Saving images from LR Mobile with edits.

I'm having a bit of trouble saving images on my ipad with the current edits.
To me it seems I have to manually sync the edited image first, otherwise Lr just saves a JPG of the original image to my photostream rather than a copy with adjustments on it.
Am I missing something or is this the way it works?
Thanks for any insight.

Correct. As long your image is in Develop mode (same with presets and crop) and you would like to share from there you need to maually force sync your changes first. This is already logged as in internal bug. Thanks, Guido

  • I saved images from an imessage.  now when I open Imessage, the pictures will not go away. When I press "done" the pictures remain. Cannot send a message

I saved images from an imessage.  Now when I open Imessage, the pictures are displayed on the screen.  When I click on "done" the images do not go away.
Therefore, I cannot send a message.

Quit the app completely and try again. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
    Or try this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

  • How to read some images from file system with webdynpro for abap?

    Hi,experts,
I want to finish webdynpro for abap program to read some photos from file system. I may make MIMES in the webdynpro component and create photos in the MIMES, but my boss doesn't agree with me using this way. He wish me read these photos from file system.
How to read some images from file system with webdynpro for abap?
    Thanks a lot!

    Hello Tao,
    The parameter
       icm/HTTP/file_access_<xx>
may help you to access the pictures without any db-access.
The following two links may help you to understand the other possibilities as well.
The threads are covering BSP, but it should be useful for WebDynpro as well.

    Hi,
have a look at this thread

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Go to Settings>Safari and Clear History, Cookies and Data
    - Try a different browser like Chrome

  • After import, image from camera replaced with old (and incorrect) image

i imported photos this morning.  maybe 200.  into Lightroom 5.6 (with
camera raw 8.6, running on macosx 10.9.5; see below for "system info").  the images came from my
Leica M Typ 240, and were in raw format.  after importing the images, i
went through them in my first editing pass.
going through, image 1867 ("L1001867.DNG") in LR was *not* the same as
image 1867 on my camera, but was, rather, an image (no longer on the
card in my camera) from 8 months ago in China.
the image on the camera was from 07.10.2014 15:49.15 (following one
taken at 15:49:07, which *did* show up in LR).  the *meta* data in LR
appears correct for the image from the camera (i.e, shows a date of
07.10.2014, has likely exposure information, etc.), but the image itself
    is the wrong image.
the image in LR *may* have been one i deleted (in LR), though i don't
know that for sure.  if i *did* delete it, i deleted it months ago.
the LR image was shot on 22.02.2014 at 02:51-02:52 (i typically don't
change the clock).  while i don't know for sure the image number of the
image in LR, it *appears* to be image 1419.
obviously, this is fairly worrying (as i count of LR to keep my
inventory!).  what can i do to help you troubleshoot this?  what can you
tell me about what is happening?

it appears the actual image is probably in place, but the *preview* is incorrect.  clicking on the image to zoom in causes (the normal) "Loading...", followed by a zoomed in view of the *correct* image.  zooming back out gives the normal view of the correct image.  (*very* good to know!)

A scan from string function can be used as per the attachment. The double \ ('\\') is in the format string in order to interpret the '\' characters in your input string as literal characters and not special formatting.

  • Loading saved images from code

I'm creating a single-page application with CQ and AngularJS, and the nature of my app is requiring that I pull my images from code rather than into a paragraph system via the UI. Does anyone know how to accomplish this? Does CQ have some built-in methods for pulling that resource from an image name or something?

Your reply has a lot of good info in it, thanks. I'm not using a clientlib anywhere, though it sounds like I should be. Let me describe a little better where I'm at, and maybe you can make some suggestions. I've been using CQ for about two months now.
I have a roughly 8-page application that I'm working on. Adobe CQ is being used only for the UI side. All persistence and business logic is being done on a completely separate server that I'm connecting to via RESTful services using a single, master JSON string which contains all the information I need at all steps of the process. The navigation is essentially a wizard-style sequence where each step results in a round trip of the JSON to and from the server. I have four separate brandings that I'll have to do, based on that which is associated with a particular user.
My solution so far is a single-page application based on AngularJS. This means I have a "main" page in CQ which uses "maintemplate" attached to a "maintemplate.jsp" component that includes a parsys where I drop an "angularview" component.
This page renders out the header and footer of my app to the browser, with an empty div where the Angular view will be placed. Each of the pages in my app I have created in pages underneath "main", pointing to another template called "partialtemplate", which does nothing to the component each page calls (no header, footer, etc.).
Each of these partial page components contain a mix of text, images, and form elements. The images in these partial pages are what I'm concerned about. There's no way to edit these in the authoring view, since I'm not using CQ's full-page-refresh navigation model. So, I have to hard code all the images, text and other content into each partial component.
I have all my components in /apps/project/components, and the partials underneath that in /components/partials. Javascript files I have in /components/js (this is probably where I need to use a clientlib) and I'm using relative URLs from the maintemplate component to pull them. I'm also using /etc/designs/project as a location for all my css.
My idea for the branding will be to programmatically adjust the current design path depending on user data (I haven't verified this will work) and create a new design path for each, with sling:superResourceType pointing to the master design so I don't have to have multiple copies of global css files.
The images in question are inside each of the partials. Since they might change based on marketing goals, I need these to remain exposed to the page authors, so putting them in the DAM is the only choice I see; indeed, isn't that what the DAM is for?
I'm still fumbling through CQ, trying to find out the best way to do things. If you can make any recommendations, I'd be grateful. Time is precious, so I don't have a lot of time to rewrite the architecture, but if you see some way I can make a small change and save myself some work later, I'm all ears.

