Saving keyframe size settings when opening Flash CS3

Is there any way within Flash CS3 that allows the default
size settings for the keyframes within the timeframe from the
standard "Normal" to another size, such as "Medium"?

I would love it if Flash CS3 allowed you to save a certain
size as a default setting so that you didn't have to constantly
adjust this info every time you opened up a .fla file.
Yeah - I know - it's pretty minor in the grand scheme of
things, but still would be nice.

I haven't been clicking things fast. It happens when I try to save. It's not random. I've spent a decent amount of time on google and haven't found a solution. There are a lot of results about freezing and crashing, but I haven't found any on freezing due to saving.
I know it should be fine, but that's what's weird about it. It shouldn't be freezing like this and it's at a point where it's not something I can ignore.

To be completely honest, FCPX is a RAM hog. It just is. But, RAM is relatively cheap, and the pay-off is good.
4GB is right on the edge, IMHO. 16G is ideal.

The point is that you're a customer, and the company needs customers, so the individual who's failing to deliver good service needs to be identified so they can be properly trained, and so that problems in the system can also be identified, but more important is that you get the service you're entitled to.
If you search the forum for similar questions, you'll see the kind of information that the volunteer users like yourself on the forum need to know about your system and files involved, so they can help you better.

After Effects CC: how to retain Camera Raw's settings when opening the project from a different drive

I want to open a project from a drive which is different than the original one, but which has exactly the same folder structure and files as the original drive. When opening the project, all files appear as missing because the drive is different. When I replace these missing files for the ones in the new drive, After Affects relinks all media. However, the camera-raw settings that were embedded in such files are lost: After Effects opens the files as no previous camera-raw correction had been done. Is there a way to avoid this?

What could be in my project that makes it unable to open?

Warning message box pops up when opening Flash CC in Flash CS6

Is there a way to get rip off the message? I had turn off all warning box under Preferences > Warnings, it still poping up!

If any Flash CC file is opened Flash CS6, a warning message would appear. Unfortunately, there's no way to disable this alert unless you re-save your file in Flash CS6 once.

CoolType.dll error when starting Flash CS3, please help!

I recently downloaded Flash CS3 Trial from Adobe, a huge
download, after download i tried to install, a really huge
installation!
After the installation is complete finally, i started the
Flash CS3 and it gives me this error:
Faulting application flash.exe, version 9.0.0.494, faulting
module cooltype.dll, version 5.4.15.1, fault address 0x000a2a98.
Then i replaced the file from an older version of
CoolType(i.e. 5.1.39.1) by replacing it from other Adobe
installations, then it gives a new error message:
Faulting application flash.exe, version 9.0.0.494, faulting
module adobepdfl.dll, version 8.1.0.546, fault address 0x001b60cd.
I am using Windows XP
Can anybody help me with this?
I don't what to do, if there is anything wrong with my fonts,
should i remove all fonts and check?
Or do i have to install any Microsoft Windows Patch for this?
Or any other way?
I really need to explore CS3!

Not sure if you found a solution to this but I was having
this similar problem and just found a post on the
google
forums that said it was a font that was installed. It doesn't
look like it's cooltype so it must be a font that's
installed.

Error [..\API\Inc\BE/Component/Keyframe.h-138] when opening saved file

Hi,
I've got a serious problem and I hope that someone can help me. I worked on a project in PE 3 when suddenly a message popped up saying that an error had occurred and PE had to shut down. Every time I try to open this project now (also the auto-save files), the error [..\API\Inc\BE/Component/Keyframe.h-138] occurs and PE shuts down immediately.
I looked in several forum discussion where other users reported this bug. Solutions were offered e.g. changing the regional and language settings as the error only occurs with non-english systems (mine is German), using a perl one-liner etc. I tried everything but the problem is not resolved still (I must admit I'm not very familiar with perl and all that but I followed all the instructions given and failed).
I use Windows Vista Home Premium, got an Intel Core 2 CPU with 2.4 Ghz, 2GB RAM and plenty of hard drive space.
Can anyone please help me? I would be really grateful because I put a lot of work in this project which also has to be finished within two days... Thus I really need your help betimes.

First, if you haven't done so already, resize any photos you're using in your video down to no larger than 1000x750 pixels in size. The single reason this program crashes is because people load it with photos directly from a digital camera, which can be 20-25 times the size of a video frame.
Using smaller photos will not only save your resources but will speed up the rest of your processes later, when you output your DVD or video.
If that doesn't help, it's possible the program is still overtaxed by working with non-DV-AVI files and what seems to be about two hours worth of source files (even if you've trimmed that down to 45 minutes). I usually work on my videos in 10 or 15 minute sequences, which I output as AVI movies and combine in a final mix. When I do this, I never have a problem with the computer lugging or throwing up error codes. Here's how:

But, for now, reboot and defragment your drive and see if you can at least get your project open. If you're still getting error codes, something may have corrupted. But, more likely, you've just got too much going on at the same time.

No Timeline when opening in CS3

I just upgraded my Premiere Pro 1.5 to CS3. I had a project I was working on in Pro 1.5 that I wanted to continue working on in CS3, but when I open my project in CS3 there is no timeline sequence. Everything else such as my resource bins and the contents of them are there, but where did my timeline go???
Even stranger is that if I make a new sequence (File --> New --> Sequence), it is named "Sequence 02" --- Which seems to make me believe the sequence 01 is actually still there but I just can't access it!
Anyone else have this problem?

