Saving picture from email account

can anyone let me know how to save pictures from your email to your phone? somebody sent me a picture that i would really like to place as my wallpaper - is the only way to accomplish this by saving the picture to iphoto and re-syncing? if there is a way to click on the picture in my email and save it, i would greatly appreciate the help . . .
Thanks

You can not save the photo from email on the phone, It is view only. The Picture would have to be saved to your computer then placed on to the phone.

When saving pictures to my iphone from an email the pictures show up very blurry & not as crisp & clean that they had looked in the email. Transfered pictures from my computer to my iphone look great. What is wrong with my pictures? & How can I get them to look good when I save them.
    Thanks,
    E

I'm having this same problem and it has been going on for a couple of months now. Every time I try and save a picture from an email or the internet, it shows up very blurry on my iphone. This even happens from pictures that I saved from emails awhile ago; they used to be clear and sharp, now they are very blurry.
Anyone out there have any ideas about this one??

  • Trouble Saving Pictures From Email

I am unable to save pictures that were sent as attachments.  Hen I tap on the picture, it gives me 3 options.  Open in Safari, Open in Chrome, Copy Image link.  I can save pics from the web.

  • Saving pictures from email to Playbook

    Is this possible?
I can finally get them to open properly... thank you for that ability.
Now I would like to save some to my Playbook, but there doesn't seem to be a menu option to do anything with the pics once they are opened.
In the email body, the only option is to open them as well no option to save.
    Thanks

make sure you file has the jpeg for photos and mp4 for video.

How to paste pictures into email account signature. I cannot get the pic to be visible. I have an iPhone 6 Plus

I think I got it to working, IMbatman13folllowing the directions from that thread.
I created a signature on my laptop.  Included a png in it.
Sent an email with that signature to myself on my iPhone. I did not put a message in the body.
Opened it up on iPhone. Selected entire 'body'.  Copied all.
Went into Settings, Signatures, Selected a different email account, pasted in what I had copied.
    And it worked.

  • How do you save a picture from email to the iPhoto?

How do you save a picture from email to the iPhoto?

Click and hold on the Save button, and a menu appears, listing each attached file’s name along with a Save As button. Select any individual file, and you’ll save just that attachment to disk. But the really nice feature is the final menu item—Add to iPhoto. That’s right; with one button click-and-hold, you can add all of a message’s attached images to iPhoto.

either use the pop protocol to get your mails, or move mail into a "local Folder" from your mail account and it will delete on the server as well as from the account in Thunderbird.

  • When I had IEXP. I would save a picture from email to My Pictures. With Firefox it doesn't work. Saved pic shows a box w/IEx & no pic.

When I save a picture from my email to My Pictures the picture doesn't appear. A box appears in My Pictures that shows Internet Explorer (E) and no picture of what I tried to save. The jpeg also wasn't at the bottom drop down box. I could name the picture but it didn't transfer over. I use to have Internet Explorer when the pictures were put into the My Pictures but have now gone to using Firefox. Did changing to Firefox cause me not to be able to use My Pictures for the email pictures I'm trying to save?

Which method are you using to save the picture? Typically it works to right-click and use Save Image As.
If that option is not available or does not work, is the image a link (for example a small thumbnail image linked to a larger version)? In that case, you might try Ctrl+clicking the link to open the image in a new tab and see whether you can then save it successfully.

  • Visualizing pictures from different accounts

    Hi everybody!
I and my wife use our MacBook Pro through 2 different accounts. I do most of the picture download work by myself and this results in all the pictures being saved in my library. Although most are family pictures and in order to avoid space use (in double-saving images on both accounts) we were seeking a way to simply make them accessible to the other accoun, e.g. creating different shared libraries.
I am sure someone has experience in this.
    Thanks everybody.

    What version of iphoto?
For iPhoto 09 (version 8.0.2) and later:
    What you mean by 'share'.
If you want the other user to be able to see the pics, but not add to, change or alter your library, then enable Sharing in your iPhoto (Preferences -> Sharing), leave iPhoto running and use Fast User Switching to open the other account. In that account, enable 'Look For Shared Libraries'. Your Library will appear in the other source pane.
Any user can drag a pic from the Shared Library to their own in the iPhoto Window.
Remember iPhoto must be running in both accounts for this to work.
If you want the other user to have the same access to the library as you: to be able to add, edit, organise, keyword etc.
Quit iPhoto in both accounts. Move the Library to the Users / Shared Folder
(You can also use an external HD set to ignore permissions, a Disk Image or even partition your Hard Disk.)
In each account in turn: Double click on the Library to open it. (You may be asked to repair the Library Permissions.) From that point on, this will be the default library location. Both accounts will have full access to the library, in fact, both accounts will 'own' it.
However, there is a catch with this system and it is a significant one. iPhoto is not a multi-user app., it does not have the code to negotiate two users simultaneously writing to the database, and trying will cause db corruption. So only one user at a time, and back up, back up back up.

  • Saving pcitures from email directly onto iTouch?

So I was on Safari checking my email on my iTouch and I opened up a few emails I had that contained pictures. I somehow opened a link on one of the pcitures that let me save it the Photos section of my iTouch.....I have no idea how I did this and I've tried everything to save other pictures from my email onto my iTouch. Does anybody know how to do this?
    Thanks

    From the manual, page 76:
"Saving Images from an Email Message or Webpage
You can add images attached to an email message or webpage to your Photo Library.
Add a photo to your Photo Library: Press and hold the photo, then tap Save Image.
The image is added to the Photo Library. You can upload your pictures to your
computer’s photo application by connecting iPod touch to your computer."

  • Receiving, saving pictures via email (Pre)

My friend took a picture from his iPhone and emailed it to me via my yahoo account. The email & picture came across displayed fine on the Pre. But I can't save it to the phone. The picture does not show up as an attachment via the email client on the Pre. If I go onto the browser and go to my Yahoo email via the browser, then I can see it as an attachment. But then WebOS still cannot save the pic locally.
Is there a way to do this?
Or should I file a suggestion for improvement?
I experimented with Gmail and got the same results.
    Thanks, Nick
Post relates to: Pre p100eww (Sprint)

Maybe its an Iphone thing? I know I just tried between me and my wifes pre's. Gmail, and att account (yahoo). And it works fine. Sent image as attachment. Email shows there is an attachment and when you click it it starts downloading. Once its done, click it again and it opens the image. With a button that says "Copy to Phone"
