My mac book pro is saying invalid password. It is not an invalid password

Have you tried resetting the password?
OS X 10.7 Lion, 10.8 Mountain Lion & 10.9 Mavericks
Reset Password starting from Recovery HD
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click  in the menubar and select Restart.
Log in.
If Keychain dialog box appears, select “Create New Keychain”.

Email not being configured on BB, says invalid password, but the account works online

I changed my email password and BB then asked to validate the same on the phone. I did. But it says invalid username/password and asked to contact the email provider. But it is the correct one (I signed in my account online just fine). I don't understand what the problem is. I even rebooted my phone twice. Does anyone have any clue what could be done? I tried the Gmail troublershooter, but there seems to be no way to communicate this problem. I really need to solve this as it is a Gmail id I use daily, especially for work.

Preferences say save passwords, but they are not saved

For some but not all sites, passwords are not remembered.

It appears that Firefox is not totally compatible with Lion. I did a fresh installation of Lion and then Firefox 5, so this isn't something that's going to be solved with a reinstallation.
I have "remember passwords" on, but they're not sticking. This goes for every site; no credentials are remembered, log-in IDs or passwords.

App Store says 'wrong password' but it's not!

Odd one this - I would really appreciate some help on this one!
The apps on my iPhone 4 appear to have been downloaded from at least three different Apple IDs; this dates back to some months ago when my Apple IDs didn't appears to be working properly do I created others to test the system with ... not realising at the time that Apple IDs can'tlater be merged. Doh!
Now when apps I own are updated, some downoad just fine but others fail saying I've entered the wrong password.
I can't figure out which Apple ID was used to download that app so can't establish which Apple ID / password I need to use. I tried all this I remember to no avail. As I recall, I used the same password for all my Apple IDs so it's probably more a case of just figuring out which Apple ID to use.
So, just i case I had used a different password, I went to https://iforgot.apple.com to try and recover my password using security questions but it said my answers were wrong!
So I went back to https://iforgot.apple.com to try and recover my password asking for my detals to be eMailed to me but the eMail (whilst being told it had ben sent) ever arrived in any or my eMail boxes!
I'm going crazy now!
Does anyone know how I can figure out:
(1) ...which Apple ID was used to download the app (I tried looking at the apps in iTunes but the Apple ID is shown just as my name in lower case .. no eMail address)
(2) ..what the correct password was (or how to reset it) for that Apple ID
At the moment, my only option appears to be to delete any app that won't update and re-download it with one of my Apple IDs .. but presumably as it'll be a different from the one originaly used, it'll charge me again!!

I've figured this out for myself so thought I'd let you guys know in case you have the same problem.
There was another Apple ID that I'd forgotten about that these apps were downloaded with.
Eventualy I managed to log into that account on the iPhone and I could download the updates.
I still want to merge the Apple ID together but for now, when an update arrives, if that app is currently free, I'm deleting it and downloading it again using the correct Apple ID. I can't face the idea of paying twice for the same app!!

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

MacBook suddenly saying invalid password for wireless

I have a wireless network with an airport extreme and an airport express for streaming music.
My computer has been connecting to my network without problems for the past two years, and I have not changed a thing.
Suddenly my music stopped playing and iTunes said it could not find the airport express. At this point, I was still connected to the wireless and it was working fine. I tried restarting everything, but now when the computer tries to connect to the wireless, it says invalid password. It is not. My iPhone can connect to the wireless just fine, so I know it is the computer.
When I take an ethernet cord and plug it in my computer it can miraculously connect to the wireless. When I unplug it, it stays connected until I turn my computer off, and then it's invalid password all over again.
I've tried deleting the keychain and resetting the pram. I don't understand what caused this problem.

Exact same problem. iPhone and ITouch connects but my macpro and Imac could not connect to my airport. My imac connected about 10 min ago but the macpro is still saying invalid password. Have you located a solution?

Does the iPod connect to other networks?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

Correct. That is only a feature of iOS 5 or later...

Fluids and electronics do not mix.
You have caused some serious damage to parts of your computer, and likely voided the warranty until Apple completes a repair and re-certifies it.
Step one is to turn it off and do NOT (did I say do NOT yet?) turn it on again yourself.
Take it to an Apple store and be prepared for a large repair bill.
Sorry, but that is the truth.

The previous owner has not given you the correct ID and password for you to use.

Careless? Possible, but unlikely. Most likely the phone was stolen from the first owner. It would be a VERY careless iPhone owner who did not erase their personal information from a phone before selling it, and to do that it is necessary to disable Activation Lock. Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

If a second-hand iOS device has been 'Activation locked' then only the previous owner can unlock it, either by providing you with the account ID and password, or by removing it from his list of devices (as he should have done before selling it) - please see http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4515
If you are unable to contact him to do this then I'm afraid you will not be able to use the device - there is no other way of unlocking it at all. Apple cannot unlock it for you.
You should if possible return it to wherever you bought it and ask for a refund as in this event the device is completely useless.