Aanarav, thank you so much for your wisdom! :) I just purchased Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0 with Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 a little under a month ago and then decided to upgrade to Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 with Adobe Encore CS3 last night. I was shocked when I opened up the .PREL file this morning to find that my timeline wouldn't open up, nor could I add anything to my timeline. Thankfully, Jeff had a similar issue to mine and between the two of you, you just saved me over 10 hours of work to re-do what I had been working on over the last two weeks.

Error message when opening Indesign CS3

After using Indesign CS3 without trouble for several years, today I reloaded it onto a new PC (generally identical to the old; a little more powerful) but when starting it up, keep getting the message 'Error 45. Error String - Object invalid'. Reference is made to line 387 and then line 345. When a new document is opened, the programme just hangs. I have never experienced anything like this before.
I have removed the programme from the system (Win 7) and reinstalled it but the error continues.
Any ideas?

My recollection is this is a Suitcase error. There was a thread about it here a few months ago, I believe, and I think an update to Suitcase fixed it.

Objects that were anchored using CS2 change when opened in CS3

I am using Adobe Indesign CS3 on a Windows XP operating system over a network of about 20 people (but the software is on my computer, files are on the network).
We just upgraded to Adobe CS2 from CS3, and we are finding that on files where the objects were anchored, using the custom anchor feature, aligned to the anchor point - are now moving to the pasteboard or opposite page when we open the files in CS3, and they behave bizzarely. When we try to move them to the right, they move to the left, and likewise. Anyway, I was able to make them behave by changing the alignment to the column edge... but we do not want to have to do this for every file cuz we have a ton of files created that way in CS2. Any suggestions or workarounds?

I try to re-create your problem, but in my case, overlaid text was fine and whole thing was not flattened. I couldn´t ungroup it either, so something was wrong there anyway. With Direct select tool (white arrow) I could pick all the parts one by one and cut/paste them off the original button.
EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention that I had to convert it back to object before I could do anything to it.

Illustrator crashes when opening Flash-exported SVG

Illustrator (latest CC version) always crashes when I try to open a Flash-exported SVG. It doesn't matter if I try to open it directly or import to a blank document. Other SVGs open well. I've already disabled all non-essential Windows 7 services. Does anyone know a workaround?

The whole thing is as simple as this: any software shouldn't crash while opening a file with incompatible data (it should warn and abort the operation)! And actually Illustrator opens every SVG file correctly, but those exported by Flash Professional. The file data should be correct, since any other SVG-compatible software can open those images. Any software, but Adobe Illustrator... You can see at Re: Is there a way to save out/export vector art from Flash CC to open as vector art in Illustrator CC? that Flash Professional's SVG export feature should allow a Flash-Illustrator workflow. It doesn't, at least on my system. I've described in few words the steps to reproduce the error: latest CC software, Windows 7 system, no matter any other service, export SVG from Flash (tried different options), open with Illustrator, unexpected crash. I haven't attached the files because the forum does not allow this. How do I recover an indesign CC file which is saved, but keeps crashing when opened?

I have been working on a file for a while, regularly saving etc. Now it keeps crashing when I open it.
How can I get the file to open properly?

Help! Transparency error when opening flash website on Chrome

Hi, this website was created with html background under and flash on it. When I open it on IE or FF, It shows exactly like my client's design

But this error happened when I open it on Google Chrome: a piece of flash part can see through background. Feel like transparency

set wmode to "opaque" to see if that fixes the problem.

Doc saved to iCloud blank when opened

I wrote the beginning of a document a couple of days ago on my iPad, when I went to open it this morning all I get is a blank page!
It is showing a preview of the document in the thumbnail view, and it is showing the size of the document so there does appear to be information in there, but nothing when I open it. I know chances are slim that it is there, but has anyone else had this experience or know a way to recover it?

Just a little more info. As I mentioned above, I added some comments to the doc yest eve, now I have a blank page with no comments, and if I go to the View menu and Show Comments, the application crashes, like every time. Don't know if that helps at all.

Error when opening Fireworks CS3 by first time

I downloaded the trial version of Fireworks CS3 as I'm
planning to buy it, but after downloading and installing it,
Fireworks wouldn't work, a message appeared saying that the License
for the product stopped working, I tought a problem might have
ocurred during downloading so I downloaded it again, installed but
the same problem continued. The message that appeared also said
that maybe reinstalling would be the solution but it wasn't.

I've read all of the instructions, but I'm afraid that I only
count with 8 of the 9 requirements, I have a RAM of 448MB, anyhow I
don't think this has anything to do with the error I got, as the
RAM would only affect how fast the program would run, it WOULD let
me open it.
btw, the download comes with Bridge CS3, the extension
manager and stuff, they all work correctly, expect fireworks wich
is the most important thing, why wont Fireworks work????????? It's
depressing.
I also noticed some innadequate behaviour where the software
is placed at; the installer creates a folder named "Adobe" wich is
fine, but the programs are placed outside that folder, is this a
sign that has to do with the problem I'm experiencing?

Lite, it might be the problem, but there's even a bigger problem: I
can't uninstall it!! i don't know why, any ideas?
