Saving / Priniting from HTLM files

Hello folks, everytime I save as PDF a web page or Print the Web page
My Acrobat 7 inserts the address on top or bottom.
Like you see here : file:///E|/DVD Lab Pro v2.5/GUIDE/audiotitle.htm (1 of 2)6/13/2009 7:20:32 AM
It also puts a little title on the very top of the page.
How can I stop / Indicate my Acrobat 7 to NOT do that and just convert the page to pdf ?
Thanks
           Gesy

If you use the FILE>Open Web Page in Acrobat, you will get a set of settings on the open page that allows you to set these features. You are using your browser and the settings you are using are set by the browser, not Acrobat. You would get the same result if you printed to paper. You can see the result if you do a print preview that would show how your browser would show the page. In SeaMonkey, this is all in the Page Setup. A Page Setup is also found in IE and Firefox. If you use Create PDF in IE, you might additional settings under the Adobe Preferences menu.

  • Saving tiff from Raw file is very slow (10 min) CS6?

    MY OS is 10.7 and using CS 6, Raw 8.3.0 . I am having difficulty saving files from my RAW file, it is now taking up to 10 min just to do a simple save in photoshop. I have 32 GB of Ram and 2700GB on an internal scratch disk. The process of saving will stop at about 50% then stall and at about 8-10 min the file will save as a tiff. What is going on, this just started in the past week?

    Whenever I begin to experience a slow-down in my system (Mac OS) I launch "Activity Monitor" which shows me where all my CPU and RAM resources are being allocated and how much. This is where I will usually find the resource hog. There is probably an equivalent system utility for Windows OS.
    The next thing I would check (often alluded to by the resource allocation check above) is what programs are being automatically loaded at launch -- your Start-Up list. For a Mac this can be found in the User info. I believe Windows also has this list, maybe somewhere in the Control Panel.
    Next, I will do as R_Kelly suggests and replace my preferences files for both Photoshop and Bridge. I have a good copy of each file saved where I can reload it when necessary.
    Last I will do a diagnostic hardware test, available on Mac OS by accessing the recovery disk. Not sure about Windows, probably in System Accessories folder or in the Control Panel. Once I discovered I had a bad stick of RAM memory that was slowing things down and even causing Photoshop to crash. Also check to see if your Scratch Disk is clean and defragmented. I re-formated my Scratch Disk once and that cleared up a problem I was having with Photoshop.

  • Saving image from AVI file

    Hello,
    I have a piece of sofware using Buffer("bti") to stream live video (avi format). It could save video in avi format also. but now I have a problem that I need to use another buffer ("buf")to get a instant image from the live video and save it at disk. The code as follow:
    private void Save() {
         enableComponents(false);
         buttonStart.setLabel("Pause");
         buttonEnd.setEnabled(true);
         Buffer buf = grabberControl.grabFrame();
         if (bti == null || !buf.getFormat().equals(lastSnapFormat)) {
                   bti = new BufferToImage((VideoFormat)buf.getFormat());
                   lastSnapFormat = buf.getFormat();
         Graphics2D G2D;
    Image im = bti.createImage(buf);
    biSrc = new BufferedImage (im.getWidth(Spy_Eye.this),im.getHeight(Spy_Eye.this), BufferedImage.TYPE_INT_RGB);
    G2D = biSrc.createGraphics();
    G2D.drawImage(im, 0, 0, Spy_Eye.this);
    biDest = new BufferedImage(im.getWidth(Spy_Eye.this), im.getHeight(Spy_Eye.this), BufferedImage.TYPE_INT_RGB);
    if (im != null) {
    //Create a fileoutputstream.
    FileOutputStream fos;
    try{
    fos = new FileOutputStream("c:\\myJpeg.jpg");
    JPEGImageEncoder encoder = JPEGCodec.createJPEGEncoder(fos);
    encoder.encode(biSrc);
    fos.flush();
    fos.close();
    catch(FileNotFoundException e)
    {System.out.println(e);}
    catch(IOException ioe){System.out.println(ioe);}
    if (snapFrame == null){
    snapFrame = new SnapFrame(im);
    snapFrame.setVisible(true);
    snapFrame.setImage(im);
    snapFrame.setTitle("Image");
    processor.start();
         System.out.println("Image Capture");
    The processor.start() control the live stream and that code seems to be hold at "Buffer buf = grabberControl.grabFrame();" and no longer go.
    What should I do to improve such code. Please help. I am new to JAVA and JMF. If my description is not clear and anyone seem to be help need more information about those code, pls leave message what kind of information is needed.

  • How to open saved files using 'read from text file' function

    Hi everyone, I am having a hard time trying to solve the this particular problem ( probably because I am a newb to lanbview ). Anyway , I am able to save the acquired waveforms by using the 'Write to text file' icon. I did manually modify the block diagram of the 'Write to text file' icon and create the correct number of connector so as to make my program work. But now I have no idea on how to modify the block diagram of the 'Read from text file' block diagram to make my program 'open' my saved waveforms. Or i do not have to modify anything from the block diagram of the 'Read from text file'? Can anyone teach/help me connect up? Do i need the build array on the "open" page?
    Here are some screenshots on part of my program
    let me know if you guys would need more information / screenshots thank you!

