Saving Video from Apple's New Site

First it was moving the videos from Caches ... then the activity window style of downloading was disabled . . then they stashed it is .json files(actual addresses of the movies)... And once again the video's actual URL has once again been hidden.. Any one has ideas on how to download the video on the following site ??
What doesn't work : (Thanks to HTML power ?:P)
1. Cache hidden
2. Right Click no save as option
3. Activity Window Link gives empty file ("Resources missing")
4. .json file no longer holds direct address of video

Interestingly enough when http://movies.apple.com/105/media/us/iphone/2010/tours/apple-iphone4-developervideo-us-20100607r640-9cie.mov?width=640&height=360 is entered into Safari 5 it doesn't load the video into the start quicktime player . . even with javascript turned off . Also, refreshing the video's page shows that it is indeed cached because it resumes from point of download.
Ran it through chrome a tiny version appeared in the older player .. that is downloadable .

If you mean "can I play a video file's video part via AppleTV and the audio part via the Macbook" then the answer is no.
You could probably play the video on AppleTv and also play it on the Macbook and output the audio, but you would have to do this manually, and 2 applications accessing the same video file might cause stuttering playback issues. Additionally you'd have to manually sync the audio and lip sync problems are annoying at the best of times.
If you mean "can I watch a video from AppleTV and play separate music via iTunes on the Macbook", then the answer is yes.

i need help, i cant see the videos on the apple website and some others. I can hear the sound of the video but the video seems all black nd i cant see it. I was watching some other videos that needed a program called DivX, i first thought it was because of that but then i unistalled it but it still doesnt work. Hope anyone can help me

I had the same problem... very simple to solve...
With Safari open, click "SAFARI" on the top bar, scroll down and click "PREFERENCES"...
With Preferences open, mouse over to "EXTENSIONS" and click to move the slider to turn off extensions created by third-party developers...
That's all I did and when I tried to open the videos on Apple's site everything worked normally again...

Saving Video from a Sony Handycam HDD - I'm stuck in iMovie ****!

We foolishly bought a Sony Handycam HDD video camera last year, thinking we could save our movies to DVD using the computer.
I can do it using the laptop we got my daughter for Christmas, but this isn't really feasible. My G4 has iMovie 3.0.3. and even though I recently upgraded to a 2Ghz processor, I still can't install the iMovie I bought with iLife '08 2 years ago.
I need to be able to save files from my Sony handycam to my computer and burn DVDs. Or even if I could just burn them without saving, that would be fine.
I have heard that I need StreamClip from Apple and I see that I need to buy Apple MPEG-2 converter first and then I see in the feedback category for that product, everyone who gave it bad marks was trying to do what I'm trying to do. Then I read somebody recommended Quicktime Pro...
I'm completely confused..and frustrated!!!!
Is there a version of iMovie that will work for me even though I just have a plain old 2Ghz processor?
Would Quicktime Pro or some other software do it for me? I don't mind paying $30 for some software that I'm only going to use for saving movies from camera to DVD, but I'd rather upgrade iMovie if that was possible.

Hey. This is a really good question because I too have run into video problems with mine. After a couple of years I couldn't stand it anymore so I sprung for a MacBook Pro for myself this past Christmas. When I say video problems I mean I can't watch a DVD, a video on the net, etc. It's a pain.
But I still haven't given up on it. Currently it's just used for storage. Did that processor upgrade make any difference for you? I've been looking into that upgrade along with an upgrade to Leopard on the Quicksilver to see if it can handle the video.
We bought a Panasonic video recorder and have a G5 (pardon me but I don't know the processor speed). Even that computer wouldn't recognize the video files stored on the recorder and refused to import them. I called Panasonic and they explained I needed iLife '09. (Currently on the G5 there is '08 and it is running Tiger.)
What you might want to do is a couple of simple upgrades. First the OS to Leopard and then upgrade your iLife to '09. I can say that the camcorder works like it should with iMovie '09 just like the rep at Panasonic said it would.

ATV won't sync latest downloaded Video from Apple..

Hi all.
I've tried everything I can think of without luck. Ive had ATV now for several months. No issues apart from the normal ones that everyone seems to have.
My Itunes library is off the imac, stored on a Apple time capsule. Everything syncs just fine except one music video which i purchased from Apple store.
In my sync settings I have sync music videos (in fact there are several there that are synced already so I know this function works)
Any help greatly appreciated.

Originally, for the first 9 months of ownership, everything i purchased on the apple tv would automatically sync back to the main itunes computer. Then I purchased a few movies and they never synced to the computer. Continued to purchase tv shows with those successfully syncing to computer. In the last month though many of the tv shows are stranded on the apple tv with no syncing back to the computer. Tried purchasing some free shows (newly released stuff today after the itunes update) and they seem to be syncing back to the computer okay. So I have some movies and lots of tv shows that are in limbo on the apple tv and have never been synced back to the computer.
Even stranger my apple tv doesn't show up on the sidebar under devices after updating itunes today. It still shows under devices in the preferences window and i see the library on the apple tv. Unfortunately with the stranded content i am afraid to break the connection and reestablish for fear of losing the content that is on the apple tv but not on the computer.
Would be nice to get a little insight on this from apple since it seems this question shows up many times.

Saving video from email with IOS 8

Let me start by saying I am such a huge apple fan but I absolutely HATE IOS8. So many obvious features which appear to have been stripped it is driving me insane! One of which is the ability to save a video to my phone from my email.
Does anyone know a way to do this? I frequently email myself instagram teaser videos for promotional things then I save them from my email and post them to instagram through my phone. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this with IOS8. There appears no way to save videos from my email.

Replacement iPhones in the UK from Apple Store new or refurbished?

Are replacement handsets offered in the Apple Store new or refurbished? From speaking with the staff there they referred to them as Service Grade handsets and I did notice the box containing the handset had a quality control sticker applied to it.
I am looking to exchange my faulty iPhone but do not want the replacement to be a used and refurbished handset while I am within 14 days of original purchase.

I doubt you would get a refurb in return. Most of the stock in the UK will still be new stock and their first distribution point will likley be through the uk applestore, but i'm guessing it might be a month or two before they show up. Refurbs can be unsold old stock (unopened) or unwanted returns (openened) or even repaired stock. Before they go on sale they test them out for a while to catch any obvious issues. Typically they are a good deal.
I'm sure if you returned to the applestore and they agreed to a replacement (within 1 year not 12 days) ask that it be from new stock and they will oblige.

Saving videos from others' Photo Stream

I have a Photo Stream that I share out to family. Since the iOS 7 update, I have started adding videos to it. Can any of my family members download videos from the stream like they can the photos? How can I get this to work? I have asked my sister who owns an iPhone 5C to try to download videos, but she said she can't do it. I have an iPhone 5 that I share videos out with. Also, the videos that I put out aren't very long; generally they are less than a minute.
I know that I can open my Photo Stream to the public, but I would rather not do this.

Why is it so impossible to have shared videos in a photostream actually download to a device that has access to the photostream??? EVERY time I want to view a video, even a short one, that is in a shared photostream, it has to stream it from the cloud, and it is always very slow, even if I have a fast internet connection. And if I have no wifi, no video! This isn't so with photos, they can be viewed even if I have no connection, as long as the device was connected to the web to initially receive the added photos.
Unlike photos, there is also NO way to even save a video to the camera roll! This is insane! It makes video sharing via icloud completely worthless!!!!!!
