when i restart the phone then my app saved image are visible in gallery.
    here is the code i am writing
    var fl:File = File.documentsDirectory.
    resolvePath(’Download/’ + strFileName);
    var firstHalf:ByteArray=new ByteArray();
    firstHalf=<<BInaryfile Content of my app image>>
    copyFile=new FileStream();
    copyFile.open(fl,FileMode.WRITE);
    copyFile.writeBytes(firstHalf,0,firstHalf.length);
    copyFile.close();

    Bad news that worked to get it into recovery mode but half way through the update it stopped and gives me the same message again "Itunes coud not connect to the ipod "mikes i pod" because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the Ipod before it can be used with Itunes" how do I get by that?

  • My image files will NOT show up when I import them

    I CANNOT see my image files when I import them. This is the case regardless of whether I import them directly from my image files, or from my Flash library. They WILL NOT show up in the stage area, although the panel on the right shows the file! What can I do to correct this? I am using Flash CS4 which I need for my Digital Design classes through the Art Institute of Pittsburgh! I will FAIL this course if I can't get this program to work properly!!

    Here are a few things to check:
    Do you have anything else on Stage that might be covering them up? Is your target layer locked? Is the layer visibility turned off?
    Are you doing this in an existing document, or a brand new document?

  • Saving as PDF -- Font not showing up

    I'm running Illustrator CS2 on a Power Mac G4 Quicksilver, OSX 10.4.11. When I save my file as PDF, some of the type is not showing up in certain areas in the resulting PDF. Font is Helvetica Neue 67 Med Condensed. Odd thing is that the same font and weight is showing up in some spots but not others. Type is painted white against a dark blue background.
    I have tried copying the text and making a PDF with just the text and it works fine.
    I've tired saving to all different levels of PDFs. No luck.
    I've tried turning type to outline and still type does not show in resulting PDF.
    I've tried turning type to outline, saving as EPS and running thru Distiller. Still type does not show up.
    Next thought is to rebuild the file, layer by layer to see where the glitch is.
    Anybody out there run into this one?

    You’re welcome. Illustrator won’t let you overprint process white. But if something was a different colour and is then changed to white, any overprint attributes remain. There is no warning except for a subtle icon in the Attributes panel, which, of course, must be visible to help. Years of griping at Adobe have done nothing, because Adobe have no interest in making Illustrator a better program, just in making it a bigger program with more wonderful “features” they can use to trick you into upgrading. Customer service, intuitive software, documentation, support, and even basic product testing are alien to Adobe.
    The cause of this is most often black text and logos that are expected to be used for placement in many different circumstances. The designer of the original will add the Overprint attribute to the black objects because the art may be used over other colours. When someone opens the file, then changes the colour to white, they get the problem you had.

  • I have gif animated images that are not showing up in my web page when I am view in Firefox. The images are fine in IE. I would like to tell all of our clients to use FireFox but with this issue I can't recommend firefox. Please let me know what I can do.

    I am using a word document, converting to html and I am not seeing my animated image.No problem in IE 9 and I wouldn't think it would be a problem in Firefox.

    Am working on a webpage with some animated gifs in it. Everything works fine when it is loaded up, the images display and animate continuously. But these gifs may be updated on the server. I have some javascript that checks if the gifs have been updated by checking the modified meta data. If it has that image is reloaded. this works fine and the new image is brought up but that animation is never started. it just sits there on the first frame.
    works as planned in chrome. it also worked as planned in FF9 but does not in FF12

  • PNG or JPEG images in Flash not showing up after publishing from Captivate

    Hello,
    I'm new to this forum and relatively new to working with Captivate. Hopefully there is someone here with more experience that can shed some light on a problem I'm having.
    I'm creating a presentation using Captivate4 that includes animation sequences that are built in Flash. Some of these Flash movies contain imprted PNG files. The flash movies work fine. They even look fine when previewed in Captivate. However, when I try to publish the entire Captivate presentation as a SWF file I get blank red rectangles wherever the PNG files are supposed to be. I tried using JPEGs instead and I still have the exact same problem.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks so much
    David

    Hmm, I may have answered my own question by looking at some other threads. It seems that changing the Publish preferences so that resources are externalize fixes the issue.

