Saving Mutiple bmp images in labview?

Hi Everyone,
I want to save more than one bmp image in one of my project. i am able to save one but dont getting idea to save more than one.
Can any body guide me in this problem...
Note: My project's VI is attached...

Thanks for ur fruitful suggestions, I have tried to implement ur suggestions in my project. they are not working as they should actually i dont want to take snaps for the fixed number of iterations. My number of snaps are depending on the current position of my stepper motor. so i have put my image capture 'Freeze image' into the event structure of current position. as my current position changes my camera takes the image for each new value of current position. i have tried to implement ur suggestion please have a look at it and guide me where i am making blunder.
Note: Snap shot for the problematic area is attached.

Preview doesn't display bmp image

Using Bootcamp, I saved a BMP image file of a windows screenshot. I can view the screenshot with Tiger & Preview properly, but when I open the file with Leopard & Preview, the entire image is blank except for the windows image resize buttons in the top right corner.
Using Leopard and Quicktime, I can view the image. Also I can display the image properly using Microsoft Word on Leopard. I cannot see the image when I insert it into Pages on Leopard.
Why is the BMP file viewable with only certain applications? Does Preview, under Leopard, no longer support BMP files?

I tried using the link you provided to report the problem to Apple, but it wouldn't log me in. Do you have to be a developer to use Bug Report? If so, perhaps a developer could confirm this as a problem, and report it.

Problem: On a Leopard system the BMP is not displayed properly using Preview or Pages, but it is viewable using QuickTime or MSWord.

Under the graphics and suond palette you will find two more palettes that handle imagews and the other image files.
From those you can do a pixel by pixel comapre.

A "standard" image, by which I mean an image type most typically encountered, stores image data in RGB format with 8 bits per colour, making them 24-bit images (24bbp - bits per pixel). A 32-bit image normally includes an additional 8 bits for the alpha channel, but in BMP files this format is complex (see wiki article), and it appears the LabVIEW Read BMP function does not support it.
Do you have the IMAQ toolkit? I can't test the theory, but perhaps the IMAQ functions for reading image files are more advanced and can read your images?

I want to use Get Panel Image in Labview 5.0.1 and need details on how to save the BMP data generated

I am trying to generate an application that saves a copy of its front panel on completion. This is easy to do using an invoke node with Print VI to HTML but this does not work in an .exe format. I have seen elsewhere that you have to use the Get Panel Image method, but no details are supplied in LV 5.0.1 documentation of how to use the "image" data (1-D Unsigned Byte array) that is generated. I want to save this in a format that can then be read as a bitmap in any standard graphics package. Any assistance?

If you'd upgrade to LV5.1 or 6 you could use the 'standard' vi's for this.
You need a VI called "Write BMP File.vi". It's not shipped with LV5.0.1.
This vi only uses 3 subVI's, so perhaps someone at NI can convert it and
send it to you (sorry, I won't, it's copywrited).
If you cannot get this VI anywhere, you'll need to figure out the BMP file
format yourself. It's not too complicated, but still could take some days.
Perhaps someone figured it out before LV5.1 was released.

When saving a bmp file on the iphone, is the file being manipulated ?

Hi, i've searched the forum, the net and documentation and couldn't find the answer-
When i save a bmp file to my iphone photos library, for example, when downloading it from a web or from an email, is the BMP file being manipulated to another form when it is saved on the iphone file system ?
my application deals with BMP files (among others). in my application flow, a user will choose a BMP image from the photo library (an image he previously put there as described before) and the application will need to use this image's BMP data AND i MUST be sure that the BMP file data did not change at all since the time it was stored in the photo library until my application retrieved it.

The reason i work with BMP is that part of my app algorithm is an old and working C code which does what i need over a BMP file. Implementing that code in objective-c might be too much of an overhead for me.

Does anybody know if there's a simple way or what is the most simple way to write a PNG file to my Documents directory (app sandbox) as a BMP ? and i mean a real BMP image file.. a one i can actually open with some preview application.
assuming that a user chose a PNG image from the photo library (i'm using UIImagePickerControl), i recieve the image as UIImage* (to the userFinishedPickingImageithInfo ) in my app and i would like to write the selected image as a pure BMP file to my Documents dir.

Problem Saving Gererating GIF Image

Hello, we are having a problem in production environment when try to right mouse and select Print on an mii grid. Works just fine in all of our non-production environments. Checked the System Security pull downs and they all matched non-prod. Was not sure which one to compare, was not a ImageStorageServlet on pull down menu.
After right mouse and select Print on grid, get:
-Java Applet Window popup message - Problem Saving Gererating GIF Image
-Then - blank browser page - .../XMII/ImageStorageServlet/View/null
- Non-production servers works fine produces grid on browser page - XMII/ImageStorageServlet/View/2084280301

BMP image not printing on LIPI Dot MAtrix printer

Hello everybody .
I am facing a promlem while printing a signature ( bmp image ) in a report .
In print preview it is showing coreclty but while printing to LIPI Dot matrix printer model TALLY 2500 that Signature( bmp image ) is not getting printer.
Can anybody let me know wether any setting is to be done from SAP side .

Hi Raje,
Try to take the print in inkjet or laserjet printer
just for confirmation purpose .
if it prints in that and doesn't print in dot matrix then the problem is with the dot matrix.
In that case ask the basis guys to install the relevent device driver for that dot matrix printer( as normally they would have installed some generic driver ).

          I upload two bmp images in se78. I maintained the image name in zreport. Using select qry i fetch the name and i want to diaplay those images one of the column in my alv report.

Because of i'll go to create one alv report to display the images.
For example:
in material master they maintained the machine model number,machine name etc.
Now their req is they need a report

.(In Mch_Img Column i need a image related to that particular machine how)

How to view BMP images in JFileChooser.. for previewing..

I was trying to open JFileChooser with preview of BMP images.. but remain unsuccessful.. it was showing JPG and GIF perfectly.. but in case of BMP it does not show anything.. am not using any filter though!!

The Image I/O system in JAVA 5 has readers and writers for BMP and WBMP formats... so cant I upload BMP image by ImageIO and put them in icons to display... in JFileChooser.. ??

i am using load listener function to load the images from
the xml file. but it loaded the images like jpg,png...etc but not
bmp image
can one tell hw to solve this error....
or i need to add any thing in my script for adding the bmp

Problem in OPENING file saved as .bmp(JFilechooser) in PAINTBRUSH / WIN98

Using the JFileChooser I saved the contents of a canvas as " .bmp" file
now when I try to open this ".bmp" file in the paintbbrush application in windows, I am not able to open.,......
can anyone pls explain me why ?? how ???
also the vice- versa is not happening....
a filed saved in ".bmp" format by the paintbrush is not opened in the java using the JFilechooser ???

Producing a line graph of int values and saving as an image

Hi,
I wonder if anyone could help me with this. I have 2 arrays of integer values that I would like to plot as a line graph (e.g. X[ ] and Y [ ]) and then have this line graph saved as an image (the format isn't too important but PNG would be preferred).
Could somone point me in the right direction of an easy way to do this?

How do we compare two images in labview?

I have created a back end code which is comparing two images using LABVIEW.i have used a comparator and put a tolerance factor which will help me filter out almost same images.the problem i am facing is that on subtraction of the given two images i am getting a completely random output with noise surrounding the parts of the image which are being compared.Also the tolerance percentage i have given has not been working very effectively.Kindly let me know if there is an easier solution to my task or what needs to be done