    Ohmy, thanks altenbach. oh yeah i forgot about those sub VIs. will upload them now. Was rather demoralized after reading the comments and really struck me on how weak i'm at on labview really hope to get this done. But of course i have to study through and see how it works. Actually i am going to replace those 'signal generators sub vi' with ThoughtTechonology's sample code so i can obtain data waveforms real-time using Electrocardiography (ECG) ,Electromyography (EMG ) and Electroencephalography (EEG) hopefully i can find out how to connect the sample code.
    ( ps . cant connect it now unless my program is working otherwise labview will crash )
    ( p.s.s the encoder of my biofeedback trainer already acts as an DAQ so i wont need to place an DAQ assistant in my block diagram i suppose )
    The sample code of ThoughtTechnology is named as attachment.ashx.vi. too bad i cant use it and present it as my project

And then I have to save it manually. Does anyone know why this happens? (It is just a plain photoshop file, a watermark is added, then save as jpeg - the jpeg is saved to a different folder than the original photoshop file.)  It happens for about 10 of 30/40  files approximately . I believe I have figured it out - I need to flatten the image, even though there are no layers except for layer 0, first.

  • XMP metadata lost from PNG files after saveing

    Hello,
    i am using Photosop CS3 SDK. through my plug-in I put some metadata in the file using XMP SDK 4.4.2.
    For PNG files, if the file is modified and saved, all the XMP metadata is lost from the file.
    The following steps are being done.
    1. Put some metadata in PNG file using SXMPMeta::SetProperty and SXMPMeta::AppendArrayItem
    2. modify the file (changed brightness, contrast, flattened the image).
    3. Save this file.
    After saving all the xmp metadata is lost from the PNG file. This works for all other formats.
    What can be wrong that I am doing?
    Is there any other way to put XMP metadata in file?
    Thanks,
    Hitesh

    That's probably because PNG doesn't save or read XMP metadata.
    There really aren't standards for metadata in PNG. (though a few products have tried adding it in ad-hoc ways, without documenting their efforts)

  • Generating XML from SQL queries and saving to an xml file?

    Hi there,
    I was wondering if somebody could help with regards to the following:
    Generating XML from SQL queries and saving to a xml file?
    We want to have a procedure(PL/SQL) that accepts an order number as an input parameter(the procedure
    is accessed by our software on the client machine).
    Using this order number we do a couple of SQL queries.
    My first question: What would be our best option to convert the result of the
    queries to xml?
    Second Question: Once the XML has been generated, how do we save that XML to a file?
    (The XML file is going to be saved on the file system of the server that
    the database is running on.)
    Now our procedure will also have a output parameter which returns the filename to us. eg. Order1001.xml
    Our software on the client machine will then ftp this XML file(based on the output parameter[filename]) to
    the client hard drive.
    Any information would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanking you,
    Francois

    If you are using 9iR2 you do not need to do any of this..
    You can create an XML as an XMLType using the new SQL/XML operators. You can insert this XML into the XML DB repository using DBMS_XDB.createResource. You can then access the document from the resource. You can also return the XMLType containing the XML directly from the PL/SQL Procedure.

  • Elements 12 Strips Metadata from Tiff Files When Saving?!

    When I bring a photo into Elements 12 in tiff format from Capture NX2  and edit it, then save it, the metadata gets stripped out. I want the photo to retain the metadata so that Organizer can sort my photos by data and time captured. I've verified that the metadata was present before editing the file in Elements. How can I do this? I've tried both checking and unchecking the "Ignore Camera Data" box in the Saving Files Preferences. Thanks

    Jim - of course the original is not retained: the apps are doing a safe save (where you save to a new filename, then replace the original with the duplicate in a semi-atomic way). This is done using standard OS APIs whenever possible, and is done in most applications. All file saves in Photoshop behave the same way, except maybe PDF (which is in some code we don't control) and SaveForWeb (also different code).
    Again, the root cause is an Apple bug in the way they chose to associate metadata with the files, and how they updated existing APIs to deal with the additional metadata. We might be able to work around this using new APIs -- but should apps have to change their code every time someone decides to add new metadata invisible to the app and separate from the file? Shouldn't the design of the metadata system be more robust, and work with existing applications? Shouldn't someone have thought about this before releasing a metadata system, that, well, nobody knew about?

  • Get information from an array saved into a text file

    I am trying to get information from an array saved as a text file to extract the information to build an string. This string will go out from the serial port to a device which will listen this message and it will answer the question. All the information sended sequencially it has to be obtained from that array. Every row contain one instruction and this has to be sended one after one.
    Could you tell me if is possible to make this driver? And if you have a similar driver, Where can I get it from?

    The VIs that I would suggest using are found in the String Function Pallet:
    Spreadsheet String To Array
    Array To Spreadsheet String
    The delimiter should be the termination character. These VIs will adapt to a string array.
    For the Spreadsheet String To Array wire an empty string array and use %s as the format. The delimiter should be the termination character of the text file, most likely a end of line (\r\n).
    For the Array To Spreadsheet String the delimiter should be the termination required for your serial device.
    Using a combination of these two VIs should provide you the functions required to make the driver.
