Saving video with iPhone 3G and 3.1

Ok so with the 3.1 I thought u could save video from email to camera roll?
I got some small clips from a friends blackberry but don't get an option to save the video?

I thought I was losing my mind until I came upon this posting.
I have the exact same issue as you all - battery stays full, no incoming/outgoing calls unless rebooted.
I have a "fix" that doesn't require a reboot - switch your iPhone to airplane mode on/off a couple of times!
I know this works since...get this...I had the EXACT SAME issue 1 year ago with my Samsung Blackjack! It would not receive/place calls or texts and the problem would not go away until the "radio" (phone functionality) was reset.
Since the Blackjack took about 3 years to reboot, I figured out the fast way to "reset" it - airplane mode on/off. Works on the iPhone as well. Just confirmed it TWICE today ;(
I honestly believe this is a problem with AT&T, NOT Apple. Somehow the 3.1 update is causing the issue to manifest itself, but it has to be something to do with AT&T.
Can anyone else confirm this problem on phones other than the iPhone?

Recording Video with iPhone 4S and Final Cut Express

I make drum covers using Pro Tools for audio recording, and FCE for video editing. I have 2 sony handy cams for different angles/views, and recently purchased an iPhone 4S. I typically import the videos into FCE and cut out the camera's audio and import Pro Tools audio. I figured I could use another angle with the iPhone. When I imported all 3 clips (sony, sony, iphone) into FCE, the iphone clip plays in FCE, but has an orange line in the timeline section, and plays really choppy. I tried rendering the video for real-time editing, and that didn't seem to work. The biggest issue, is that the video from the iPhone will not sync correctly with the music, but my other cameras do just fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

In MPEG Streamclip, you must make the proper audio settings as well as video settings. Normally, FCE Sequences require uncompressed AIFF (PCM) audio at 48khz, 16 bit. Which audio settings did you use?

Only songs that are physically stored on the iOS device can be deleted with a swipe. Songs that have been listened to, and are in the temporary cache, apparently can not be deleted with a swipe. The easiest way to get rid of these songs is to go to Settings > General > Usage, tap Music (you may need to scroll down in the list), swipe across "all music" then tap the delete button. This will delete ALL music on the device.
Also, iCloud and iTunes Match are not the same service.

Is there quality difference in picture if it's taken with iPhone 4 and sent to iPad via iMessage or if it's taken with iPhone 4S? Or does the software compress the images so that it doesn't matter if the 4S has better camera because both will be compressed to equally small file size?
At least video quality is compressed so badly when sent via iMessage that it's unwatchable in iPad. Picture quality seems "ok" when sent from my iPhone 4, but I'm thining if 4S would be able to send images in better quality.

Yes, but iMessage will always "optimize" videos (= make the file size small and quality bad), does it make the same process for images too? If it does, then the slightly better camera doesn't matter because both will be compressed to same low quality file.

No. Photo stream only streams photos, not videos. To transfer videos between your devices you can either import them to iTunes and sync them, or (more conveniently) use an app like PhotoSync or Bump.

You would need to sync with iTunes to get that process to work for you. Check out the article below for more information on how to resolve that issue to get the proper token to use Push Notifications again.

When I view that page, the video box only shows the x with "no video with supported formate and mime type found" being displayed.
I have updated to the most recent palemoon (25.3.0) and have the following plugins installed

I have cleared my cache and cookies, and am unable to view the video in question. If I go to https://www.youtube.com/html5, it indicates that I have an operable Webelement player and Web VP8, and all others are exclamation points.
Does anyone know why I can't watch the (mp4) video(s) in question? I have turned up no viable solutions using the forums or google.

This happens when there is no support in your Windows XP version to play any of the media file formats that the website offers with the HTML5 media player (i.e. not a Flash player is used, but a video tag).
That are MP4 files with type="video/mp4"

You might be out of luck on Windows XP and your only option would be to use an external media player and paste the links in its location field.

What you describe would be possible by recording your video, then removing the audio from it and adding audio from GarageBand once the video is in iMovie (I presume here that you are using iMovie for your video production. Other applications may need different methods.)

Trying to embed a video file in HTML5: ERROR=No video with supported format and MIME type found?

I am desparate for a solution. I am testing my site on Firefox and Explorer and still no sign of a functional video yet.
Firefox: I get the error: No video with supported format and MIME type found.
Explorer: I just get a distorted layout.
Here is the code I am working on:

Please tell me that there is something missing in the code. I have spent a lot of time uninstalling-updating Firefox plugins, added MIME types in the Internet Information Manager (I'm on Windows 7)

As Jon said, you must declare the page as HTML5.
And your server may not be set up to deliver video as a binary file if it is an .OGG file. I have not seen this problem with .MP4 or .M4V in the past, but every server is a little different.
To add a MIME type, you need to change your .htaccess file on an Apache server thusly:
AddType audio/ogg .oga
AddType video/ogg .ogv
AddType application/ogg .ogg
AddHandler application-ogg .ogg .ogv .oga
Additionally, MIME types can usually be changed on a server's Control Panel. One can also ask one's hosting provider to do this as well.
Firefox makes it necessary to use OGG files. Webkit-based browsers will deal with .M4V or .MP4 and I understand Internet Exploder will work with the latter two as well.