  • Saving images from Muse gallery.

    Hi,
My client has recently addressed an inquiry to me. He was trying to download images from any gallery-page on the website that i designed from him: http://www.andreyisakov.com
It is a simple gallery created with a lightbox slideshow widget.
However, it is only possible to save the entire webpage, i.e. the gallery as a whole. There seems to be no way to save a single image (tried in Safari and Chrome both on Win and Mac).
Does anybody know the solution to the problem or a workaround making it possible to save images from Muse gallery?
    Many thanks in advance!

    Hi
Users can save the image displayed on page with a right click action > save image.
Are you looking for some specific function for saving image files on page ?
    Thanks,
    Sanjit

  • Saving images from the web?

How can i save an image to computer from the wed - with a pc i used to simply right click and save as - with the mac i have yet to figure it out?

If your mouse hasn't been "set up" and you like it just fine out of the box, as I do, click on the image and hold, then move your (still held down) mouse until the pointer reaches the spot where you wish to deposit the image, then release. I use some extra desktop space along the side, above and below my dock. Later you can put the images where you want them, unedited, or edit them and save them to iPhoto for eventual reuse.
Sorry, forgot that with your 17" display you may not have any extra space, and your hard drive icon may be covered up by a browser window, while the Dock's Finder can't accept a drop even if your dock is visible, in which case my method is no help.
Unless you're using the entire full screen, there should be enough space to deposit images, as only a slim slice, or section, of desktop is necessary. Regardless how small the section, you can always retrieve the image from the desktop view of a Finder window, which at the bottom gives you a count of how many items are on your desktop.

  • Saving images from pb to phone

I'm having issues saving images while browsing the web from my pb to my bb. I hold done and save image pops up. I either select save to device or media card. When i run search on the phone, it's not there.

I have the same problem, also with saving email attachments to my playbook, just cant do it.
Hopefully the gurus at RIM know about this and can solve it in version 2.0

  • Cannot transfer images from Adobe Photoshop starter edition 3 to my HD

Help - I have around 50 pictures in my catalogue in the afore named Photoshop Starter Edition - each of the pictures has a small orange square at the bottom of the picture, with a white border, and diagonally from one corner to the other what can only be described as a jagged edge. (I would attach an image if i knew how to)
All I want to do is to copy these pictures to my HD (folder) and get rid of the whole ADOBE junk.
I have tried everything that I can think, doeant give the 'save as' function when I right click either.
PLEASE CAN ANY ONE ASSIST THIS FRUSTRATED GEEZER.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Ronnie,
Do you know if your "trash bin", the one from Windows empties itself
automatically or if you have to manually do it? I would start there and
see if the ones you KNOW you deleted are there. If they are there, then
MAYBE the other ones are too. The other side is, if the other ones are
NOT there, then they MUST be some place still on the HDD.
If the ones you deleted are gone, it is likely that your recycle bin
empties itself when you shut your computer off.
There is software out there that can pick off "mirror" images from your
HDD to get the old images, but there is no guarantee and I have to
admit, I am not familiar with them. I just know that they exist. You
could try googling to see who in your area might be able to do this.
Now... the other thing I was going to suggest is this. Let's try a test
to see if we can follow what is going on your computer.
Take a couple of pictures with your camera. Load them onto the computer
the way you thought you were supposed to. See if you can get them into
PSA, the way you thought you should and then move them to a new location
and see if you can "reconnect" them using the "reconnect" function under
    the file menu in PSA.
Try that first. In parallel, load Picassa and see if it finds the same
pictures... My goal here is to still find those images in case, they
ended up some place you didn't expect. I don't always pay attention to
where I put pictures and sometimes I find them in the craziest places.
It is likely not the software... it is likely me. :(
    Cheers