  • Problems saving image with outer glow as gif

    I've created a logo with an outer glow and it looks great as an illustrator file but there are problems when I save it as a gif file.  The glow is replaced by a white blob around the logo.  Not sure if this has anything to do with it but the image has a transparent background.  I'm new to the Adobe suite.  Should I be adding the glow in Photoshop or can it be done, and look right, in illustrator?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

    GIFs cannot have alpha transparency. So you need to choose the same background color as you use on the HTML page, so that Illustrator can calculate your graphic when saving for web.
    PNG can have alpha transparency, but you cannot use the "screen" blend mode in it.

  • Images on desktop not showing thumbnail preview.  Suggestions?

    When I save images to my desktop, the image doesn't have a preview thumbnail image.  This just started about two weeks ago.  I'm running OS X 10.9.1 on my MBA I have not loaded any new software.  It doesn't matter if it's a png file or a jpg file.  The interesting thing is that after a reboot, the thumbnail image is there.  But...  When I add a new image to the desktop I get this image again until the next reboot.
    Here are a few at once
    Any suggestions on how I might correct this?  Thank you in advance.  Jeff

    Hello Jeff,
    It sounds like you are saving imgaes to your desktop but the thumbnails arent being generated automatically. Restarting seems to fix the issue for files since the last restart, but the issue persists with new messages. I had a few thoughts for things for you to try. First perform a Safe Boot and then retest it and see if that helps:
    OS X: What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode?
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1564
    To start up into Safe Mode (to Safe Boot), follow these steps.
    Be sure your Mac is shut down.
    Press the power button.
    Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key.
    The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
    Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple logo and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
    After the logo appears, you should see a progress bar during startup. This indicates that your computer is performing a directory check as part of Safe Mode.
    To leave Safe Mode, restart your computer without holding any keys during startup.
    If the issue persists, next I would try verifying the disk and repairing any errors found, if any.

  • Images in gallery not showing up

    I'm trying to use this flash based photo gallery for my site but I'm stuck at the first step. It says:
    Copy all files to your webserver and try running flashgallery.html. You should be able to view demo images. If it works, then move to the next step.
    Note: Your server should support PHP for this script to work with local images.
    I'm using godaddy and it should support PHP. I did copy over all the files and images and put them here.
    http://victorylcms.org/flashgallery/flashgallery.html
    As you can see, the gallery appears, but it's not pulling any content.
    Here is where I got the files from.
    http://www.flash-gallery.org/
    Any thoughts on why the images aren't loading?
    On a side note, I tried running the original file off my desktop and I'm getting an error that says "this script is causing Adobe Flash 10 to run slowly, would you like to cancel?" Then it crashes/fails to load. Is this code/program not functional? Thanks!

    It may, all the documentation says is that you need php. I'll take any other ideas you may have, but I also have an email into their support dept to see if they have any thoughts. Thanks!
    Step 1
    Copy all files to your webserver and try running
    flashgallery.html. You should be able to view demo images. If it works, then move to the next step.
    Note: Your server should support PHP for this script to work with local images.
    Step 2
    You need to embed the gallery into your webpages. You can copy and paste code from
    flashgallery.html or from here.
    Note: You can change location of files in the following code. The path can be relative or absolute (except for img folder, which should always be relative to PHP script).
    Add this to the head of your webpage:
    <!-- Location of javascript. -->
    <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js" ></script>
    Add this to the body of your webpage, where you want gallery to appear:
    <!-- Div that contains gallery. -->
    <div id="gallery" align="center">
    <h1>No flash player!</h1>
    <p>It looks like you don't have flash player installed. <a  href="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" >Click  here</a> to go to Macromedia download page.</p>
    </div>
    <!-- Script that embeds gallery. -->
    <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript">
    var so = new SWFObject("flashgallery.swf", "gallery", "800", "600",  "8"); // Location of SWF file. You can change gallery width and height  here (using pixels or percents).
    so.addParam("quality", "high");
    so.addParam("allowFullScreen", "true");
    so.addParam("wmode", "transparent");
    so.addVariable("content_path","img"); // Location of a folder with JPG and PNG files (relative to PHP script).
    so.addVariable("color_path","default.xml"); // Location of XML file with settings.
    so.addVariable("script_path","flashgallery.php"); // Location of PHP script.
    so.write("gallery");
    </script>
    Note: You can change gallery width and height (using pixels or percents).
    Add this somewhere in the body of your webpage:
    <!--
    Please place this link anywhere on the page that uses Flash Gallery.
    You can style it anyway you want, but do not change or delete it.
    Read the license! Thanks. :-)
    -->
    Powered by <a href="http://www.flash-gallery.org">Flash Gallery</a>Step 3
    Upload your JPG and PNG files to img folder.
